Ringside SeatGood information but…I love catching up on all the latest Peloton news on this podcast. But the hosts can be annoying with their cool kids attitudes. They talk a lot about themselves and their in-studio activities. Please, less of it - why not bring on some ‘average’ members and stop the clique stuff. This isn’t high school!

RakelitaI want to like itWhile I feel like PeloBuddy has great info to share the hosts are really off putting. I had to stop the latest podcast because Amanda was bickering at the other two co-hosts for sharing details on a story she wanted to share. It feels like the hosts dislike each other and are competing with one another instead of working together. Could be a great podcast.

brandshephJohn is insufferableJohn is insufferable, on this podcast and elsewhere. Go take a Peloton class he’s in anytime and view the absolute leaderboard magic that he creates with his OBVIOUSLY miscalibrated bike. If he’s such a peloton guru, he should be aware of how to do a calibration, so the only reasonable conclusion is that he’s purposely miscalibrated it. If he was getting the kind of output his numbers claim, he would be a world class racing champion. He’s not. 🥱

#SonyLovesTofuGreat!!! Podcast !!!I love John & Amanda & this podcast. Lots of fun, very informative & I love getting my Pelo info this way. John: thanks for the tip a long time ago about always fully powering down/using the actual off switch on your Tread+ after use. I’ve been doing that now since you brought it up. Don’t want anything happening to my precious😹 Amanda: I love your accent!!

laurellea3Best Place for Pelo News!Love the podcast. It’s a great recap of weekly Peloton news. I like that they discuss what is going on outside of the studio with the Peloton instructors but also the actual in studio news. It’s a great one stop shop to catch up on things I have missed during the week. Amanda and John are great and love when they can give inside info with the instructors they are familiar with! Keep it coming, from your fellow Pelo friend! #LAURwantsMORE

theamzingworldofgamingCould use improvementSometimes I feel like the hosts are reading the scripts for the first time on the air. The pacing is off and awkward with lots of stammering and pauses. Makes it hard to listen to.
-
MvayGreat infoI love being in the know about all the new pelo info. I always get great suggestions for interesting rides too. The hosts are great!

LexiJade21Perfect recovery companionI look forward to listening to pelobuddy after every Sunday sweat session. I love to listen while stretching and foam rolling. Thanks to the entire pelobuddy team for all their hard work and contributions to the peloton community.

Kathy1923Great podcastThis podcast is what gets me through going to work Monday am. Love hearing the pelo news and hearing about some new classes I probably wouldn’t otherwise take.

JanaPainterEqual parts annoying and interestingI appreciate all the great information presented and the time they give to collecting and reporting on it. But I struggle with Amanda’s repeating almost every comment she makes 2 or 3 times “yeah, it’s gonna be great, yeah John, it’s really gonna be great, it’s gonna be great, yeah…) and if I played the drinking game where you take a drink every time she says “I gotta tell you, John” or I have to tell you…” I’d be thoroughly inebriated halfway through every episode. I also cringe at her calling instructors “my boy Jon” or “my girl Leanne” as if she owns them. Calling someone your boy is insulting to grown men and especially to men of color. Being from South Africa, maybe she does not know about the history of discrimination in America and how calling black men boys was a terrible part of that. Both hosts brag about getting frequent shout-outs from instructors and about their connections with the instructors like they’re all best buddies who are messaging back and forth all the time. When Amanda’s tread broke down and she couldn’t get an appointment for a month, she bragged about getting special treatment, a technician visit the next day, thanks to her “boy” at the local showroom after saying how one of the instructors apologized to her because he didn’t have any connections to speed it up for her. Meanwhile regular members have their appointments repeatedly delayed and rescheduled. Both hosts seem to be quite privileged and Amanda seems to have the money to buy endless quantities of peloton clothing and gear, and to travel between 2 homes plus NY and London. Lastly the new feature of picks of the week from members—please just give the class picks and why they were liked. All those “shout outs” — reading the gibberish screen names—who cares! Or save the shout outs for last and give a warning that the show is over except for that.

JoeS9103Love this show. The Pelobuddy podcast is my must listen to during my Sunday Morning ritual (after my weekly Jenn Sherman ride, of course). It is wonderful to have a place to hear all the Peloton news, instructor activity, and get recommendations. John and Amanda are great hosts as they are knowledgeable but not overpowering in their presentation of the material. And while there are sometimes some technical blips or hiccups, these snafus don’t get in the way of my enjoyment of the show. What’s important to me is the information, which is flawless, and the presentation, which is entertaining. See you on the leaderboard. Can_I_Geek

larettinAll Peloton and no adsGreat companion podcast to the pelobuddy.com site. Peloton and instructor news, and I really like the class “picks of the week”. Thanks for keeping this podcast 100% peloton content and ad-free.

Palm beach CajunSuper CringePretty rich to hear John say this “isn’t a TMZ podcast about peloton” while her and Amanda are openly discussing the lives of the trainers and the messages they send them, meeting them in London, etc.. It remains cringe.

Get_SurlyA must listen to for Peloton fans. This is one of my must listen to podcasts each week and I really look forward to when it drops on Sundays. I learn so many nuggets of information from the podcast that did not come through with my Peloton google search including learning about other podcasts featuring Peloton instructors and those with the company. I really appreciate the in-depth knowledge, history, and passion that the hosts have! Keep it up and thank you!

graniteplanetCould be betterI really wish Pelo Buddy would do something about the sound quality of their show. The sound goes from being too low and hardly audible to being VERY loud, mostly during the intro to each episode and when they cut away to theme music. I listen to the podcast version of the show with ear buds and this is downright dangerous and harmful to the ears, especially when you’re not expecting it. They’ve had this issue for quite q while now. The show in general has great content, however both hosts, go out of their way to name drop and let it be known that they talk and are friendly with some of the instructors. We get it and I’m happy for them, but this doesn’t do much for us little people who just want to hear some helpful or newsworthy information. Let’s make the show less about the hosts’ personal life, and more about the latest news. I enjoy interviews with members with interesting stories and do not find John and Amanda’s anecdotes very relatable.

klktag00The best source for all things PelotonThis by far is my go to on all things Peloton. I have followed them on Instagram since early December but started listening to their podcast mid-January from episode 1, even though I knew most of it, I didn’t want to chance of missing out on something. I finally caught up this past week. They have drastically improved each week, especially with their sound and I love John and Amanda’s banter. Don’t stop being you. It’s a podcast and we are there to listen to you to tell your stories. I enjoy and love to follow the members in the community with PeloChats, when they occur, but mostly enjoy your picks of the week. I don’t know how you always do it but your HIHF is definitely on point! Keep up the great work and I’m a huge fan and so glad I can now be on time listening each week. Thank You for your dedication and love of our community. They are a must follow on IG and are the first page I check when I log on. Great job John and Amanda!! LB #klktag00

CG 36I triedThis is bad. Amanda is cute but John is not a good host. Maybe a great fan( stalker?!) of Peloton instructors but so awkward and dorky. There is no energy. Very stunted. Hard pass.

Rubytuesday1100favorite podcastThis is my favorite podcast by far. It is structured perfectly and I love all the different segments especially the picks of the week. Amanda and John are great hosts and are entertaining yet informational. It keeps me up to date on all the pelo news and I can’t wait for more episodes!

marie.tiucoYikesYikes!!!! The conversation about the digital membership on the 6/6 episode discount reeks of privilege.
-
Kristy BrownGreat way to start the week!I love hearing from John and Amanda every Sunday to keep me in the know for Peloton news as well as getting great picks for the week. They bring humility and humor to the great community that loves to Ride and run to no where. Keep making it real!

trefhjbfjPoor sound qualityGood content but very challenging to listen to due to the sound quality.

Allison_SpinsFor the community, by the communityI look forward to listening to Amanda and John every week. Their excitement and enthusiasm for the pelo community is unmatched. Thank you to Amanda and John for delivering all the Pelo-News, picks of the week, interviews and more!
-
MPllrtPoor SoundI think the topics may be interesting, but the sound is so poor that I can’t listen for more than a few seconds. The hosts sound like they’re recording a call where both parties are on speakerphone. So much echo. Please get better microphones...they aren’t that expensive.
-
GispinAwfulClearly yet more people looking to make a dollar on Peloton’s success, and not even being original about it as this is a blatant ripoff of the long-running and success The Clip Out podcast. Need proof? One of the 5 star reviews here is from the co-host of the show. Give me a break.

Kandy MSLove Pelo Buddy TV!Whether you are a Peloton lover or Peloton curious, you will enjoy this podcast. New weekly Peloton information on classes, instructors, equipment plus interviews with community members-FUN! This is a welcome alternative to the large Facebook community that is becoming more cumbersome to navigate. I look forward to listening to this on Sundays to catch up on all that is Peloton. Who knew Ben was a DJ and featured in Forbes???!!
