ZtlxviiiFrog Encyclopedia and Podcast all in one.Amazing podcast. I always point newcomers in the hobby to this podcast. Not just lots of great information, but from many different minds as well which is very helpful when instead of just researching, I can also listen when having to do other things. Dan does an amazing job and I just can’t say anything negative about this. At this point, there’s an episode for many things out there, and even as a person who has done lots and lots of research, I always learn something new each episode. PLUS, it’s fun!
-
Rick CaneGreat PodcastI’ve always had an interest in frogs and amphibians. Found this a few months ago and I’m working through all the episodes. This is the perfect podcast to learn and immerse yourself in the hobby, conservation, plants and everything related to this topic.

SerrinCInvaluable Information!Great guests from not only the hobby, but some of the most important scientists in the field. I’m constantly impressed by the level of guests he is able to get on the show. Thanks Dan for such an invaluable podcast!

J5297Thank you!I found your podcast a few months ago and have since binged my way through every episode. You do an amazing job! The topics you cover and the guests you manage to find are top notch. I have learned more by listening to the discussions you have had with your guests than probably any other single source. I really appreciate the approach you have taken, and have shared your podcast in the Facebook groups that I am a part of. I feel like this is a great way to get high quality information. Please keep up the excellent work.

themonitormanEp. 114Love the content! I enjoy hearing other individuals perspectives on keeping. I always learn something new! Ep. 114 hit hard. Can you please point me into the right direction for investing in a dart frog conservation project. Love the show keep it up!

Ranger@92Love the podcastAs a former Senior Herpetologist with The National Aquarium in Baltimore, it was a real treat hearing you give praise to the institution. I was there from late 90’s till 2008

Kyle in WashingtonAmazing show!Even considering Dan’s apparent ignorance and prejudice against psychedelics (Sonoran desert toad episode), I’d rate this show 6/5 if I could. Keep up the great work!
-
cresswellbobbyExcellent Podcast for HerpersGreat variety of topics for each show along with qualified experts to provide a well rounded explanation of each subject. Most shows revolve around amphibian care but don’t let that stop you from listening if you are into other herps or insects as there is plenty you could learn from this show ranging from springtails, bio-active, plant care, or herp conservation. AmphibiCast has helped me to prepare for building my first dart frog enclosure after a 10 year hiatus. Thank you for a diverse learning experience!
-
boa imperaterInformative and entertaining, great pod! This podcast has been really helpful in my search for the best frog for my first viv. I’m an aquarist, keep several planted tanks, and darts seem to transfer most of what I love about fish to a vivarium! Thank you for sharing this amazing information about your passion, it means a lot and gives others the ability to find theirs. Thanks and best regards from Utah!

NCDartFrogsDan’s the ManAmphibicast with Dan is a great podcast that I started listening to during the day while I am at work. Dan dives into different subjects with hobbyists and professionals in the Amphibian World who give insights into their area of expertise. I quickly caught up on all back episodes and look forward to new ones to drop! Kyle Martin, NC USA

FfhnvdhjjfIncredible PodcastI found this podcast a few months ago and have been completely hooked. I binged every episode and finally caught up to present day. This podcast is everything I could ever ask for in a podcast. There is so much helpful information that has helped me with building my first dart frog vivarium. All Dans tips and tricks, along with the extensive input from others in the hobby, has been an extremely valuable asset. I also love when he gets scientists or researchers on the show and I can just dive into an episode filled with new and exciting knowledge. Dans enthusiasm on every subject, and with every guest also adds to the great experience. I often feel like I’m right there beside him learning new things together! I look forward to learning new things and making great discoveries as more episodes are released. Thank you Dan!

EdisonCiganyGreat source of education and entertainmentLove this podcast! I myself don’t have any amphibians yet and I hope to get some in the future. This podcast has helped me learn a lot about keeping them (of course do more research before getting any animals) and the episodes in which he talks to scientists studying the amphibians are also great to hear just for the sake of learning!

It's Not Anarexia, it's the drugs...Awesome!As someone relatively new to the Amphibian Hobby, I thoroughly enjoy this podcast. It’s been an invaluable resource for me as I’m not really able to get out and talk to other hobbyists due to the pandemic. Thanks Dan! Keep em coming!
-
ancan06Great podcast! It’s about time we got a podcast geared toward amphibian keeping. Even reptiles. So far every episode has been great. The chameleon podcast was a bit meh though took the guest half an hour to stop talking in circles and actually start talking about chameleons. Great entertainment to listen to get me through the work day! Thanks!

RjimisonAnthropomorphising animalsEpisode 5 - anthropomorphising human situations to explain why cohabitation is bad? Makes no sense. I was on board until I heard episode five. Not a fan of the train of thought here.
