I was hoping this would be about pottery
I was hoping this would be about ceramics but it’s actually business owners wishing for Marxism which is pretty ironic and disappointing.

A fantastic balance of wisdom and wildness
Every time I listen, I always get a laugh, a tidbit that enhances my clay knowledge, and vibes that fit at least one of my fandoms. 😆 It feels like I’m talking pottery with my friends, while still getting gems like a studio or class. Y’all rock my socks! ✌🏽💜🏺

I am so happy to have stumbled upon this podcast! Lindsey and Donte have done a great job making a podcast that is entertaining and useful for both beginning and advanced potters. They present conversational content that makes you feel like you are chatting with your pottery friends in class. They talk about successes and fails in a relatable way that encourage you to take chances on a new technique, clay body, or glazing. I appreciate Lindsey's organization and focused approach to her ceramic business. I'm excited to hear how Lindsey progresses toward/through grad school. Donte brings a passion to clay that is contagious and really encourages the listener to experiment. Donte's YouTube channel holds a wealth of information that would help anyone struggling with clay or an advanced potter wanting to learn something new. It has been several years since I aged out of my college ceramics class and this podcast really fills my ceramic mug. There's a special type of friendship that develops when you share creativity with others and this podcast shares that camaraderie and encouragement with the listener. As an independent potter who is bridging into monitizing my craft, I would love to hear an episode about home studios. Specifically, how to set up a clay-sink system in an a space that does not have direct water access, what to do with leftover glaze, safety precautions related to air quality after mixing glazes ... etc.

    Good information
    But boring self observed banter.

The best insight on being a working artist
I’ve been trying to decide on becoming a working artist for awhile and this is the best in-depth insight on being a working artist. While I did discover Donte on YouTube while looking for more info for my Ceramics class, discovering Lindsey’s sculptures has inspired me on the possibilities with Clay. It’s like having Bolin and Korra talk about the ceramic art world all day. Seriously I love these guys!

    Lovely to work with
Great energy and enthusiasm I love inviting these two into my studio in UNESCO world heritage sight, Historic City Center Guimarães Portugal. Witty and insightful. A must listen for any potter.

    Fantastic!
These two are fantastic! The hobby/profession has been siloed into academia and what passed for industrial pottery for decades. I am so glad there are younger people creating the connective tissue to allow others to grow and learn in this manner. They question each other and the culture. By way of a question, If money was limitless, what would you do in the pottery field? Cheers!

    Informative and Funny!
I’m a 60yo new potter and love this podcast! Great information and guests - you guys are rockin’ it. I like to go back and listen to shows again as I progress and get new insights. Thanks for being pivotal humans in my journey of ceramics!

    Great!
I really like the quality of the audio in this podcast, and the hosts enthusiasm is very enjoyable. In addition, they share great information about ceramics as well as their own experience in certain areas of it. I find this podcasts super helpful and valuable, so it is much appreciate it. However, I’m not into anime so that disengages me a bit at times. Overall the podcast is wonderful. Keep it up guys and thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!

    Delightful
I have enjoyed getting caught up on these podcasts - went back and listened from the beginning but am not yet caught up. I have picked up many tips while also enjoying your banter. And while I may not understand much of the discussion when it veers into Anime (I do get some LOTR and D&D references), I do appreciate your passion and how you link it to your art. The length of your podcasts is good - just enough to get into the topic but quick enough that it is easy for me to fit one into my day. I would love to hear more interviews with other artists (think there are some coming!).

    Something for new and experienced
I am an established artist and teacher and I find that this podcast is entertaining for me and informative for my students. If you have any interest in entering the field of art and selling your work, especially as a ceramic artist, then this is the podcast for you.

    Finally! A relatable pottery podcast!
Donte and Lindsey are fresh, relatable, silly and authentic. I’ve tried to like the other pottery podcast out there.... Zzzzzzzz zzzzzzz. This podcast is entertaining and they talk about things I’m interested in hearing about. Donte is a little rough around the edges (if you listen long enough he will admit it lol)while Lindsey offers a bit of thoughtful class. They dive into why they say things to customers or why they make a business decision in a thought provoking way. They also talk shop about the making process. They are both real and relatable. I feel as if I’m sitting around a campfire with two friends, shooting the pottery breeze. Invite them in while you work in your studio. You won’t be disappointed. To Donte and Lindsey: you guys are awesome. I love hearing both of your perspectives. My only complaint? I can’t be there to join in. My favorite podcast for sure! Way to go guys!

so fun - goofy and informative!
I love these two. I wish I could be more specific, but the obvious friendship and knowledge between these two clay peeps makes me excited to see each new episode in my queue. I hope they stay around for a long time!

    Great quality production!
I started to look for new pottery podcasts because I wanted to listen to one that took podcast production more seriously. This one is excellent. Lindsey says she spends hours on the audio editing, and it totally shows. The production is professional and so greatly appreciated when compared against others. Just binged every available episode in a day.

    Great listen for beginner potters
I always appreciate the stories and advice Lindsey and Danté has to provide. Especially on the business side (having a table at events, pricing, etc). It’s a great listen for anyone who picked up ceramics recently and still trying to absorb any knowledge available. May your kiln gods watch over and protect your fired pieces.

    Hanging with friends

    Loved the podcast
I really enjoy the podcast format, so this is perfect for me! As someone that’s recently quit my job to pursue a different career I can totally relate to the first few episodes! I have no experience with clay at all, but I love just listening to all of the creative discussions and stories. Looking forward to more episodes! Sincerely, Jeff Nguyen

About time! Great podcast personalities and very knowledgeable
Glad y’all finally joined the podcast game. I am a follower and supporter of all things Earth Nation Ceramics including a very proud Patreon member.🙌 (It’s how you show support and makes you cool so hurry up and become one 😉) I would love an episode on Kiln Gods, naming your Kiln, discussion on gender or non gender of kilns. How do you refer to your kiln, talk to it, tuck it in at night etc..... I sometimes sing to mine. Do you make a kiln god or can anything be one? Does it come to you in a dream? Thank you again and again for starting a podcast! So thankful to have more content from you both. I appreciate it sincerely @saltwaterstoneware AKA Renée Zantay
