A complete and utter moron owns and operates KCJJ. A 3.8 rating tells you all you need to know about this show. I have never seen a podcast rating sooo low. Trump Derangement Syndrome is STRONG with these imbeciles. They ruin the show with political talk. Wake up cretins and use your brain. They need to turn off the corporate legacy media and become informed. Pat Harty complains about X (Twitter) being a cesspool then he goes on X and attacks people. The guy has anger issues. Harty acts like he’s not a partisan political hack. Come on Harty you’re a regressive. You’re tired of everything being political, yet you talk politics on almost every Leftfanitc show. Such a dolt! Please stop with the political talk and speak on the Hawks. That’s the topic people want to hear. Not your political drivel. Your Hawkeye takes are pretty good. This could be better than a bottom feeder of Hawkeyes podcasts, but instead they choose to ruin the show with their TDS.

For a show that is rated “clean” the language used by guest Mark Moorehouse was totally inappropriate. Was he not informed by hosts, were hosts not willing to reign him in, or were they just willing to allow their guest to be lazy in not finding/using language which is appropriate for a general audience.

Drifting into all things (sports music etc) one of my fave Hawk podcasts! If you’re looking for Hawkeye Sports talk 100% of the time thee are plenty of other Hawk podcasts. You’ll get to know the frequent callers and inside jokes. It’s a fun pod that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

Hadn’t listened to this podcast in over a year because they can’t keep politics out of their show. Decided today I’d give it another shot. Made it 10 minutes and turned it off. Not a Hawkeye show, it’s a political show that talks some Hawkeye sports. Can’t even keep political comments out of their show when talking about a former player tragically passing away. Only Hawkeye podcast I don’t subscribe to. It will fit you well if you like politics. I’m sure lots of people enjoy it, but it’s just not for me.

Hawkeye in Colorado that appreciates hearing some familiar voices. Deprecating banter is frequently good comedy and enjoy the multi sport topics. Thanks for keeping it mostly positive and having the back of the student athletes. Go Hawks! Love when Pat (Twitter legend) says Woooooke😂

I listen to most of their weekly shows. It’s hilarious to listen to the old guys incessantly complain about social media while simultaneously basing their ENTIRE show around rebutting comments on social media. Bravo fellas!

Scott Dochterman is worth the listen. Rob Howe asks him for his opinion and then continually interrupts him when all you want to hear is Scott’s take. It’s very frustrating.

Hawkeye Hotspot podcast: Scott Dochterman continues to demonstrate why he is the consummate professional. He is well prepared, provides insight based on data and analysis, and is clearly well connected with the Iowa programs. Rob Howe is the antithesis of this and continues to focus mostly on telling fans how to think and providing very little of value.

Is this a sports show or a political show? Way too much talk about politics. So many better options out there

I came across this podcast because of the title of the show Hawk fanatic. They talked Hawkeyes for about 20 minutes and the rest was partisan politics. Don’t waste your time with these clowns.

Great knowledge and hosts know their stuff. But the audio quality is just too bad to keep listening.

They’ve had some great interviews with Iowa coaches lately, but their bias in politics makes me puke. They’re entitled to their political opinion but at least try to throw a few facts in obviously they have no clue what they’re talking about but try to come across as factual. Too bad.

Too many sexist comments and political garbage. Every episode is filled with Trump talk and sexist comments towards woman and Pat whining about his TV provider. You can get better updates else where in a quality format. This show is embarrassing to all Iowa fans.

Love the Devine Line, Tyler gets great guests you don’t get to hear from often, and offers super interesting insights.

Pat, Tom, and Captain Steve are an entertaining team. I enjoy the fact that there is no script and that the show can essentially go in any direction. Pat has extensive knowledge on all things Iowa, and has great relationships use that make excellent guests. Out of all the Iowa podcasts out there, this is the one I look forward to the most.

Enough spewing your liberal politics. Why you would offend half your listeners? Bad business Pat. Use your brain.

On the rails or off, this is a good show. Great Hawkeye guests, great banter, and just plain entertaining.

Who sounds more miserable to hang out with. This show will answer it. Pat cries about dogs and Steve complains about everything. Big market this wouldn’t exist. Don’t bother. It’s miserable. But I guess misery loves company. Why does Steve always start yelling if you leave me now?

Used to enjoy the podcast but too much time spent bickering about trivial things.
