    Spectacular
Wow! It astounds me that I never knew the story behind the Apollo 13 mission. I love anything space and our space program and let this slip past. Honestly, these men should have a day set aside in honor. Sean Brady tells this riveting account of this mission with such clarity that keeps you captivated throughout. They had guts! Anyone would’ve melted down under the pressure. For sure. Don’t miss this fantastic pod!!

A friend recommended this to me and while space isn’t a subject I’m usually very interested in, this had me on the edge of my seat the entire way through. Absolutely fascinating story and beautifully told!

    Excellent!
I didn’t know what to expect when I started listening to this podcast. I was hoping for something interesting enough to pass an hour or so. I ended up listening to all six episodes back to back. Every episode was so compelling and so perfectly crafted. I look forward to recommending this one!

From the first few sentences, I already couldn’t stand the narrator’s accent. I want to listen to this podcast, but will pass.

    Great Content, Needs Better Delivery
This podcast provides some excellent supplemental information and tidbits from the Apollo 13 mission while trying to describe, in detail, the feeling of being moments away from disaster from the astronauts' and NASA team's perspectives. The content here is fantastic --- the narration follows most of the transcripts from mission audio, including discussions between the astronauts aboard the spacecraft as well as their communications with NASA. Unfortunately, the narration itself suffers in its delivery. Rather than actual mission audio, the narrator (an enthusiastic Sean Brady) reads off line by line from transcripts of conversations, lending to the podcast having a very conversational feel even though it discusses intense, technically complex events. There were many twists and turns through the entire mission that were intense, but the manner in which the dialogue sounded like a long run on sentence broke me out of focusing on that danger. There were also several moments where Sean Brady changed the cadence of his narration to apply emphasis, but not all of these moments seemed to need that level of gravitas. I had hoped also that the podcast would delve more into the the more detailed mechanics of what was happening and why at each major obstacle of the mission since a forensic engineering firm helped gather the info for the podcast. In general I enjoyed the content within the podcast and would love for this same team to release another season covering a different mission. Hopefully they are able to use actual mission audio next time!

    Edge of your seat.
This is the same story of Apollo 13 we’ve heard time and time-again. Despite this it simply never gets old. This podcast does an amazing job bringing you into history. Even though I knew the ending the story telling had me on the edge of my seat. Amazing details added the human element to a story to make you feel connected to the event.

    Excellent Dramatic Retelling
I really enjoyed this detailed description of the astounding series of events that occurred during the Apollo 13 mission. Not too many episodes and a good length for episodes. Excellent narrator too. Highly recommended.

    Apollo 13
I hesitated in listening to this podcast as I had read and watched so much about Apollo 13 previously. This was excellent!! So many details and some things I didn’t previously know. Presentation was great too.

    Excellent
Well told recap of historical events! This well know tail of events has been given new light and captured the craven curiosity of my 10 year old and myself.

    Missing a key piece!
I agree that using mission audio in addition to the description of events would be more effective. Also why didn’t the forensic engineer include a forensic exploration of the actual failure? About the chain of events during manufacturing that lead to the explosion?

    Not Bad
I would have preferred more audio from the mission instead of the narrator just reading the back and forth between the crew and mission control. Just my opinion though.
