    Finally!!
Finally found a podcast about photography business that is relatable, up front, and easy to digest/implement. I'm just listening to as many as quickly as I can. It feels like listening to a friend who is actually interested in your success. And it's awesome to see her implement all the tools she's teaching on her own website and marketing. I would recommend this podcast for anyone who wants to make their photography business more manageable, profitable, and enjoyable.

No better way to upskill and upgrade your business
I could go back and list all the ways my business has improved from listening to TCBTH, but it would take a few days to write and your eyes would get tired reading it. šŸ˜€šŸ˜ Becauseā€”and Iā€™m not blowing smokeā€” there is SO MUCH amazing information in this podcast. Sheā€™s entertaining and full of expertise on systems and process and marketing and so much more. Annemie knows what makes a good podcastā€”great audio quality, great vocal quality, an on-topic interview that doesnā€™t go on random tangents, and she gets to the meat of the topic quickly (or, if the point is not able to be made quickly, she gets there with clarity). I hate podcasts that are full of idle chitchat and this has none of that useless fluff. Five stars all the way.

    Calming
Iā€™ve listened to Annemie for years now and consistently find her shows to helpful, motivating, but equally calming. I donā€™t finish an episode overwhelmed or drowning (maybe its her calming voice?)ā€¦ but with ideas, motivation and food for thought. Every episode has a small action item I can take away OR feel accomplished that Iā€™m already doing. That says a lot for 12 years in business! Thank you!

    The helpful advice I needed!
Listening to this podcast, has given me confidence in my ability to run a business. Just hearing from Annemieā€™s experiences (and the experiences of her guests) lets me know that achievement comes from knowing my worth, and implementing a business model (with Annemieā€™s guidance) that has kept me on track ā€”emotionally and fiscally.

An incredibly helpful business focused podcast for photographers
Annemie is truly one of the gems in the photography podcast world! Her weekly podcast has made such a difference in my business- how I approach my clients, how I plan for the future, my overall goals from a financial standpoint and how I find new avenues of growth and development both personally and professionaly. She encourages her guests to talk about THEIR methods and avenues to success- what works for them and how theyā€™ve found ways to be successful and profitable. Itā€™s always so helpful to hear a variety of strategies to ultimately hone in on what works best for your business and Annemie provides that and so much more in her podcast. I look forward to Tuesdays when I know Iā€™ll have a new podcast to listen to and I canā€™t thank her enough for all she does to help, encourage and cheer on our community of photographers.

Great for all levels of photography
This is seriously one of the best photography podcasts! I know a lot of things, but I always learn something new from each episode. Annemie thinks about things from new angles so even advanced photographers get something out of it.

    Meh
The photographer seems lovely but I am disappointed to find the podcast is mostly about selling her services. I get it. Podcasts are a good advertising tool but not super helpful if you are looking for real ways to improve a business.

    So much inspiration!
I found Annemie through another podcast where she was the guest, and as soon as I listened to her first episode, I was hooked. I love everything about this podcast. Annemie provides excellent, useful, and practical information, hosts knowledgeable guests, and fosters a wonderfully healthy and unpretentious philosophy about photography and business, and the audio and editing are professional and non-distracting. I listen while editing, and every episode inspires me to grow, learn new things, and explore possibilities. Iā€™m grateful for Annemie and this podcast! Such a treat!

    Not just for photographers
I am not a photographer, but I have my own business and I have listened to almost all of the podcastā€™s episodes. One of my top photography podcasts I listen to!
Annemie does such a great job with each weekā€™s topic and really gears the discussions towards building and adding to your photography business foundation. Where Iā€™m at in my photography career, I donā€™t want to hear so much about what inspires another photographer creatively, but how they run their business in a profitable way. So glad I found this podcast and This Canā€™t Be That Hard!
  • Hannah @ Little Bug Photo
    The best photography podcast today
Honestly I could go on and on about how Annemieā€™s wisdom and thoughtful delivery gives me weekly encouragement and food for thought in her podcasts. I look forward to it every single week! Iā€™ve listened to other photography podcasts and have been turned off by unsound financial advice or philosophies that donā€™t align with how I want to run my business, but This Canā€™t Be That Hard is really grounded in the principles of profitability and running a sustainable business. Canā€™t say enough positive things!

    Pure gold
I discovered this podcast in January of 2021 and spent all of last year devouring each episode and following much of the advice given by Annemie and her guests. It was perfect timing as I was transitioning from a side-gig/hobby to full fledged business. Annemie gave me the confidence to move forward with tasks that had seemed so daunting, and also to charge prices that will keep my business sustainable. I LOVE her manageable approach and her focus on family photography, which is hard to find in the sea of wedding photography podcasts out there. This is one I look forward to each week and am happy to continue learning from her! Thanks Annemie!!

Brilliant business advice for photographers of any stage
I am just starting my business as a second career and so thankful I came across Annemie and her podcast and the Simple Sales Blueprint early. I have binged a huge chuck of episodes and am learning so much about how to be set up to be sustainable and profitable from the get go. Iā€™m frequently listening to these on walks or in the car and nodding my head at the brilliant and useful business advice. Absolutely worthwhile no matter how many years or decades (or minutes!) that youā€™ve been in business.

I love listening in every week to Annemeā€™s bite-sized business info that always gets me thinking. Itā€™s true that I nerd out about productivity and business tips, but her down-to-earth suggestions and guests make learning about this side of photography as entertaining as it is practical.

    Great all around!
I've met Annemie at one of the The Family narratives retreats and right away she won me over with her easy going personality and keen business sense. So when I've heard about this podcast I knew that I wanted to give it a try. And I am glad I did - each episode is entertaining and very educational. I've been in business for over 12 years and I still learn something from each episode. I listen to them when I walk my dog in the mornings, when I edit photos, when I cook dinner. So do yourself a favor and subscribe - you are welcome !;)

I love this podcast because they are short yet full of good info! I can rarely find the time to get through long podcasts so I like that these are only 15 minutes. I look forward to a new one each week. I always recommend her podcast to my fellow photographers as well as the This Canā€™t be That Hard Facebook group and the Simple Sales Blueprint Course!

My top favorite photo related podcast!
As a busy mama, I rarely have time to listen to podcasts. But when I get a few minutes in the car, this is the first podcast I pull up. Every episode packs a punch, so I know Iā€™ll be learning even in the little time I have! I love Anemieā€™s approach and the topics she covers. As a seasoned photographer, itā€™s hard to find education without the fluff!

    Political?
I really enjoyed this podcast and found the advice sound and helpful. I turned on the latest episode today and inside of focusing on photography, heard a political opinion. If I want to hear political views, I would listen to that type of podcast. This has turned me off from listening again and I will be unsubscribing. Iā€™m so disappointed that was shared in this podcast.
  • Rebecca Ariel
Invaluable, and not just for photographers!
I am so glad I found Annemieā€™s podcast and resources. There are a lot of podcasts out there, but something about Annemieā€™s makes it easy and pleasurable to listen to and understand. Her style is down to earth and light hearted, and each episode makes me feel like weā€™re having a mentoring conversation over coffee. Sheā€™s so personable and makes me feel like I can actually do this thing Iā€™m trying to doā€” finally start a photography business and see if I can support myself doing it. Iā€™ve also recommended this to friends starting other businesses, because a lot of Annemieā€™s advice is relevant to other fields as well. Thanks Annemie!
  • Amelya Jayne
I wish I found you earlier!
I found Annemie through my gallery platform Pic-Time and was shocked to find out that she lives in my town in NC! I thought she was Swedish. Lol seriously. Although, I know a lot about the industry, I have struggled being a solo act and not having the capital to scale my business. I now have a clearer vision for what I want my business to look like and my goals have drastically changed. But I still - even after 11 years - lack the structure & ā€œ blueprint ā€œ to achieve my goals. When I saw that Annemie teamed up with Pic-Time to teach the business side of photography, I leaned in because no one was doing that! I am so grateful to find Annemie. She is so generous with all the insights she shares. The podcast is amazing. Definitely go deeper and look into her Simple Sales Blueprint course. I wish I had it 11 years ago!
