I’ve newly returned to my faith in Christ after a decade of doubting, question, and pursuing many other avenues and this podcast and also their resources online and Instagram account have been so helpful and inspiring to me! I cannot emphasize enough how much of a blessing Phylicia’s teachings and resources have been. I am finding God’s true gospel and answers to questions I’ve had my whole life (even having grown up in the church). Thank you to the every woman a theologian team and for the work you all are doing for the Kingdom! I am personally extremely grateful! This podcast is interesting and succinct and gives great understanding in simple ways of complex topics and truth. It’s such an amazing resource offered for free. Verity press books are amazing as well!

I’ve been following Phylicia for years. Watching her life on instagram I’ve seen her grow as a teacher, which I believe also is a reflection of fruitful character growth as well. She has been a great person to look up to and learn from on how to think biblically through practical life. I’m so grateful for her example. She teaches with so much grace and never condemning, but always challenges you because she is never afraid to tell hard truths. I appreciate her ministry so much!

I grew up in a household that taught me to constantly ask and answer the question why. “Why do you want that”, “why don’t you like this?” So thinking about things critically was and is important to me. However it’s also important to not go too deep and scholarly about things all the time. With that being said, I have really appreciated the deeper, more thought filled content of this podcast which is communicated accessibly and with practical application, not simply for the sake of a deep discussion. Perhaps the thing I truly appreciate most is the balanced, Bible based answers to all the questions answered here and on the social media page(s). I am so excited to dive into this series! Church history is definitely an area that I have never dove into. Phylicia is a wonderful teacher. She is excellent at communicating information clearly and graciously, while showing how it is applicable to our daily lives and walks with Christ.

I am a Christian recovering from a formerly legalistic lifestyle and still learning every day how to walk with God. I love Phylicia’s Gospel-centered approach to all of the facets of life she talks about. Her love for Christ and desire to point others to Him—not to legalism or any other counterfeit things—is so evident in how she talks about Christian life. In each episode I am pointed toward God’s character, and I appreciate that.

I recently sign up to the newsletter and just been listening more to Phylicia content and this podcasts about reconstructing after legalism brought so much peace and trust to my spirit as she mentioned a few things that I have been dealing with but I didn’t know it was normal. With the grace and confidence she is able to talk about legalism is really helping me to help more and be less ashamed to talk about how wrong legalism is. I can’t wait to continue to listen to more of Phylicia contents, I thank God for her voice especially as a women.

I love listening to Phylicia explain such in depth truths(as does my husband!). Breaking down complex topics and very enjoyable to listen to. She comes off not haughty and arrogant with her abundant knowledge of scripture but just desiring for women to gain knowledge of our Living Creator for themselves and have an intimate walk with Him through knowing theological truths. Thanks Phylicia for all the work you put into these episodes! Her episode on boycotting was amazing. The way she does the research then allows the Holy Spirit to lead each believer is the way Christian’s ought to operate. It’s not a cult where we all do the same thing but an overflow and heart of how we ought to act based off our own convictions.

I love this podcast and this ministry. So many perspectives and she gives you everything. It has been invaluable to me in my growing and understanding Gods word as I emerge from a pendulum swing that took me from legalism to progressive “Christianity”… finally finding stability in Gods spirit and his word. I can’t recommend it enough.

My daughter (in her 20s) first shared this podcast with me, in regard to the thorough teaching on women working outside the home. We listened individually and then talked about what we heard. It was a helpful way to prep for an important conversation that keeps on going over the years - and that’s how I see all of these episodes. The experience was so helpful, I started turning to this podcast whenever an important theological question came up in my mind or with a friend, etc. Phylicia stays so calm while discussing different theological viewpoints. It helps me to cut through the vitriol and emotive language so I can focus on the facts and seek my own conclusion. I love her heart for being under the leadership of a local church. I love her heart for her husband and children. And her commitment to her own growth. I’ve learned new things in many areas by listening to this podcast.

What I most appreciate and value is how this podcast does a thorough breakdown of the scriptures. The details bring clarity. How one single word taken out of context changes how we chose what the scripture is saying. I enjoyed the challenge of taking it further when hearing this teaching. Episodes stay true to tier one doctrines, and also willing to share differing tier two and three doctrines. One of the most balanced podcasts I've heard. It's truly a theologically strong podcast!

I absolutely loved the episode about women teaching women. This is such an important topic. Phylicia covered it humbly and with biblical breadth. I so appreciate her mission to ground women in what the Bible actually says, rather than what a certain “camp” wants it to say.

I am a busy mom of 3, and Phy, although a busy mom as well, takes the time to dive deeply into topics that I don’t have the resources to dive into on my own. I love Phylicia’s content, on the podcast, and on IG. Her books are excellent as well. Thanks to her, I moved away from Calvinism several years ago and it’s transformed my life spiritually. There are many great female Bible teachers in conservative spaces right now, but most of the time you end up feeling like they were just quoting John Piper to you. Phylicia is different, and I appreciate her. I’ll be using all her materials as I shepherd my two daughters into their middle-school and teen years.

So thankful for this sister in Christ. I’ve learned so much and I’ve been encouraged into a deeper relationship with the Lord(and I’m technically from the reformed side). I was even bolstered to take a big embarrassing step toward repentance in a specific area and my relationships have been different ever since. I know what it’s like to live in eternal life NOW!
