LaurenB..10/10!Former “Cradle Catholic,” who has also become a Baptist here! I LOVE the episodes on the papacy, and early church doctrine. Church History Really Does Matter! I’m wondering if you guys could do a podcast on the additional books in the Catholic Bible? THANK YOU! - Lauren

PuffyJacket482It does matter ……Fellas do their homework…. Listening helps me to understand that today’s church controversies are seldom truly novel or unique. ‘Same as it ever was’ - Talking Heads

alexmonsethNeeded!Really good info. We need more podcasts like this. Audio is a little tough, gets really loud and quiet. Other than that, great job!

echaviraYou are encouraging me to grab a church history book and readI was encouraged to learn about church history after listening to great preachers. Found your podcast and enjoy every episode. So much information and after listening to several episodes I will like to make a point to grab a good book and read church history. Thank you for your work.

Elisarey210So important and informativeAs a new Christian, I’m realizing how important church history is for identifying heresy and solidifying one’s theology in orthodox Christianity. This podcast is so helpful and informative and they stay on topic. I love their kind, clear, uncompromising presentation of theological truth (and also it makes me smile hearing Reubens deep sighs in response to bad theology).

J. WrightMy Favorite Church History PodcastOne of the blessings of the age of podcasts is that several good ones exist on the subject of church history. I subscribe & listen regularly to several of them. Church History Matters has risen to the top of my personal ranking for a number of reasons - I enjoy the hosts' personalities, they pick interesting topics and guests, and the way they conduct their interviews usually gets to the questions I'd like to hear the guests answer. Subscribe and listen often - you won't be sorry.

Bjartur108Not much history, mostly right-wing politicsI was looking for an objective podcast about church history. I don’t mind a faith-based perspective but I don’t enjoy the irrelevant snide remarks about promoting “diversity” and liberalism “creeping in.” I’m not going to listen to 30 minutes of talk radio editorializing for 5 minutes of interesting theology.

glmenowKeeping it real! This podcast has been such an eye opener on so many levels. I’ve never liked or enjoyed history much as a child but as a believer in Christ I now understand church history does matter. Everything you both have shared has helped me better understand things I already knew about or was unaware existed. I’m very grateful for each podcast that is aired. Keep the history facts coming, keep the laughter rolling, & keep up the great work ya are doing!! #HisStorydoesmatter

MarmotSTheology not historyI loved the idea behind this podcast but was looking for history not just another reformed theology podcast. It would be more interesting if it went back to the first 1500 years of church history and had some different perspectives.

Camp staffWell done on a subject often avoidedThese guys do a great job discussing something that generally gets overlooked by the church at large today, that being church history. The hosts stay on subject pretty well so you actually get more subject related content than banter.

Nick65RubeEasy to understand, theologically sound, and funny! For someone that isn’t crazy about history but wants to understand it, this is so easy to listen to and comprehend. The guys have great chemistry together as friends and their sense of humor is certainly a bonus. You can hear their desire to be helpful in educating on church history and its importance, and their desire to be obedient to God’s word. Everything they say comes back to scripture, not just the thoughts and words of others. Their tag line “Equipping the saints of today and tomorrow by studying the church or yesterday” is perfect.
