Jane is too focused on Jane and not on constructive discussion of the bakes. The story about Flo was mean and unnecessary.

I love listening to Sarah, Howard, Jane and Dan rehash the GBBO every week. It’s almost as fun as watching the show!

Dan went wayyyyyyyyy too far on this podcast around the 20:30 time stamp. Mocking Tash, the adorable and gifted baker on this seasons Netflix series who happens to be hearing impaired to the degree in which they have brought on a sign language interpreter to help Tash in the kitchen. Nothing else needs to be said but it needs to be addressed. It was wrong, hurtful and cruel. Dan HAS children of his own and I hope that they are never mocked in the cruel way Dan displayed in this episode. Every season we worry about who Paul will offend on the actual show and this year it’s Dan on THIS podcast. Paul has been an utter delight this year.

Thank you so much for doing the re-watch of Season 4; it was really interesting to get Howard’s insight about what happened in the tent. I love your current season reviews too!

Well done! This podcast is great for reliving the greatest reality show ever with some expert hosts. They have good insights. They are kind and not petty. They concentrate on the bakes, the bakers and the show. It is very well hosted and skillfully led by Josh who adeptly leads the conversation. It is so nice to hear from actual former bake off contestants and having their insights into the show and especially the baking. Thank you!

I enjoy the show but Jane just makes so many snobby comments. She picks her favorites and then decides who she doesn’t like. I’m only on their first season, but she is going on about Steph and how she didn’t get enough criticism for having gaps in her cake compared to someone else she couldn’t remember when Steph was in fact the one who got the criticism. Get your facts straight if you’re going to be rude about contestants.

Listening from the US. A fun first-hand review of the latest season of the Bake Off. Thanks for your sometimes critical perspectives (eg Jane’s take on “proving”). This isn’t a breathless fan cast, but one of the best podcasts about the show. I agree that the show has changed a bit (pizza toppings or tortilla fillings vs baking). I hope Love Productions is listening in here. With Matt Lucas leaving the show I d love to see Dan take his place. I’ve often thought a former baker should be the co-host. Jane would be insightful but I’m afraid she and Paul would end up in fisticuffs! (I’d be happy to teach the panel how to make Mexican food!).

I’ve tried other GBBO podcasts, but this one is the best. If you are a fan of the show, you will love it!

I love listening to Howard, Jane and Dan discuss Bake Off each week, so much so that I often re-listen to each episode. These bakers are all so wonderful, I loved them while they were on Bake Off, and being with them again is such a joy! They’re also great at explaining some of the unique British terms for those of us who are not lucky enough to be British. The gang’s camaraderie brings a smile to my face and I often find myself laughing aloud in public as I do my grocery shopping while listening. I cannot recommend this this highly enough!

I love Jane’s hatred of Paul Hollywood 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 she’s saying everything we are thinking! Dan is so knowledgeable and insightful when it comes to baking knowledge. And Howard is so funny! Recently rewatched his season and he had a rough go. So happy he’s on this podcast because he shines!

I love everything about this podcast. The dynamics between the four hosts are great and Josh is a good moderator. I took off a star because Josh’s constant shilling for the Bake With a Legend classes has gotten excessive this season. It used to be a couple mentions at the beginning and end, and now he brings it up every few minutes.

Perfect combination of information and irreverent humor. I started listening last year and Dan is a perfect addition. Josh is the rare moderator who keeps things moving, ot asking identical questions to all three panelists. Special commendation for Howard’s Humpf (sp?)

I look forward to each episode, it’s like meeting up with your friends for a weekly chat.

I listen to several podcasts for this show. Each is enjoyable in its own way. I enjoy this one the most and wish it were even longer than it is. Having former contestants is a big plus.

Almost better than the original. I love the weekly recap by the Baked Off crew and when Jane is in a grump she is hilarious. Even if you are not a GBBO fan you can enjoy this weekly banter.

I’ve really enjoyed this podcast as a post-GBBO treat the next day, but the new host just doesn’t have the chemistry with Howard and Jane. It feels more like a roundtable - ‘Jane, how do you feel about X’ ‘Howard, how do you feel about X’ - than a nicely flowing podcast. Bring back Josh!

I have watched GBBO for several years but only discovered the podcast a couple months ago. I love listening to the insights, tips and thoughts from Jane, Howard and guest bakers. They seem funny, lovely, kind and passionate about baking and the podcast has been the perfect antidote to 2020!!

I have been enjoying GBBO for years. However, I only discovered this podcast a few weeks before the end of this season. This podcast is the perfect after-viewing experience. It’s fun to hear former contestants give their opinions and provide their insights. I look forward to it each week after I watched the episode.

So frustrating listening to Kimberly and Katie. First, Kimberly constantly interrupts or talks over Katie. Also, they’re proud of the fact that they don’t do any research. Not something to be proud of ladies! Quite the opposite. Why don’t they already know that the bakers get 2 days on, 2 days off, during the compacted filming? Their families are not living with them. All info is readily available on Reddit. And I don’t think Pru is back this season. This is important stuff ladies. Listening to this podcast was a waste. Do your homework.

I’m a fairly new baker and watching GBBO has inspired me to learn more and actually bake! This podcast is so engaging; I feel like I have you in the room with me as I watch the show. Your insights, expert views/opinions and baking experience are very much appreciated (by me!) and entertaining. Gotta go so I can listen to the rest of your podcast episodes!!

The worst part is that the podcast comes out on Wednesday but we can’t watch the latest episode in the US until Friday, so I have to let the episode sit in my library until then because I don’t want any spoilers!! Watching and rewatching (and rewatching...) GBBO is one of my favorite things to do, so imagine my absolute delight to discover this podcast! I rewatched the most recent season on Netflix, just so I could listen along with Josh, Howard, and Jane. I’m so sad to have reached the end of the podcast, and am crossing all my fingers that maybe they will revisit older seasons?!? (And of course hoping that a new season can be filmed safely and soon so that hopefully the podcast can continue with new episodes of the show!). If you are at all a fan of the show, give this podcast a listen!

I absolutely love GBBO. I can’t get enough of the show, so when I found out there was a podcast I was overjoyed! I loved hearing from former bakers on the show and learning more about the show itself. I follow so many on IG and am always sad when a season ends, so hearing from them again is a joy. I’m American and have been looking forward to getting to England to take a baking class with Bake With A Legend. With the pandemic, I’m excited to be able to do one virtually! I’ve also appreciated so much the virtual podcasts that have been done during the time of the pandemic, especially because we don’t know if there will be a GBBO this year. Great podcast, so lighthearted and fun!

I found this podcast late, but have so enjoyed listening! I have watched (and rewatched a couple of times) all the series on Netflix and found this podcast “sheer joy!” Love from the USA :-)

Another American long time fan of the GBBO and now huge fan of the podcast. I love all the behind-the-scenes information about the show that I’ve always wondered about such as recipe development, ingredient stipends, and what happens to all the baked goods. I very much enjoy the banter and loved hearing Howard talk about how he is often misrecognized by strangers. Please consider discussing previous seasons; I’d surely listen!

I am yet another American fan of GBBO and was delighted to be tipped off to this podcast within the first week of the airing. Every week since I've looked so much forward to listening to this podcast after the episode drops on Friday and it's never disappointed. I adored both Jane and Howard on the show and it has been a delight to get to know better. This is the perfect compliment to the show and I hope they continue in the future, at the very least with the holiday shows if not old series. Finally this show is so well produced! Great sound, the hosts don't talk over one another and there's a flow that makes sense. Definitely the star baker of the podcast world!

It’s become a tradition to have this podcast on after I finish an episode of Bake Off. I will miss this podcast as much as the show until next Baking season! Howard and Jane offer their own takes on what it’s like to be in the tent, and offer food for thought on the judging, bakes, and contestants. I feel awful for forgetting the hosts name but he does a great job of keeping a flow going and asking good questions as well. Loved it, looking forward to next year!

I love Bake Off and I equally love this podcast. Listening to Howard and Jane and the lovely host is so much fun! I have laughed out loud several times at all of their wonderful cheeky comments but have also enjoyed their insights and the information about baking. I’ll miss this as much as I’ll miss Bake Off now that the season has wrapped up.

I’m a long time American fan of GBBO, this podcast is a great addition to my Friday viewing of the show. It’s nice to get the inside scoop from Jane and Howard, and all three hosts are lovely and don’t talk over each other (unlike other podcasts).

If you are a fan of GBBO, then you’ll love “Bake Down.” The hosts provide great contextualization and provide behind the scene tidbits. It’s a great way to stretch your enjoyment of Bake Off!
