This show is a perfect show for a Disney lover who can’t be there all the time. We go once a year and are DVC members and this gives us a piece of home! We love all of the rambling and the information they give! I get excited to listen each week! My only request would be more episodes a week haha!

Every week I await the new show and feel like I’m catching up with my friends. I actually started looking for DVC podcasts while gathering info on whether to buy DVC. Thankfully I became a resale member in 2023 through the sponsor and only regret is wishing I had done it sooner!! Love this show, Amy, Paul, Jeff, Panda and Derek are all wonderful and the age ranges are great as well. I remember WDW in the ‘80s as a child, that’s right about to turn 50 and yall get it, you see the magic and why it’s so special. I’m a dog mom and have two kids in college so lots to connect with you on the show, plus I was a big Panda fan before he joined so super excited for a great cast!! Thanks for all the hard-work and keep em coming! Hoping I’ll see one of you celebrities in person one day!!

This podcast has become part of my regular rotation over the last six months now that the hosts are consistent… and not Pete. I can’t get enough! Old review: This podcast has really convinced me to buy resale. The information given by all the panelists is great info to have as well as personal and detailed. I love how there are always multiple people per episode to get a variety of opinions and perspectives. It’s definitely worth listening to if you plan on buying just to make sure the choice is right for you. But be prepared... while I think Pete (the main host) gives good information, and I appreciate how he is honest in his reviews, he is disrespectful to his fellow cohosts. Between the cocky, self obsessed comments, cutting people off, and clinking of drinks, it’s frustrating to listen to sometimes. I think it’s wonderful that Pete has succeeded in his business ventures with the DIS and his websites, but as someone who doesn’t know anything about him, he comes across as annoying and he won’t get off his high horse.

I bought DVC direct this year and was looking for podcasts to learn more tips and tricks. I really enjoy the transparency and discussions between all the hosts and their differences in opinions. Always up-beat and great chemistry, it’s fun to listen and learn. I also appreciate the transparency in discussions about buying direct vs resale and the knowledge base about value/economics. Great listen and I look forward to new shows each week!

Found this show several weeks ago and it’s quickly become my favorite Disney show. I love hearing from other DVC lovers all their experiences, tips, and tricks. I look forward to purchasing a resale contract through DVC Resale Market sometime in the near future and have already received some helpful information (shoutout Amy Krieger). Be sure and keep the out-of-state perspective in mind! For people like me, access to the Sorcerer pass is a huge benefit as it saves my wife and me $1000 a year and eventually $1500 when our son turns 3. And a recent episode discussed the new multi pass system with mostly negative sentiment, this change is going to really help people who don’t come often and want to make the most of their days. All that to say, thanks for a great show and keep up the good work!

Thanks to all of you. The podcast is so great and it makes me want to do two things: but DVC and work with you guys! I’m trying out Poly by renting points in January. We are so excited!

Something is off about the show… While it does provide information, I think it has a lot of room for improvement. #1, while all the guests/hosts are great, they should have less on the pod at once. They often talk over each other and the sound cuts out. The show would be better if people could have more of a conversation rather than just get out half their point before being interrupted. They all have great things to say. I’d love to hear more thoughts from less people at a time. #2, sound quality is sub par. Barking dogs, bad connections, guests freezing and breaking up the flow of conversation. It lacks professionalism. #3, just so much complaining. Nothing is perfect, but for a show ABOUT DVC, you’d think they’d do a lot less complaining, snarky comments, sarcasm, etc. Like this review, provide some constructive criticism to DVC (which sometimes they do). I want to like the show more, I enjoy the hosts/guests. They are very well versed in the world of DVC and have a lot of good information to offer. I know they have a big fan base. The show just has a lot of room for improvement.

I love podcasts and love to get my information from audio, as opposed to reading articles. This podcast is the perfect way to get the latest news, while also listening to opinions and thoughts from educated and entertaining individuals.

Long time listener and the show does a lot of bashing DVC direct and go buy resale content. Just rename the show “The DVC Resale” show.

Episode 245 is when I decided I was out. This podcast has always been a bit loose with the facts and overly sarcastic, but this is the episode where they crossed over and omitted critical facts about buying DVC direct, in service to their own motives for selling on the secondary market. They have a product to sell and are very transparent about it. But this is where they put that objective first, and I have no interest.

Newish SoCal DVC member here but thanks to this show, I’ve already enjoyed two vacations on my DVC points (within 6 months of owning)! Love the group, wish there was more to talk about west coast happenings. Hopefully Disney adds more west coast events to speak on. Keep doing a great job, listening hypes me up for future trips!

While I am not a DVC owner yet, I hope to be someday and I love hearing all the helpful tips and feedback that these awesome hosts have to offer. I have rented DVC points a few times and the resort reviews were definitely useful in helping me figure out where to book. Thank you so much and keep up the good/funny/entertaining/helpful work!

Amy, Paul, Derek, Jeff and Panda are my favorite group ever to host this show and I hope it stays that way forever. They are very upfront about their sponsors, and when you work with them regarding those companies, they are professionals and very honest about whether or not you should buy a contract. 0% pressure. We’ve rented points from the rental store and had an awesome experience, thank you! They encourage you to go to a resort and try it out before buying it because they want you to love it and make the right decision. I will be using World of DVC again and again. Cant emphasize enough that this is my favorite crew and it’s time to let go of the past.

Your show is great and props for keeping it going seamlessly. I just feel the need to mention that although I know you all tease each other and joke around, Amy is treated the worst. Not all, but most of the men are extremely dismissive of her opinions and points. She also gets cut off more than anyone else. If she makes a mistake- you don’t let it go and mock her—- yet if Paul or someone else makes the same mistake, it all giggles. She is lovely and has a self deprecating style, so she will allow it to happen- but why would you, Paul?

I was looking for more information on DVC - I turned to this podcast and a view YouTube videos to help me navigate all the ins and outs, do’s and don’t. This show made me confident and ready to make my first contract purchase.

I love The DVC show, always fun and interesting to hear the various topics. I wish the show was longer and they would mute Craig. Craig is always negative. Always, guaranteed negative. He also goes on and on and on. I have to skip when he talks, which usually takes up a good portion of the show. I would gladly pay for a Patreon tier of new producer, if it was an option. Overall though, the show is a lot of fun. Lots of great tips and suggestions. So glad Pete is back!

Usually has good, useful info but make sure you understand you’re listening to people who have incentive for you to buy. Always do your own due diligence and understand the full scope of costs and how maintenance fees go up every year and will end up being a significant cost. Episode 41 is especially concerning and disingenuous when they use math that is not taking the maint fees in consideration.

I bought my DVC points from these guys and this podcast is the best one you’ll find on the topic. And while I’m listening, I like to play this game: count how many times they use the phrase “to your point”. The most was 22 times in one episode, and the minimum is around 10. Fun stuff!

So, I like this podcast, with all of the great DVC information, reviews, etc., but be careful…. listening over the last year ended up [insert sarcasm] reminding me that I “need” another contract! Thanks for feeding my addiction - it’s all your fault! In all seriousness, the podcast is great and DVC Resale Market and Monera make buying super (too?) easy.

This was a good episode, but left out a key piece of information around Disney’s wokeness. Their commitment to certain types of children’s content that a number of people simply don’t want in front of their kids and grandkids has and will continue to hurt their business. As we have seen with so many other businesses: get woke, go broke. Hope Disney comes to their senses soon on their recent content related decisions.

This is a great Disney podcast. I always enjoy the information as well as the banter. They hosts are very supportive of each other even when they have opposite opinions. I love the family first attitude.

For a couple months now the DVC show podcasts either do not show up in my feed or they show up on Friday or Saturday when they’ve been published on Monday

Recently became curious about DVC. Binged countless episodes and now somehow I feel like an expert. Appreciate your conversations and they have been very helpful!

I’ve been a fan of the Dis Unplugged family of podcasts from day one and this is a great addition to the family. I’ve been a DVC owner longer than Pete, but I still enjoy listening to this podcast to keep up on news and tips and tricks.

I love the information provided in this show. They are always on top of what is new. They make me laugh and stay informed about Disney and DVC. However, they sometimes talk so negative about Disney and DVC that I wonder how much they really want their businesses to succeed. If you live of DVC and Disney, how can you talk so bad about them sometimes! I bought DVC because I believe the product is good, I agree some changes are annoying, but this is business! No company is out there giving things free anymore. The show would be a 5 star show if they stay more positive.

This show is the best! It is so tempting to buy another contract after listening! Thanks Pete and team for the weekly fun!

I’m loving this podcast. I just started listening 2 days ago, and have been binging every episode from the start. I’ve been considering purchasing DVC resale for several years. After our recent trip 2 weeks ago, I am convinced we should do it (just have to convince my spouse). I really value Pete’s opinion on everything Disney related, and it’s so good to hear from the experts he has on the show. I thought I knew everything there was to know about DVC, but have learned so much from these discussions. Here’s hoping I’ll be part of the club some day!

Love episode #108 We are a family of 7 and must say the Grand Floridian is our favorite. I agree that the 3 bedroom at the GF is the best room of any DVC. However we did recently stay in a 3 bedroom at the Riviera and gosh it’s super close behind. We were blown away!! We stayed at Bay Lake over spring break this year and do love with the ease of going back and forth to MK. However something about the Contemporary isn’t as magical as other DVC resorts We love all DVC. Hoping someday the Poly makes 2 bedrooms. We did try the Poly bungalows once. Absolutely beautiful but boat horns aren’t so fun :) As far as selling DVC..I love “DVC Resale Market”. I “might” be closing on a Boulder ridge contract this week! I have bought and sold from them several times Absolutely A++ all around!! Thanks for a great show!! Stephanie

I really like this podcast/show. I love there is a solid show that focuses on DVC. I like their topics and how they are presented. I also like the cast. Pete, Jackie, the DVC resale and back when DVC store was on they were all great. However I do not know what Sean contributes? Almost everything he brings to the table isn’t correct, to the point Pete corrects him constantly. He kind of talks in circles and de-rails or prolongs the conversation. Don’t get me wrong I like Sean and in moving to Orlando he seems more prepared. I just feel like he doesn’t add much to this show.

I love this podcast! The episodes are concise and it teaches you everything you need to know about DVC! My only quarrel is that Jerry can be too salesman/politician. He never has a clear opinion on anything at all

I like the information in this pod about DVC as a prospective DVC member. However, as a person who works with audio, the lack of editing and production value of these podcasts is infuriating. You have long silences, phones vibrating, coughs, uhs and ahhs, and general sloppiness when listening to the show. As a listener, this really takes me out of the experience because now I’m only hearing the imperfections. I even heard them say there is a producer for the show - what exactly is that person doing? Also, stop leaving your vibrating cell phone on the desk/counter/table with the microphone and Pete, GET A STRAW for your drinks. Every single time you pick up your drink with ice, the rattling of ice picks up on the microphone and is very annoying to hear.

I love listening to Pete and his cast. They offer really great insight into the world of Disney and DVC and give their real honest opinions. Even times I disagree with their viewpoint they make it fun being able to compare and contrast our love for Disney with such dedicated fans. Keep up the great work.

This is a fun and insightful podcast and glad you’re doing it. One element about your pros and cons of the Grand Floridian podcast from 12.9.19 was a few hosts mentioned the lack of a walkway to the Magic Kingdom. The walkway being constructed was already in the works for about five months before you did this podcast. When a resale company is sponsoring this podcast, missing the fact that a walkway from the Grand Floridian was already in the works for five months is a pretty big miss.

Thank you so much for the insight to this potential (most likely, soon to be) DVC member. The thoughtful, insightful and more importantly, first-hand knowledge, is helping me understand and get otherwise unaddressed topics not available on the Disney website. This show is a regulars “must do” in my podcast lineup. My commute is brutal and The Dis saves me on a regular basis, but this show in particular is my jam. Highly recommend it for anyone who owns or wants to own DVC and needs info.

I tried really hard to listen to this show. I listened to about 20-30 episodes and I just couldn’t take it anymore. Pete obviously has a very high opinion of himself and can be snarky to the other cohosts. I couldn’t help but chuckle and roll my eyes to myself the few times they were all discussing their points and Jackie said “I won’t even tell you how much I paid for my points”.....no one asks anything about it “Ok, it was $67 per point”, which has happened more than once. I couldn’t help but get a laugh and an eye roll out of that. But finally what lost me on the show was their near constant bashing of Riviera. I just couldn’t take it anymore. Every new episode that came out had some sort of negative remark about Riviera, even though the resort wasn’t even open yet! It was so annoying. I understand not everything has to be positive but come on, let’s wait until the resort is actually open before you all bash it on every episode. Sorry, I really did give this show a try though.

My family lives in southeastern MA along the coast and we love Wilderness Lodge! We own at Copper Creek now. We don’t have a desire to go to Beach Club, just reminds us of home too much lol! The lodge reminds us of northern New England which we love to visit.

I love this show because it is very informative and help people wade through lots of information. I hate it because after listening to it, we decided to buy at Copper Creek. 🤑

It feels like this podcast is just one long advertisement for resale purchases and for the DIS boards. I mean I get it, it's run by the DIS and is sponsored by a resale broker, but the bias is not even subtle. Also, I wish other people had more opportunity to speak - Pete rambles on and on with his personal views that aren't always constructive. Jackie has some nice comments and I'd like to hear from her more, especially because she typically has a more positive view even when she is critical. As I've listened to it more it's turned more into a complaining-fest about how much Disney is ripping people off, and it makes me wonder if the hosts should still be DVC owners if they seem to dislike it so much.
