BigCCatholicSafe for Work, Less Safe for Driving!!If you’re anything like me, you will sometimes laugh so hard you have to close your eyes a little. Clean, best buds style humor and amazing ad reads. Timon’s cool too. Be safe out there Ghosties.

TC4AUWar EagleRelatively new listener and Auburn alum here.. we have a saying about Bama and their bandwagon fans: “I wear my Auburn shirt because I went to Auburn. You wear your Alabama shirt because you went to Walmart.” Love the show and welcome to the Deep South, Jake’s sister and brother-in-law!

CrAzY Catholic TravlerGood Clean FunI got to know Jake through Correct Opinions and then became a Ghostie. It’s such a fun clean podcast and I love their humor and chemistry. I’m going back to listen to all the episodes and love how much Brad loves his wife. These are some great guys and would highly recommend this podcast.

Kyle RohrsPodcast ReplacementI was introduced to Ghostrunners after seeing Jake open for Trey Kennedy in Cincinnati. My wife, then fiancé, and I were leaving the venue and saw Jake outside. At the time we only knew Jake and Brad from Jean Shorts. We stayed around to meet and talk with Jake. While in line someone asked us if we were Ghosties and at the time had no idea what they were talking about. She mentioned that Jake and Brad had a podcast, so we checked it out. The timing couldn’t have been better as the podcast I was regularly listening to concluded right around that same time. Fast forward almost 1 1/2 years later and I haven’t missed an episode since. I’ve loved connecting with other Ghosties in the FB group, and even joined a Dynasty Fantasy Football league with some of them (S/O to Hit It Long Time For Big Daddy). This podcast makes my Monday’s and Wednesday’s more enjoyable as you never know what the boys will talk about on the pod. Jake, Brad, and Timon keep doing what you’re doing as you use your unique platform for Christ’s kingdom.

Keaton PharmDNew GhostieI'm still a somewhat new listener to the Ghost Runners podcast, however as someone who grew up in Springfield and moved to Kansas City about 9 years ago, I really appreciate and relate to what these guys are doing. My wife and I had our first son about a year ago, we became a homeowner not long before that, and so I enjoy hearing how I they have tackled similar situations and especially how intentional of a dad Brad is. I'm encouraged by their boldness in their faith and how that impacts their day-to-day and the relationships they have formed through that. Ghost runners podcast has make working out and my commute that much more enjoyable, and I'm excited for my son to get a bit older so that he can appreciate it as well!

11stepaThe only podcast I would ever reviewI've been listening to ghost runners for a couple years now, finally decided it's time for a review. The way Jake and Brad involve you in their life is awesome, you feel like one of their closest friends, on a first name basis with all of their friends and family. The biggest lesson from this podcast for me is FAMILY. Both Jake and Brad show an immense love for their families. As a parent of three, I KNOW it's not always sunshine, but the way Brad speaks of his home with positivity, always finds wins in even the little minuscule traditions and moments inspires me to do the same with my family. I love hearing Jake's stories of Rachel, and their life they are building together, you can hear the appreciation and love for his wife every time he talks about her. Thank you for your dedication to the pod.. and can't forget Timon. (I want to homeschool because of you, an especially goooood boy.)

Belieber for Life!!!!Mindless in the best wayI usually listen to podcasts to learn something - faith, nutrition, advice and wellness, etc. but sometimes your brain is thinking about too much all the time. It’s easy to veg out with tv or especially social media, but it’s pretty mind numbing and can get boring and feel unrewarding. Ghostrunners is the type of podcast you can listen to and not worry about zoning out. It’s mindless in the best way! You might learn something, but it’s really there for you to laugh and chill out. It’s not hard to follow along with, and I love that it’s clean and they never shy away from saying they go to church!

Allie.Jb100/10 RecommendLove this podcast! I have been listening to it for a couple months now and I can tell Jake and Brad really care about their listeners and wanting to connect with them. It’s so encouraging to hear these guys bringing light to their communities and using their podcast for good. Thanks guys!

M&m1!!!!!!400 episodes in finally time for a reviewThese guys never disappoint, I’ve listened to all the episodes, through the end of college- getting married- our first born- our second- and hopefully baby #3 will also be born on a Monday! I stuck around because they made me laugh. After a few years I’m still laughing but it’s turned into loving their friendship and character- looking up to Brad as a father and Jake as an entrepreneur (we won’t mentioned bondi). Thanks for the weekly laughs and friendship guys!

Madi.burdMy new breast friendsHey TB&J! I’m a relatively new ghostie and an even newer mom to my 3 week old daughter Shiloh (gooood girrrl Shiloh). Y’all have become my new breast friends as I’m constantly listening to y’all while breastfeeding at 3am, pumping at 4am, and changing diapers at 5am. Newborn life is hard but your sense of humor and commentary on life have made this season of life better. I give this podcast a realistic rating of 10 out of 10! Keep it up! 📢Pew pew pew pew 📢

Chick fil a lover #best podBest podcast ever!!Hey Jake and Brad!! Love this podcast!! Definitely the best one out there!! As far as Christian character and good comedy go, I would most definitely recommend this podcast to all my friends and family. I’m starting from episode one and going through all of them. I’m on number 99. Hope this brings y’all back to the older episodes and good memories. Now here’s my real reason for leaving a five star review. My question is, what are any podcast tips, tricks or recommendations because myself and my friend are trying to start a podcast (I’m thirteen). Also, one more question, if y’all could, send me a jingle for my pod and i will play it every episode. If you need some context for the jingle, my name is Judson and the podcast i’m trying to start is about leisure stuff, really anything, kinda like y’all’s pod. Anyway, love the podcast sorry this has no inside jokes in it but thought I’d ask your advice on starting a podcast since obviously y’all have been very very very very successful.

JulieMizzTwinning with BradLong time listener, first time reviewer. Big fan of the pod and recently Brad mentioned two experiences that I have been experiencing too! First, I also read in the sauna and my book keeps falling apart! Luckily it’s always the pages I’ve already turned and read. But no need for a book mark because my current page is the first one when I open the book. And second- I too have cut back drastically on my social media use and love doing the New York Times games app during breakfast now. So basically Brad and I are twins except I’m a single woman with no kids but those are just small details haha. Thanks for all the laughs and keeping me company on my long drives. I’ll end with this- Brad so proud of your health journey - physical and mental. So I’m giving you a Brad like “Good Boyyy.”
-
vmbpassBest podcastI’ve been listening to this podcast for 2 years and am finally all caught up. I couldn’t believe whenever I heard other listeners say they’ve listened to each episode multiple times, but now I’m out of new episodes so I’m starting back at the beginning! It’s so fun to see how the podcast has evolved and how Brad and Jake’s lives have changed. Thanks for all the laughs and for making my time in the car so enjoyable!

DaniParkhurstThis Is Technically My Third ReviewI wrote a really nice review a while back that was read on the podcast. As I continued to listen, I wanted to leave ANOTHER 5 star review that was a little more quirky. Thinking that there was some glitch (Spotify user here) I ERASED my original review to write what I now think was a DUMB, not quirky review. So here I am, a third time, re-writing this. Jake and Brad (and Timon) have done an AMAZING thing with this podcast. They’ve created such a special community with Ghostrunners. They are hilarious, family friendly, godly men who keep me ON MY FEET! I feel like I’m listening to my friends catch me up on their lives every week! Look no further for a clean, Christian, comedy podcast!
-
Wing Wong1There’s no way you’ll regret listeningBeen listening to this podcast for over two years now and Jake Brad and Timon have found a way to consistently bring entertainment and comedy in an awesome way in every episode, totally a 5 star podcast and looking forward to all that’s gonna come this new year!

Becka-GeckoWanted to write this before the 2028 ElectionBEST POD EVER!!! Just started the Best moments of 2024 and can I just say I was already laughing in the first 30 seconds!! I Love listening to y’all (Jake, Brad, and Timon)! Seriously, I listen to this pod every Monday and Wednesday while I’m at work, my co-workers look at me like I’m a mad woman laughing at the voices in my ears. Thanks for always brightening my day!!!!🫡😁🥹🇺🇸

Justin Holt 42Firefighting GhostiesThis podcast is so fun. They once had a segment where they talked about the craziest places that ghosties might have listened to the pod. I figured I would throw mine out there. I was a firefighter for a few years and would always listen to the pod at work. Like while working out or in my bunk room at night. And whenever we would get a call (911 call we had to respond to) I would just keep the pod going on my way there. So there I was sitting in the back of a fire engine with the lights and sirens going off flying through intersections on our way to someone’s emergency and in my ear I would be off in ghostie land… listening to Brad and Jake talk about some nonsense. I think it was a form of therapy for me. Helped me keep myself grounded in a stressful scenario. And of course I would turn it off once we got to the scene lol. This pod is special. Love you guys

Titus A.Chick fil A cup holders explainedBad news Jake, the cup holders have nothing to do with you. In high volume stores, owner/operators are looking at ways to shave seconds off of drive thru times. If you have two drinks instead of two motions handing you both drinks handing you a couple holder saves 1-2 seconds. Silly?? Sure, but if your drive thru does 100 cars an hour those seconds add up. We did it at the store I worked at and it can help because you’d be surprised how long it takes people to organize their drinks. Is there better ways to save time like just having the food ready?? Sure lol but it’s just one easy way some stores try to make things faster. Not saying I agree with it, but that is in fact why they don’t. Love the podcast. Titus

Ghostie on 2ndThe best of 3 worldsI know the phrase is “the best of both worlds” but the title to this review represents the crazy amount of fun had on this podcast when 3 guys in 3 different seasons of life come together and have the most fun while debriefing their week. Family man Brad, newly married Jake, and the-world-is-his-oyster Timon. Thank God that these worlds collided and have provided joy to so many Ghosties over the years.
-
erica__lefeversimply the best…. better than all the rest !This is my first time reviewing any podcast, and that’s because there is no podcast like this one! Only podcast that has me laughing out loud, singing along to the jingle, and listening AS SOON AS every episode drops. Thank you, Jake, Brad, and Timon for the joy you bring to my Mondays and Wednesdays (and the rest of the days that end in y, as I’m still catching up on older episodes!). Grateful to be part of a community like this. 🤠

Serena OrienteThis Podcast Anticipates My NeedsThis morning I had the thought, ‘I know Timon and Brad are the singers of the show, but hearing Jake throw his hat in the vocal arena is always such a treat. I wish we had more of that.’ Well wouldn’t you know it… Jake started this morning’s episode asking Timon for a voice lesson. And boy was it nice. Jesus must like this podcast because the Spirit’s movin!

sphializbethbauchMy 18 year old cousin told me to listenHi Jake, Brad, and Timon! I have been listening to your podcast for almost a year now and figured it was time to leave a much deserved review. I am a 31 year old stay at home mom with 4 children who listened to “Correct Opinions” frequently when I flew out to CA to visit with family last January. I was talking with my cousin Nathan about how we both love Jake and how fun and funny he is to listen to when my cousin asked if I had ever listened to “Ghostrunners” I said no and he then proceeded to spend the next 30 min telling me why I needed to. I gave it a try and have been hooked ever since. I’ve even showed my husband Jake’s wedding video (my husband hates wedding videos) and afterwards he said “that’s the best wedding I’ve ever seen” thank you three for doing what you do. It is so wonderful to hear from friends who love God and value community- You are truly reaching all age demographics. May God bless you and your families

WhitneySimpsonThe Glossary EpisodeI’ve listened for several years now and thoroughly enjoyed today’s recap! One of my favorite episodes is Boost Mobile when Tony calls Jake during the episode. I miss the calls coming in during the episodes. They always got me tickled! Thanks for such a great pod!

mary margaret phillipsTimeliest podcast in KansasIf you’ve read any of the other reviews, you know what top notch content this podcast provides, so I’m going to focus on another aspect of what makes this podcast five stars - it always comes out on time. Rain or shine, summer or winter, holiday or not, at some point in the wee hours of each and every Monday and Wednesday morning, an eight pound four ounce brand new baby episode of Ghostrunners is dropped by the podcast stork on to your phone. Never late, never missing, always dependable. And for that, I thank you. Also I listened to today’s episode after hearing that my grandfather had passed away a few hours earlier. Hearing Jake reflect upon his grandfather’s death was so helpful and really timely. A sad thing to have in common with your podcast host, but still lovely to hear his thoughts as I experienced something similar. Lastly, as a vegan of seven plus years, I finally realized I could gift good ranchers thanks to Brad’s practical gift guide. 16 wahhhguuuubeeeeeef burgers, coming your way for Christmas, in-laws!

JimmeryouBest pod on either side of the Mississippi!Have you been looking for a pod that encourages you to buy American meat and beans roasted on Main Streets? Well this is the right one for you! This pod has become such a great part of my commute to work on Mondays and Wednesdays. It even influenced me to name my son Beau after Brad’s son because of all the fun stories. I feel like Jake is with me always as I smell Diva laundry soap on my clothes. (Not in a creepy way). I tell people the scent is called “Triplett” by Jake. This is a great pod for clean fun and comedy. It’s even a safe place for people who have mallet finger or are closet horse sniffers. Thanks Jake, Brad and Timon for all the great content. I hope to someday make it out to a Ghosty get away or play some pickleball with you guys.

aioforlifeDas wassupppI started listening about 3-4 months ago, and I’ve been HOOKED ever since. I originally found Jake from Correct Opinions, and always thought Jake was hilarious. One day I was looking at the suggested (“sujested”) podcasts and I saw “Ghostrunners”, so I decided to listen. Now I’m currently listening to all the old episodes but still keeping up with the new ones. (I’m only in 2021😭😭) Im going to be sad the day I catch up because I won’t have endless episodes to listen to, but Im hoping to join the Patreon as soon as I can. I introduced the podcast to my dad and sister, and my sister listens every week. I cant say I’ve been a Ghostie since day one, but I’m proud to say I am now!! I’m from the Springfield area so it’s always fun to hear Jakes stories from when he was growing up. By the way if you ever come to the Chick-fil-A on S Glenstone, in springfield, let me know and I will for sure be there!! I was so upset I couldn’t make it to SDC when y’all were there. I unfortunately did not get a season pass this year. I hope you all come back next year!! Love you guys and the pod very much and I hope you keep it going for years to come!! Bye bye

ZachKelleyI had commitment issuesI’ve come to notice a trend in my life where I typically don’t stick with a podcast for longer than a year or so. Maybe it’s because I’m afraid of getting hurt, or I’m just too picky when it comes to finding the perfect pod. Whatever the reason I seem to bail out after several months at most, but the Ghostrunners podcast has made me an honest man. I’m thrilled to announce I’ve made it past the one year mark listening to this podcast every single week. Jake & Brad are genuinely funny, clean-cut guys with a gift for inviting the masses into their circle of friends. This is the first and probably only review I’ll ever write for a podcast because I’ve never met a podcast I felt like I could put a review on and call it my own. Thanks fellas, now I’m finally a committed man, my wife will be so proud! 💪🏻

BenWolvertonA Life Goal That MattersI am leaving this review as a semi-longtime but non-current Ghostie. My brother in law Matthew sent me the Amish Jams episode about 2 years ago and I was hooked as soon as the word Needtobreed came out of your mouths. As a traditionalist, I have since been plowing away at the episodes in chronological order from Amish Jams. At the time - being over 100 episodes behind - the task felt daunting and borderline unfathomable. I was making some mild headway (for some time) and then you started releasing 2 episodes a week…While this meant double the joy it also meant I had to up my proverbial catch up game. No messing around anymore. So for the past 2 years it has been a 2 steps forward 1 step back scenario, absolutely CHURNING through the episodes like my life depends on it. And though I am still about 5 months behind (how, I don’t know), I have hope that I will one day be current. And on that day I will miss the fact that I don’t have endless hours of new Ghostrunners to listen to, brightening my day, making road trips bearable, almost dropping barbells on my face mid-bench from some stupid unexpected joke that made me laugh, or bonding about Ghostrunners with my brother in law at our family get togethers. But until that day, we have some work to do. Thanks for being a podcast that has given the last few years of my life a fun trivial goal.

Nomi LIt’s a small worldSo I actually found this podcast indirectly because I know the Emchs through Greenleaf! When Timon started mentioning “the podcast”, I’m sorry to say my general thoughts were that “oh he and Grayden probably just made a show where they could goof off for an hour” and gave it no further thought. Ironically, around that time the algorithms introduced me to Jean Shorts, and from there I found Ghostrunners. You can imagine my double take when I saw Timon’s name in one of the episode titles 😂 turns out it’s a small world! Since then, this podcast has helped me through more than one tough day. I really appreciate the humor and y’all’s solid love for the Lord. Keep up the good work with the relatable and funny content!! Also - I did a lot of choir stuff with Timon last year and can confirm his singing is just as good in person :)

S.Steph.My very first review? In November of 2023 I saw the correct opinions clip about people with blue hair… classic. I did a deep dive on C.O. since I didn’t know that existed, discovered Jake his co-host and found Ghostrunners. Started listening and worked my way backwards to July of 2023 and then realized this isn’t gunna work. I need to start from the beginning. So I went all the way back to episode one. Keeping up with regular Monday and Wednesday episodes as I went along and as of today I have listened to every single episode of Ghostrunners. Feels like I can now officially call myself a Ghostie. Listening has been so much fun, it felt like I had insider trading into what God had for your lives like the blessing of more kids, home births, becoming neighbors with Brad and Kathryn, marrying Rachel etc. I now get all the inside jokes and why so many people love y’all, and your families. A lot has happened for my family in the last year (my two little boys are finally adopted!!) and as many have said before it’s been a gift to listen to your podcast through it all. Being a foster parents lends itself to many stressful situations that could use a great distraction and I’m so glad this has been it. I know God has wonderful things ahead for all of you and I’m glad to be along for the ride.

Herr-Mann!Feeling Spookyy!Just like those 12ft tall skeletons in the suburbs I am DEAD! “He’s right behind me isn’t he..” Each week you have me laughing, crying (usually happy tears) or so full of joy and love. 💕 I’m not an OG ghostie sadly but the worse part is that I could have been! Back in early 2020 I heard young Scallywag Jake on Trey’s podcast, then soon found big daddy (or should I say string bean😉) on this little podcast not about ghosts, but a lot about football! The first episode I listened to was alllll about it, so I was like “eh, not my Amish jam” and moved on. I wish I could turn back time and give it another shot! Even though I’m just a young babe ghostie (a little over a year) I feel like I’ve been friends with you guys forever now ❤️ I’m so thankful that I have the privilege to listen to two besties (and Timon) making the most out of everyday life in a Godly, yet humorous way. I could say so much more on what this pod means to me, but I’ll just leave it with thangue💕 Sincerely, Haley Herrmann

Luke James WeberGhost runners Podcast ReviewEasy 5 star review! This is the best podcast I’ve ever listened too. My cousins told me about this podcast about a year and a half ago and I haven’t stopped listening since. Jake and Brad are hilarious and make me look forward to Mondays and Wednesdays. Appreciate you guys and keep up the good work! Also Timon is the goat

e.wischOnly listener in the CongoI don’t want to make any assumptions, but I think I’m your only listener in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, possibly in all of Africa. So, that’s why you won’t be seeing me at any of your events. (Y’all are fun and all, but not an international plane tickets worth.) Anyways, you guys have brought so much joy into my life, and when things get tough living overseas (I’m originally from Utah) you guys bring me so much joy! Thanks for doing all that you do, I appreciate y’all!

Ghostie18T h e b e s tThis podcast is the best! I started listening a year ago I love it. The podcast is like the office, you can listen back several times and it never gets old and still makes you laugh. I’m going back through all the episodes for the 2nd time while staying caught up. I work at a ranch and you guys keep me company while I’m fixing fences, taking care of the horses, or even riding. Sometimes I’ll get through 3 or 4 episodes a day. Now time for actual reason for my review… I feel like I have to give credit to you guys for influencing my sense of humor. I find myself using the same jokes you guys do on the podcast. Here are some examples: Saying “not really” or “kind of” when someone asks a question with just a yes or no answer like “Have you seen this movie?”. I started doing this around my family and they laugh every time. Back in 2020 I think, Jake sent this DM to a girl: “That’s really nice of you to offer, but it’s not about the recognition. You can name the children’s hospital after someone else. Please, I insist. If anything, name it after one of the 15 kids I saved from the wreckage” I thought it was so funny and I texted it to some random people in my contacts I haven’t texted in months or years. Yelling “Hey mom…” like Brad does, and also calling people Big Daddy Also back in 2020, Jake started an episode with “Anyways all that to say, long story short, there’s a reason we domesticate dogs now…” and then you guys went into the opening jingle. I also thought that was funny and now when there’s a silence I’ll say that or something like that. Again, it always gets a laugh My family always ask where I get all this stuff from and I always say it’s from this podcast and give you guys credit. I try and get people to listen cause I know they’ll enjoy it as much as I do. This podcast is seriously the best and the only one I listen to. Anyways, sorry for the long review. Keep doing what you’re doing, you guys are the best.

almost17Let em review and watchI love this podcast. My brother (shoutout to Asher having a review of the week on the Toothpaste and Topeka ep.) and I are huge fans that love to talk and laugh about the episodes we listen to. I am a college QB and its so nice to have a break in my day to catch up with what feel like friends and to laugh at the most random stuff. Give them a listen, any episode is worth a listen.

MaggieM1001Best Podcast EVER!Brad, Jake, and Timon- Thank you so much for what you are doing with this podcast. I have been listening for about two years now and have enjoyed every single episode. I went back and listened to all the old episodes last year (now if I go and listen to an old one I will only listen to ones with Timon). I am a freshman in college and I live and go to college in Western NC. Right now we are reeling from the effects and devastation of Hurricane Helene. Some parts of the hardest hit areas are still without power and have been for a week and a half. My college was evacuated and so my sense of normalcy has been thrown out the window. My family farms and we have an agritourism farm which has had to close for the time being even though this is our peak season. Through this time there has been a lot of unknowns and uncertainty but I am so glad I have had enough cell service on Mondays and Wednesdays to listen to Ghostrunners. It has been one of the few constants in this crazy time. Thank you so much for giving me a way to laugh in spite of all the destruction around me. You guys have truly made an incredible impact on my life and have given me something to look forward to in my weeks. Please never stop doing what you’re doing! -Maggie

BrandanimalPartner in all of life’s mundane tasksLove this podcast for all the laughs and uplifting conversation! You both remind me of hilarious people I’ve known in my life, and somehow manage to discuss opinions my husband has buried deep down inside that only come out when we listen. My only poultry… Brad mentioned getting an amazing washer. I’m in the market for a banging washer. Not going to share with us?!

PKfTNPeanut ButterUntil I heard Jake do it, I thought I was the only one who stirred their peanut butter really good to get it creamy and airy before spreading it. Biggest regret this year was not going to Branson, sounded like a blast. Not the longest listener, but almost going on a year, love what y'all put out every week. It cheers me up when my days are running into one another.

HunnodSometimes there’s just not enough stars …First of all, I would give anything to hear either Jake or Brad read my title in their best Forrest Gump voice. ;) Where do I begin? I’ve been meaning to write a 5 star review for quite some time now. I am a Gen-X OB nurse/lactation consultant and am blessed to have been married to my high school sweetheart for 28 years. We are life long Nebraskans and watching our 4 kids grow up to be amazing young adults has been the joy of my life. I stumbled upon your podcast back in 2022 after my therapist recommended that I find a way to inject more humor into my day. Listening to the news constantly on my commute to work and at home was increasing the anxiety and depression that I was experiencing during my years of brain surgery recovery. The brainstem tumor I had removed in 2016 was benign, but life threatening, and caused a lot of physical deficits that I had slowly recovered from or learned to live with. Although I had overcome a lot, it was apparent that my focus on physical recovery had caused me to neglect my spiritual, mental

David_Palmeri6 Star ReviewHowdy fellas, Long time ghosty here, and fellow KC native. I really enjoy listening to the podcast on my way to work. I love the positive clean content with mentions of the Chiefs and Kansas City. The community you have built is truly inspiring and I love to see the way you keep Christ as the center of all of your success. Jake reminds me of how important it is to keep humor in a marriage and I hope to take away half of the dad wisdom that Brad has when my time comes to be a dad. Question: My wife and I currently own a house and I have a couple close college friends that own each of the houses to the right and left of us. we are in our mid 20s. Given the unique circumstances of being good friends and neighbors, what are some things we should be taking advantage of? Should we start some fun business? Should we start farming/homesteading? Any fun ideas?
