So glad to hear you are all back, safe and sober. I love hearing the true, unfiltered stories from you and your guests. They are often dark yet uplifting and as shocking as some of the events are I find myself laughing at the ridiculous predicaments your guests find themselves in. the mileage people put in during their addiction without a car blows my mind. Hollywood to Corona to Covina back to Orange County it’s crazy the distances you all travel. Thanks again for sharing your experiences! Keep them coming!

I’ve listened to every episode, now I’m listening to them all again. Love Danny and Keith, their stories are crazy. Everyone’s stories are crazy! It’s a great group of guys. The guests are honest and raw, which I respect. Keep it up!

This is truly my most favorite podcast I’ve ever listened to. So relatable and it doesn’t shove recovery down your throat like a lot of other addiction podcasts. I need you guys to come back and make more episodes ASAP!

Kieth’s laugh sounds like that little dinosaur from Jurassic park that spits venom… great show, but I swear he leans into the mic to screech laugh and it drives me nuts.

Found this show a while back via Marc Marin’s interview with Keith. Not an addict, but it runs in my family so I’ve always kept it pretty mellow. Even so, I love these stories and the humor they use to process the absurdity of life. Love Lawrence. Really like the Reno, Keith, Danny era. Bobby from Philly is the best, please bring him back, seems like he’d have more stories.

This is a special one for sure. You don’t get much content like this, this raw but also this well done. Keith, Reno, Lawrence, Danny, and everyone else, really appreciate what you guys do. It’s a great reminder that when you see someone indigent and down and out, there is a real person inside there. It might be someone who you would be glad to talk to, someone who is intelligent and funny, someone you would be friends with. It’s amazing to hear people who have been at the absolute bottom find some redemption. And every episode cracks me up. Humor and perspective are really the keys to this whole thing (life).

I cannot wait for new episodes to drop!! It’s been toooo long!!

Going through tough times; podcasts have been helpful, getting through the days. -It’s all bad, hands down, best stories & most consistently interesting guests, ..& finally got some dxm tales. And, (although no one, anywhere, is competing for my favor), I get way more out of these guys than Dopey.

Y’all great but please fix your sound problems. It’s like a tv show without someone that knows how to work a camera.

Huge fan, but LAURENCE interrupts and doesn’t let guests finish their thoughts, it ruins the laid back vibe having him on edge all the time. He asks great questions, btw. But it needs to be dealt with pronto.

I enjoy listening, it’s real stories. Similar to dopey story wise but not similar. However, and it doesn’t deter me from listening, couple times had to given it a break, but some serious audio issues going on. Endearing for the most part sometimes drives me insane.

What happened to anonymity? Pretty uncool to say someone’s full name for a laugh on your podcast.

Some episodes are gems, but others not so much. Annie Hardy was funny, until you realize what an absolute lunatic she is. Kinda bummed that they had her on again. It’s still way better than the more well known podcast, Dopey.

Lived in Tucson and Phoenix growing up. Completely forgot about “Christmas buds”. Took me way back. Either way, what a fantastic guest. Love the show. Peace out

Love podcast! When I start feeling like a lunatic because of my own personal history I listen and realize I am not the only one and I smile and realize life is so much better now.

Started listening a little over a year ago, and I enjoy every episode I listen to. Other than jail time and rehabs/detoxes, I was an active dope fiend for roughly a decade. And although I do still drink, I still hang out with friends from my times in recovery because they have been where I have been. I get the same feeling when I listen to this and I grateful that you all continue to do this show despite the stresses the world has brought over the past year. I hope you all are well. Heard of the pod while listening to dopey. I love recovery and drug related podcast and have been listening for almost 5 years, can’t believe it took me this long to find this one. Not much recovery talk but man are the stories epic. Anyone that had any serious time using can definitely relate. Not for the faint of heart or anyone not to solidified in their sobriety, but if you can stomach the stories you will be greatly entertained.

I’m only 3 episodes in, and I already know I won’t be sleeping tonight :)))))

I’m a recovering addict & alcoholic, your podcast has really helped keep me going much more than the standard recovery podcasts, love the war stories, love the way you all interact with each other and the guests, feel like I know you, it’s really comforting to hear your banter, when the new episode drop it’s a highlight of my week, rarely disappointed (most recent episode 60 was pretty lame, one of a few I couldn’t finish), my favorite episodes are probably #53 with the guy from Oz (more international guests please!) and #57? with Swordy(?) (more anarchist guest please!), but I’ve loved most of the others, and despite the emphasis on war stories there’s usually a message of recovery that helps to keep me going while also being entertained. Don’t shy away from the recovery aspects! Finally, were you inspired by Dopey Podcast at all? You two should team up. Very similar and both great. Love ya’ll and only hope you can increase the frequency of new shows — my addict speaking. Stay safe and keep it coming xoxoxo

First time I’ve listened to a drug podcast from a perspective super similar to mine. I guess it’s the first time I’ve listened to a podcast about drugs at all. I always imagined that a podcast revolving around drugs would sound off, for lack of a better word, now that I’m sober. This doesn’t sound weird and off, or even tired, at all. Good stuff.

I love this podcast. Pro tip for listeners: If possible have a map of Southern CA handy for enhanced listening to follow along with some epic pharmaceutically inspired adventure stories.
