Ukubabe41Infinite wisdomVictoria’s depth of wisdom and heart is a gift. I’ve learned so much and feel confident because her knowledge comes from a lot of life experience, doing the work both for herself and with others for many years, and she has an understanding of the nervous system and the more “sciencey” aspects of healing that I feel is rare and special.

Kansas55There are gems in each episodeVictoria’s areas of expertise layer and complement each other. After listening to a dozen or more episodes I appreciate the blend of science, anecdote, and actionable suggestions, served up with effervescence and fuzzies. She is warm, human, and compassionate. I feel seen, heard and held, a not inconsequential impact from a pod! Thanks, Victoria and team!

Moriah ShayeSoooo gratefulVictoria Albina is one of our greatest gifts and guides. I feel like this is all I’ve been given through all my communities and experiences yet trauma and this society still really did a number on me. I can’t believe how much she gets me, exactly what I need right now, exactly what we all need, especially for givers, highly sensitive beings, empaths and healers. I truly found her content and her guidance at the perfect time. It’s so helpful, so supportive and so loving and I want to be just like her for others!!!

Moderately bendable KateChanged my lifeI love this show. It has absolutely changed my life. Until I was 30, I lived without realizing I did so with codependent, people-pleasing habits that made me miserable. This podcast helped me leave a bad relationship, find a better job, and build myself up until I could identify and desire a good relationship - and eventually have one. I’m still building a better relationship with myself, and Victoria is my favorite guide through that journey.

melodyuyuExceptionally insightful, literally life changing, and palpably comfortingI first discovered Feminist Wellness in the early days of the pandemic (and immediately caught up on all the episodes), and I can honestly say that this show has walked with me through so many different seasons of life, always being a light for the path. I don’t know Victoria personally, yet I feel like she is one of my dearest friends and a mentor who empowered me to recognize and live the life my heart desires. I wish Feminist Wellness on everyone.

wonderwanderheck yessuch a wealth of goodness - weaving important and imperative concepts with genuine knowledge, care, and the right dose of goofy realness. i find myself revisiting certain episodes to re-absorb. episodes get right into it and are not too long, which i appreciate.
-
HLWoodletGood mental/emotional wellness adviceThis show is really helpful for anyone who is trying to recover from self-abandonment / compulsive helping / overcompensating in relationships.
-
Kells BonesLife changingI appreciate this free knowledge! Thank you so much, Vic! I have listened to a few episodes upwards of four times to wrap my head around the concepts. I hope to give back to humans in the same magnitude such as this one day 🥰
-
bigswellSo funny and lovingI love Victoria’s sunshiny yet no nonsense way of laying out realities of good mental hygiene. The mom I wished I’d had. She’s a wonderful adjunct to therapy for those of us on the healing path. Really grateful I found her!

-
dementor2008So good!Victoria is so good at explaining complex ideas about our bodies, minds, and souls! I discovered her when I googled “functional freeze”, and I have since gone back to the beginning and started listening to the episodes in order. So, so, so good! I am almost 50, have been in and out of therapy for over 20 years, read all the books, and tried all the things. The part I was missing was how the body plays into it all! Thank you, Victoria, for putting this good work out into the world!
-
JulieCW7677Great podcast! This podcast keeps me sane! Highly recommend!
-
Ruth_RuthLife ChangingVictoria’s work has changed my life for the better. As a relatively new listener who has yet to deep dive into the archives, I’ve already gained tools that have helped me shift patterns in how I communicate in my most central relationships—including the one with myself.
-
AmysownGood content, but sounds like a dramatic poetry readingI like the very relatable topics, but it sounds like I’m being read an essay that was prepared and now is being performed.
-
TatianaSDA MUST LISTENEvery episode teaches me about my codependent, perfectionism, people pleasing actions that have caused me to be exhausted and resentful. If you are ready to put yourself FIRST (yikes), then please listen. I went back all the way to the beginning episodes and am so thankful to Victoria for being who she is - I love the science behind it all! She is an amazing force of science-nerd-witch-power!
-
Chey.RodGet ready to have your life changedVictoria’s podcast episodes have helped me put words to experiences I didn’t know how to explain to others, and release a lot of the fears and shame I had around having those experiences and feeling like something was wrong with me. After a single episode on functional freeze, I was a hooked listener. Every episode leaves me more educated about my body and empowered on how to better care for it than before - what more could you ask for from a wellness podcast? Though I have an advanced research background, I love the way Victoria breaks concepts down in ways that are easy for anyone to understand, AND incorporates somatic work into her episodes. She understands the ways her content can have an impact on her listeners, and provides active care while sharing the information because of that. I would highly recommend taking one of her free Polyvagal Theory workshops when she offers them - they are mind blowing! I love Victoria’s work so much that I applied to her Anchored program. Fingers crossed I am accepted! This work has already changed my life that I think I will leave the program a completely different and more healed person.
