Bourbon Lens is the podcast for every whiskey drinker. During this project, we look to explore the whiskey and bourbon industry, learn more about our favorite spirit, and interview industry insiders, makers, entrepreneurs, and business people. We welcome you on this journey with us. Bourbon Lens was founded by Jake and Scott from Louisville, Kentucky. We have grown our appreciation for Kentucky’s native spirit and look to learn all that we can about every type of whiskey. We welcome you to pour a glass of whiskey and join us. We are always looking for show topics, discussion starters, and new whiskies to try. Contact us on social media or send us an email to: Info@BourbonLens.com with ideas, comments, or questions.

    Super fun podcast!
The podcast itself is informative and they have great interviews. I’ve been introduced to so many different brands and learned a lot about bourbon and other American whiskey by listening. The real amazing part is the community that goes along with the podcast. If you want to get involved further they make is so easy and approachable! I’ve recommended this podcast to people in real life so I may as well do it here too! If you like whiskey this podcast is a great listen!

Great Content, It’ll Expand Your Horizons!
The interviews are thoughtful and insightful, and the content is great for both beginners and enthusiasts alike! I don’t have much time to listen to podcasts, but when I do, this is the number one option in my book!

Best American whiskey podcast out there
The best conversations with distilleries I’ve ever heard. The Dads Hat and Kings County interviews are both superb.

    Wright Thompson
You guys did a great show with Wright Thompson, discussing his book “Pappyland.” I have a new appreciation and respect for Kentucky bourbon…distillers & drinkers!

    Fantastic podcast! 🥃
This is no doubt one of the best American whiskey podcasts. They do a great job at talking about smaller brands and distilleries that you might not yet know about. They do excellent interviews with their guests… and the hosts have a great palate. I find that we seem to feel the same about most whiskeys they feature. I listen on my commute every week. 🥃

    Great for whiskey lovers
Really enjoy listening to these guys talk to others in the industry and share their tasting notes as well. I listen to several bourbon/whiskey themed podcasts and this is one of the best! Cheers!

Top to Bottom a great podcast
Whether you are new to whiskey or not this podcast won’t disappoint. It keeps the knowledge acquisition attainable and stays true to its concept of being about whiskey. Industry news, honest reviews and the occasional general banter.

    Like drinking with old buddies
I appreciate the down you earth feel from the hosts. They weave in and out of conversations like you would while you are out with friends. This isn’t to say they drift off topic, but the feel of the podcast is loose while still being informative and entertaining. A great listen for the enthusiast with a collection of bottles, or someone just starting to see what it’s all about.

Chill podcast. Great intro to bourbon.
I started listening to this podcast as an introduction to bourbon. The hosts feel like family. The conversations are warm and comfortable. Whether you know a lot or a little about bourbon, it welcomes you into the show, and it’s the perfect way to end the day and discover new labels.

One of the Best Bourbon Podcasts
The Bourbon Lens is a must listen every week. Michael, Scott, and Jake are super relatable and really knowledgeable about Bourbon and all things whiskey. They make whiskey approachable for those that are just starting their journey and they are also highly entertaining for those that are further along in their whiskey experience. Download every episode and spend some time learning more about whiskey and the interesting people that are making it!

    I’m still learning
This podcast is now the first one I listen to on Monday mornings. I really have to thank these gents for opening up my bourbon senses. As a traditional Scotch and Irish whiskey drinker, bourbon wasn’t a top choice for me. But I’ve listened to this podcast from the beginning, and they’ve converted me. I’m especially grateful for the advice on distillery tours during a recent Louisville visit. I’m no bourbon expert by any means, but I’ve really enjoyed learning about it. I highly recommend this podcast.

Once you listen, you will understand.
Coming from a wife of a very passionate bourbon enthusiast I used to know nothing about bourbon. I love this podcast. It has seriously taught me so much but it is also easy to listen to. Some of the other podcasts are very male directed but this one is not. If you’re a female wanting to learn a little bit more about this bourbon world. Give this podcast a listen!

    Sarcastically hilarious and informative
These dudes are hilarious. Weather it’s the sarcasm, the almost dying from exercise, or the salty response to a bracket, these dudes are great. Give her a listen. You won’t regret it!
  • Thirst and Goal Podcast
    Great Show!
Four guys from Kentucky do a downright awseome job with this show. Highly recommend.
  • Shamu_afterlife
Podcast is just like young juice
To me the podcast is just like young whiskey. It looks like it has potential. There are some bad qualities but I hope more time in the barrel will work them out. Way too many ums and ahs, and the dead air drives me crazy. They’re just 10 episodes in so that like 6month old whiskey...Hopefully the post production will get a little better and they will learn a little from their mistakes and the mistakes you see in other podcasts. I don’t want this to sound negative overall though. These are guys that aren’t absolute whiskey geeks, they’re not making a living from this so I plan on continuing to listen.
