    Great podcast with captivating stories
I love this podcast! I highly recommedn it to everyone, especially for those who have been in the USCG. As a former Coastie (BM2) myself, I really enjoy hearing all of the different adventures, rescues and other experiences that my fellow servicemembers have had. While the stories are all unique in their own way, the common thread acroos them is just how much people who join the U.S. Coast Guard are wliing to do to help others.

God bless and keep the brave men and women of the United States Coast Guard. All are heroes.
Thank you for sharing the stories of those who risk their lives to save others. All of each boat station and aviation station perform admirably at all times.

It’s Like Being In The Coast Guard Again
Excellent podcast! It’s great to hear Coasties talking about their careers and exploits. C.G. personnel have a lot of unique experiences that no one else will ever understand unless they listen to this podcast.

Love the podcast. Solid sea stories. Lots of sea stories out there. Hope to hear more!
  • The Captain's Proud Daughter
Episode 55, My Dad, Capt Bud Buechler
This was my first time hearing ALL the details of the Haitian Boat Incident. I knew some details but he didn’t share them all with my sister, brother and me. Thank you for sharing this story. He’s made our family proud, but as he was fond of saying he was just a simple sailor trying trying to make a living. He was fond of his sailors and always proud of their success. Over the years I have heard how much people loved working with and for him. When his personal shined that was mattered. Thank you for sharing his story. I am proud to be a USCG daughter.

    One of a Kind
You can tell the hosts are passionate about digging down and extracting the lessons learned from the guests, and not just bantering like other podcasts. Lessons learned, informative fun stories to fill your commute to work 🤙🏼🇺🇸⚓️

Great but Sound Quality is Poor
The podcast is great but suffers from overmodulation and unequal participant volume levels.

Great stories of the smallest service!
These stories are the untold truth of America’s usually forgotten service. Huge respect to all the guardians who answer the call on people’s worst day, to turn that around.

    New favorite podcast!
The CG is a small service with incredible stories, but unfortunately very few of these stories get told or recorded in a public forum. I love hearing these guests speak - people that are famous within the service that I’ve only heard tales of are now brought to us on a podcast. I’m learning so much about the service I’ve been in for years, and can’t wait for each new episode. Keep it up guys, you’re recording priceless history!

    Can't Get Enough
I love this podcast! I've been looking into joining the Coast Guard and this podcast has been very helpful in giving me a look into actual Coast Guard missions and cases. I listen to an episode every morning during my morning commute.

    Fantastic Podcast!
As a 4 year USCG veteran who served after 9-11 it's nice to hear very relevant and historical CG info straight from the people who were/are out there being Semper Paratus. Besides the requisite lifesaving stories, dangerous events, this podcast also isn't afraid in addressing difficult subjects like PTSD, veteran suicide, sexual assault, and toxic leadership. One day hopefully, I can tell my own story. The only gripe I have with the podcast is sometimes the audio between host and guests can be very uneven or include background audio/artifacts.

    “Train like you fight”
Great Job! I was the shop Chief back then and couldn’t have ask for a better group of guys. The type of personality you need to be a Swimmer can make an interesting shop dynamic. For example any type of competition with people who refuse to loose. Yikes! Great job on the Pod Cast I am definitely a fan.

    About time!
Found this podcast by accident a couple of months ago and since then have been a loyal listener. Awesome stories and more importantly GREAT lessons! About time someone is giving a voice to the forgotten service..remember the unoffical motto...Simply Forgot Us. Keep up the strong work and full speed ahead!

    Great stories, terrible sound quality
You guys are doing a great job with the guests. Stories have been a lot of fun, hope to see more of a lateral from stories to lessons learned to really round it out. Would be 5 star rating but the sound quality is really really bad, hopefully you guys can get that worked out and I can bump up the rating.

    Sound quality
Tried to listen to episode 9. The difference in volume between the host and the guests + the tinny sound of the speaker phone, made it unbearable.
