You two have done such an incredible job all the way through and I’m crushed you’ve reached the end of the series. Peep show has been my favorite comedy for many years and I love the studied, intellectual but comedic analysis you’ve provided it. As an American who spent multiple childhood years in England, I wondered if you might next take on Succession? I hear Jesse, peep show characters, and your analysis all in my head as I work to catch up on this major HBO series- you’d be great at it!!!

These 2 do an incredible job analyzing a sitcom that I feel is only matched by arrested development. I love how much thought they put into their work; it swings from hilarious to speaking deeply to the human condition. A show as brilliantly written and acted deserves a podcast of this quality- well done, you! I will continue my efforts to recruit American viewers and listeners!

Excellent, perfectly produced, in-depth critique and review of the television show Peep Show. Rob and Tom create a relaxed and joyful atmosphere as they discuss each episode and provide bonus thoughtful interviews with the writers and actors from Peep Show. For avid fans and newcomers alike.

The guys say “sort of” in just about every sentence which gets annoying but the content is good!

I LOVE Peep Show. None of my friends have seen the show so it’s fun to hear other perspectives on the episodes. I’m only on series 3 of the podcast and I like it so far but it’s super annoying the amount of times Rob cuts off Tom mid sentence. Will keep listening though.

Very enjoyable. Thanks to Tom and Rob for getting after these weekly deep dives. I’ve come to appreciate the show in a new light owing to their attention and excitement of the various series. My interest in Peep Show has always been the depravity and agonizing/hilarious long form debasement of Mark and Jez; generally at their own hands through their timidity, entitlement, cowardice, etc. One of the remarkable things about a show as well written and considered as Peep Show is that it appears to stand up to multiple readings. Many of the points, perspectives of the hosts are not my own, though it is a pleasure to listen in. As an American listener/viewer I appreciate the clarifications regarding specific references to British culture, etc. Looking forward to this in future, but my favorite line of the show, mainly for its delivery by Joseph/Johnson, has got to be “Up on the South Downs, haversack full of Becks... That’s the dream, ain’t it?” Big ups from New Mexico

I was surprised that this seems to be the only peep show podcast out there. This one is good; the hosts clearly know and love the show. It doesn’t go into production notes or background info, but you can’t have everything. Also one of the hosts dislikes all the female characters for some reason. He’s annoyed by Nancy being flighty, April being weird, and Sophie for dating both Mark and Jeff. He doesn’t seem to take it as personally when any of the male characters are obnoxious or inconsistent. Weird!

Chicago, Illinois, 🇺🇸 based Peep Show fan. One thing I wish I had was more people in my life that I could talk to Peep Show about. That is where the value of this podcast lies. This is like an audio book club for one of the best television shows of all time. Listening to these recaps makes me appreciate this show even more & makes me want to rewatch the show.

I enjoy that they not only go through each episode, but also that they do character bios and interviews with cast members. Another American listener. I’ve devoured Peep Show for years and I love your attention to detail and spirited discussions about the episodes. Format of the show is great (I’m killing it on the quizzes) and I’m beyond excited for the Alan Johnson episode. Genius actor and character. One single, tiny suggestion? I listen to the show in my car on long drives to work and I’m constantly adjusting the volume - the new audio is fantastic, but when you guys laugh, it’s super loud(!!). Maybe back off mic a bit? As an American I don’t have many friends to talk Peep Show with, but this is such an amazing podcast. I listen to it multiple times, the hosts are funny and warm and slice in audio from the show so it feels like you are rewatching it alongside them. Keep up the great work gents!

You guys have really improved the sound quality lately. I like the content, it’s just an hour or so of two guys going bit by bit through an episode and explaining themes or plot points. It sounds like you’d be better off watching the episode again but they get into some interesting things like camera work, line delivery, recurring motifs, and so on. It’s a solid thing to have on when you’re walking or driving, a bit like watching an episode of peep show on the go

A really enjoyable podcast by two fans, reviewing every episode of one of the funniest shows of all time. Highly recommended.

Seriously, I appreciate you guys discussing prep show. As an American in the south a lot of the British jargon goes over my head but I love it anyways. I love the audio clips in each ep. you guys are doing amazing. Have you thought about starting an Instagram page or twitter to answer questions...keep it up fellas.
