    What?
Ok, I’m a beginner. I know how to greet someone and count to ten. The first lesson was incredibly confusing. Then the second lesson I spend half of it listening to Spanish that is a little different and then told to go to the website for a transcript. This is the worst learning experience I’ve had since high school. I’m glad I didn’t give you any money.

    Motivational!
I have been wanting to learn and speak Spanish for decades. This podcast has lit a fire in me that will not go out. Listening to real life conversations from people that I can relate to and how they have made progress in their language journey. I have signed up with Spanish Con Salsa and so happy that I did! Thank you Tamara! William C

    Full of ads
Some episodes are chalked full of advertisements. Really challenging to sift thru episodes to find the ones containing useful instruction.

Episode 147.5 is the truth 🙌🏾
I just returned from a trip visiting my language partner in Cali, Colombia 🇨🇴. I also ventured into the city via Uber and by foot and used a lot of these conversation responses during my 7 days. Great and valuable episode like many on this podcast 👏🏾

    Buenísimo
This podcast has really kept me motivated and has given me great ideas to improve my Spanish. Not to be overly dramatic, but it actually changed my life by recommending a language-exchange app. I met a great friend from Argentina through the app and we’ve been talking every day in Spanish and English for a year now. ¡Muchísimas gracias!

    Better late than never
64 and trying to stay neurologically sharp. Crosswords and returning to the Latin of my youth we’re not doing it. Started messing around with Spanish than discovered this podcast two years after it started but I’m going to catch up. I love the approach I am it’s giving me a goal-toChief enough fluency to travel and enjoy a language and culture I’ve always admired from a far. Thank you for your effortsAnd passion for this. PS I don’t think I had heard Despacito until I picked this up couple weeks ago forgive me.

Me encanta Learn Spanish Con Salsa
I found learn Spanish con salsa at the right time. It combined my love of Spanish music, dancing and my big desire to learn the Spanish language. Tamara includes relevant and engaging topics with various speakers. I love how each topic provides a spotlight into the Spanish culture and various techniques to keep the ‘learning embers’ burning.

    Love this podcast
I found this podcast just a few weeks ago and have been binging! I love this approach to learning Spanish and really enjoy the interviews. I combine my study time with some lessons on the same-named website, and pair my podcast time with this, Espanolistas, and TED in Spanish. I also have picked up casually listening to some of the ones Tamara talks about in her podcast. I’m an intermediate learner so like to couple with content in just Spanish. That being said, I absolutely love the interview portions in Spanish. If you’re a serious language learner, this podcast is a must!!!

    Love Spanish Con Salsa
I discovered the Spanish Con Salsa podcast while listening to another show that I followed to help with my Spanish language studies. It caught my attention because I absolutely love music and had been using it to help in learning. The show is filled with tips to help overcome the obstacles that come with learning a new language. It’s also motivating to hear stories from others and how they have done it. Of course, listening to the podcast made me sign up for the course which has been great! Love Spanish Con Salsa ❤️

    Get over the language hump
I’ve been listening to this podcast for just over a year. I decided to invest in myself and become part of the Spanish Con Salsa community when I realized that Tamara and her team (shout out to Kesia) had just what I needed to get over my insecurities with speaking Spanish in public. I really appreciate the consistent positive, yet persuasive, encouragement, especially when I’ve not been as disciplined as I should be with my language practice. This podcast is a great place to start your Spanish journey, or continue to take it to the next level.

One of the things I had been struggling with in learning Spanish was listening. I am so glad I learned about Spanish Con Salsa! I like the variety of content and tips. Perfect
The tone and cadence of this podcaster is what I’ve been looking for. There are many out there but few understand the importance of articulation and consistent cadence. This podcast should be 5 stars. Apparently there is a bhole in the mix.

    Just What I Wanted
One reason for wanting to learn a language is to get a deeper understanding of the culture: whatever that might be. Well, guess what? Spanish Con Salsa’s got it! It’s the perfect match for my love of salsa music and my motivation for learning the language.

    Fun Way to Learn Spanish
This might be a duplicate post. Thank you, Tamara, for a great podcast. It is a great way to learn how natives speak Spanish and for music lovers it is a plus. We also get introduced to other Spanish speakers in the community from different countries. I think its a great addition to Spanish learning!

    Love this podcast!
Thank you Tamara for inspiring me to keep learning. Sometimes I get a little discouraged, but you give me hope that I can learn Spanish. I really enjoy your podcasts and wisdom!

    Simple and effective!
Episodes 62 & 52 were the first ones I listened to of this podcast. Highly recommend checking those out! I like the variety of lengths in the podcasts episodes. And I love that some episodes are both in English and Spanish!

    Enjoyable Podcast
As a beginner to Spanish, I’m on the lookout for fun content that allows me to digest the language differently than from a textbook. I love that this podcast explores music of different latin music backgrounds and enjoy the instructor’s conversational manner. The only suggestion I have is to feature more female artists in the series mix, especially since they’re becoming more prominent on the radio charts.

    Excellent Podcast
This podcast is amazing. Tamera’s approach to language learning is engaging and fun. I have listened to almost all of them; sometimes several times. The wealth of information she shares and her guest speakers hit the mark every time. Keep up the great work Tamera!

    Terrible sound quality
This podcast is potentially a very useful tool for Spanish learning and listening. Unfortunately the sound quality of the recorded conversations is very bass-heavy and echo-laden. Spanish consonants are already hard to hear as they’re pronounced very softly, and are effectively inaudible in many instances here. However If this problem were corrected, I would recommend the content, which seems pretty good.

    Enjoyable podcast
I really like this podcast as I am an intermediate Spanish learner and always looking for ways to improve my spanish! The focus on Latin American cultures and travel is unique and really engaging. I would love to hear more episodes with breaking down song lyrics like the Despacito episode and even more spanish spoken in future episodes. Muchas gracias!

    Combines my 3 favorite topics!
I am beyond excited to have found a single podcast that combines the three skills I’m learning and loving right now: salsa dancing, coaching and Spanish. Plus podcasts are my ultimate favorite way to learn about so many things. I’ve only listened to the first 2 episodes and am loving it so far! Thank you for not starting with how to say “hi, how are you” like every other podcast out there. I’m so happy to have learned about gerunds and “me” and “te” in the first episode. I’ve noticed that many times Spanish has a single word for what would be 2 words in English, and this lesson was a prime example of this. Thank you and please keep podcasting! I would love to listen to an episode on Cuban Spanish, which I hear can be more difficult to understand bcs they drop consonants at the end of words.

    Fun and effective!
Let me start by saying I’m so happy that I came across this course! My main goal was to improve my listening and I did not leave disappointed. Spanish con salsa is fun because you can explore so much dialect and slang in Spanish as well as introduces you to new music and artist , not to mention that the creator of the program is so helpful and patient.
