Awesome podcast both people very passionate and love the pacers game

The host takes every chance he can get to hate on Mathurin. Nembhard treated like an all star but he has at least criticized him at times. Nembhard has 0 offensive game. Still listen but extremely biased show at times.

Alex and Facci do a great job of bringing entertaining, informed, and thoughtful Pacers content! Player interviews, mailbags, active engagement with listeners and fans, and their efforts to always have an informed guest on if they both aren’t available to record are some of the things that set them apart from other podcasts. The only improvement I could think of would be to keep disagreements a little less condescending. Disagreements are healthy and make the conversation more relatable and entertaining- embrace them! Some people may enjoy some contention though so just one person’s opinion! Great job guys- thanks for giving all Pacers fans reliable Pacers talk to listen to! Keep up the amazing work!

Best Pacers pod out there!

I drive a ton for work & listen to a lot of podcasts and Setting the Pace is usually my 1st listen every morning. Alex & Facci are what I call “realistic homers.” They definitely see things with a Pro-Pacers bias but keep it all grounded in reality. If you’re a Pacers fan then this is a must listen pod.

Alex and Facci are my go to when I want to hear up to date info on the Pacers. Normal dudes who keep the conversation moving. Great listen.

Alex Golden and Facci are great podcast hosts who genuinely care about putting out high quality stuff. As a Pacer’s fan in Illinois, it is refreshing to listen to people who actually know about the NBA (not just the Lakers and other big market teams). They do a great job of being optimistic about the team while also being realistic about where the team is at. I would recommend Setting the Pace to any sports fan who is tired of sports channels that talk about the same three things, or podcasters who are too emotional and act like every loss is the end of the world. . Maybe you will become a Pacers fan through the process!

Between you two and locked on pacers with Tony East are the only podcasts I trust to get my Pacer info and discussions. Thank you guys for being voices that a true fans can listen to and have a lot of the same thoughts as we do.

I’m an interloper. A fan of division rival. But I love Setting the Pace when I want to know what’s happening with the squad in Indiana. Alex and Facci have a good chemistry, great info, and a tireless commitment to frequent shows. True professionals and genuinely good guys. Great listen.

If you’re a Pacers fan, this is a must listen podcast. Authentic, funny, but not unrealistic when it comes to the team, players and expectations. Great insight and conversation every episode.

Best way to keep up with all things pacers, family friendly, you won’t have to worry about listening to this podcast while your kids are around which I greatly appreciate. Love the banter between the hosts.

If you are looking for a podcast about the Indiana Pacers this is certainly one that you should listen to. As a Pacer fan I appreciate the hosts’ knowledge of the team and valuable insights.

Ever since I have found this podcast around 6 months, I have made sure to listen to every new episode. Alex and Facci always come up with interesting podcasts even when the NBA season isn’t active. Not only are they very knowledgable, but they are extremely realistic which is my personal favorite part. At some points, you may find yourself getting a quick laugh or another day you might get to listen to Alex and Facci interview some of your favorite pacers.

I’ve been listening to Alex and Facci for a few years now, and I could not recommend them enough. Knowledge, humor, banter, and a genuine connection between two friends that is evident from the first minute. While I pride myself as being a Pacers encyclopedia, I love listening to this show to get a sometimes contrasting point of view from my own, and random tidbits and facts that even I don’t know. I love seeing the growth from these two over the years, and a huge congrats to Facci on Baby Facci, and Alex for being invited to Pacers media day. Keep up the great work, fellas!

If you’re looking for GREAT Pacer content, there is no other place to listen to than, Setting the Pace. If you’re a podcast listener like I am, this is my go to podcast ALWAYS even over Locked on Pacers, with Tony East. Alex, and Facci, love the content.

I’ve listened to Setting the Pace for years and have always enjoyed Alex and Facci, but I never realized just how good they were until I ventured out to other podcasts. Often times you listen to a pod and a person is knowledgeable, but monotone and boring. Or they may be fun, but bounce around too much and don’t offer any value. The Setting the Pace guys do a fantastic job of keeping it fun while staying extremely in-the-loop and knowledgeable. Setting the Pace is the best place to turn for news update and commentary on the Indiana Pacers. You’re not getting hot take regurgitated from a national show. Alex and Mike capture their audience by not only telling you what’s going on, but the impact it actually has on the team. They are my first choice when it comes to staying on top of the Pacers. Add to that, player interviews, discussions with other media members, and additional social media resources, they’ve got you covered!

I’m still very new to the pod found it at the start of the new year and I can not tell you I’m enough how much I can not wait for a new episode to drop after listing to one, if you are a pacer fan this is the podcast for you to get all your pacers needs.

These guys are just the best. We’re all pacers fans, but they do a great job of being unbiased and objectively talking about the team we all love. I’ve been loving the more frequent uploads! Happy 4th!
