But You Don’t Look Sick

27

But You Don’t Look Sick is a comment I heard so many times while going through breast cancer treatment. The thing is, I was sick! Even when the chemo is over, and your hair grows back, there are more treatments! So let's talk about what living after a breast cancer diagnosis looks like!

    Inspiring!
I started following Kelsey on Instagram shortly after my own breast cancer diagnosis. As I frantically searched and followed anything with #breastcancer, I came across her and that find was one of the most helpful pieces of my breast cancer journey. She is so open and honest and informative about her diagnosis and treatment! This road can be a lonely one, no matter how much support you have, but having someone in your circle who’s been there is so empowering. Thank you for being that person, Kelsey. If you or someone you know has been diagnosed, listen to this podcast. It will make you more prepared for the journey and a better support for anyone who needs it.

    Episode 10
Epidode 10 had me choked up. I could understand everything you stated as I have gone through a double mastectomy. All I can say it’s thank you. I’m looking forward to listening to more!!

    SO WELL DONE!
I listened to Kelsey's podcast for the first time today so I had to catch up on the intro and first two episodes, but I'm so glad I took the time to do it! I'm not a parent or a breast cancer survivor, but I'm a friend of Kelsey's and wanted to support her work. I did not expect myself to be moved to absolute tears (I had to go take a shower and wash my face after episode 2) and find myself nodding and being able to feel the emotion coming through my computer speakersin a way that simply spoke to my heart. Not only is this podcast a must-listen for anyone who might be in the trenches with her, but it's a great listen for someone finally being freaking REAL!
