    They Will Be Missed
I cried when I learned this podcast was ending. It felt like my Internet parents were getting divorced.

    Sad to see it go
I just found this podcast very recent, and listening to it while on walks or while gaming has been amazing. I am sad to see it’s end, but as Jess said, it will always be here for when we need it. Jess and Johnathan, may you succeed in whatever you go on to do next.

    My FAVORITE podcast
I don’t understand how this show that spends so much time roasting people is still so sweet and wholesome -usually lol- but it is. It never fails to cheer me up.

    A Good Show
We all have read ludicrous reviews and pointed them out to our friends. This show is like that, but funnier. The hosts have great chemistry and play off each other well, and the show feels welcoming. And again, it’s funny, which is why we are actually here. Check it out.

Give it a Try, you won’t regret it!
It’s been a couple years since I’ve been listening, and all my friends and coworkers over the years know about it at this point with how often I recommend it to people. A married couple antagonizing each other with the most bonkers reviews online, never in my life did I think I would be so invested with what people have to say about beer or hot dogs yet the bit theme songs are engrained in my brain -Listener Hollis

    Such a fun podcast!
I look forward to listening every week for a much needed laugh. Jess and Jonathan are great, and I love how they play off one another.

    Such a delight!
I’ve been listening to Everyone’s A Critic on Spotify since ~October 2020, and I love this podcast So Very Much! I look forward to every episode, and I just had to share my love and enthusiasm for this on Apple reviews because they deserve ALL the 5-star reviews! Jess and Jonathan sniff out and bring us the most delectable little truffles of online reviews every week. They play off each other so well, and I love all the bits and segments they’ve built up! My mom and I have doubled over laughing during the Belligerent Bibliophobe’s Book Nook, I’m always amused at how weirdly sensual the English majors get on Beer Advocate, and I WISH Common Sense Media would find better phrasing. This brings me so much joy and laughter, and I hope everyone gets to share in it at some point!

    It's a delight!
When I was a kid I used to scroll for hours through sites that catalogued weird reviews. This is like a much more fresh, curated, and funny version of that, and I can listen to it on my bus commute! I adore this podcast and the hosts are always delightful. I found this show at the start of the pandemic and it has been making everything just that more bearable for the past year. Cheers to both of these hosts for their effervescent and enlivening work.

Hero's don't wear capes, but sometimes podcasts do
The premise of Everyone's A Critic is simple: crowd-sourced review platforms are weird and sometimes you just have to bathe in the weird. The partner duo has perfect chemistry as they bounce off each other from gag to gag in the only way people who have been together for over a decade can. Their goal is to bring a little levity to the world while poking at its corners and holes. Listen to Everyone's a Critic for everything from restaurant reviews, reviews for literal actual mountains (yes people do that), to my favorite segment where Jess submits Johnny to weird online quizzes to learn just a bit more about what makes them tick. Catch ya next Wednesday!

Feels Like It Was Made For Me
For years I have amused myself by reading reviews on sites like Beer Advocate , Goodreads and Yelp. It always felt like a hunt for found comedy only I appreciated - Until I stumbled upon this unique and adorable pod. I feel validated in a way I never expected. Been binging for a few weeks now and when I get caught up I’ll have a reason to look forward to Wednesday. PS. If you haven’t yet , take a look at the world of campy trashy romance book reviews or wild / sour beer write ups.

I used to be a 5 star review
When this podcast first started it was full of hope and vigor. I told everyone how funny and uplifting this couple was. I liked to visit into this fun little corner of the internet that seemed pure and good. I’m not sure what has changed, but the feel of the pod has turned like sour milk. It may be nothing, but there seems to be a meanness creeping in. The husband has started cutting the wife off, second guessing her successful attempts at being silly and funny, and just all around creating a hostile environment. He acts like a fool and the. Shoots down their SO for the same risks. It’s sad to see. I like each host independently, but I feel like I’m about to watch the implosion of a marriage and it broadcast worldwide. I don’t need that. Fix the tone or I’m out. Please try to Treat you wife with some respect because she is the easily as talented as the boy.

    Feels like I’m with friends
This podcast is so dang funny! Jess and Johnathon seem so genuine to me and I love the dynamic they have. I know it’s silly, but I feel like I’m sitting hanging out with friends when I listen and let’s be real not a lot of in person hanging out lately so idk it feels nice to listen to something light hearted like I’m having a chat with friends 😄😅 I find myself saving the weekly episode to listen to Friday night while I work from home as a little reward haha. Anyways, give it a listen!

Makes me go hahaha out loud
This podcast hits me right in the laughbox. It's one of the few things that make me laugh audibly. I revived my old iphone to write this review because more people should know about this podcast.

If I could give this podcast 0 stars I would!!!
This is a pretty dang funny skewering of the toxic culture of online customer reviews hosted by a couple with very light and fun chemistry that matches and maybe even surpasses a lot of much more popular podcasts. Surprisingly good audio quality as well for such a small production (some celebrities who jumped into the podcast game post-pandemic could learn a thing or two...) Anyways, I give this podcast 1 star because the app won’t let me go any lower!

A bright spot in dark weeks
Every week, I look forward to this journey into the absurd world of internet reviews! As funny as the reviews are on their own, hearing them presented and discussed by Jess and Jonathan feels like laughing along with the funny friends you can’t actually hang with right now because, well, you know. A welcome respite from the idiot sandwich that is the world right now.
  • This review will give me stars
A very heartwarming funny podcast! :)
Just a couple making jokes and giving out good vibes. Who doesn’t need good vibes? A very funny show that I love!
  • Seagull Food
Would rate more than five stars if able (classic)
This is where Jess and Johnathan read wack internet reviews about stuff. And that’s wack, but it’s so much more than just that! We get kazoo solos, recurring bits that never happen again, hot dog talk, mini game shows, hot dog talk, nut-milk sub-podcasts, and a lot more hot dog talk than you think two vegetarians would ever engage in. This podcast is a shining light in our dark times, and it’s a record of the downfall of society. Reviews have fallen to the “everything must be crowd-sourced” future, and Jess and Johnathan are here to brain chronicle every step deeper into madness that is that future. Also: this podcast is super reliable. They’ve gone 2 years at the time of writing and never missed a Wednesday. Mad respect for that.

Easily one of my favorite podcasts of all time.
My partner and I have been listening to this podcast since about 30 episodes in and quickly became obsessed. Not only are Jess and Jonathan both incredibly weird and funny, but their dynamic reminds me so much of my partner and I, and you can easily tell just how much fun the two of them have together. Listening to this podcast, it’s obvious that the two hosts are just incredibly good and kind people, especially with how they engage with listeners on social media. There are times when you listen to a podcast in its early stages and you can clearly feel a “spark” there, like what you’re listening to is very special, and this podcast is one of those times for me. Being a listener now when the audience is still relatively small feels like getting in on the ground floor of something that’ll hopefully be hugely popular and successful someday. Wishing you all the best! Matt

    Curated for our delight
There is something special and heartwarming about listening to a duo who really truly just want to make each other laugh. Genuinely one of the nicest podcasts I’ve ever listened to, and always a good emotional and mental pick me up with their many skits, segments, and in jokes. Thank you both.

A podcast for these trouble and uncertain times..
Even if you aren’t a human being in a Sam’s Club, buying and then reviewing a pack of Chili's gift cards with the addition of pictures of your barbecue baby, you’ll enjoy this podcast. Catharsis at it’s best, it’s essentially what you already like doing (experiencing and laughing at the baffling nature of internet reviews) but this time a genuinely lovely and hilarious couple does the work, which is a win-win. I embrace the irony of reviewing a review reviewing podcast, and I encourage others to both listen and review so we can spread the joy. Have fun, y’all!

I’m so glad I found this!!
I just found this podcast as it is apart of the maximum fun network, and I am thrilled that I did! I just started a job with a long commute and multiple trips during the day, and listening to this podcast has brought so much joy to my days! I’ve worked my way through from the first episode and I’m on episode 10 within 3 days. I’m sure I’ll make it through them all in no time! And then I’ll start again. Thanks guys!!!

WHO THE F IS SAM WATSON???
In re episode 100: If I could give this episode anything other than 5 stars I would! As someone who has never worked in the service industry even I know who the founder of Wal-Mart/Sams is and it sure as hell isn't Sam Watson. Sam Walton maybe, but not Sam Watson. The Fresh Prince of Subway needs to school you on the Ruben they offer from time to time. THEY HAVE RYE BREAD DURING THAT SPECIAL! Granted, it's not that good, BUT IT IS RYE! And Chili's/On The Border is owned by Brinker International, not Bricker! But seriously, love the show!

Came for the hotdogs, stayed for Beer Advocate
Jess and Jonathan are such genuine, relatable and funny people! I read all reviews in their voices now. Quality content, can’t wait to hear what’s next.

    This product has great reviews!
Not only does it get great reviews from listeners, the wonderful hosts collect all sorts of reviews (great and ...otherwise) from around the internet to share with us. Jess and Jonathan never stop bringing us the best and weirdest our wacky world has to offer. It’s the sort of thing that I never knew I was missing until I found it.

    Wonderful!
I love this podcast. It has become my go to listening when I’m cleaning around the house or doing stuff with my hands. Jess and Jonathan's silly sense of humor is much like my own and so I find their banter to be very enjoyable and funny. They remind me of my friends that I don’t get to see because of COVID, and it makes being home and isolated just that much more bearable. Really, thank you guys and keep it up!

This week’s episode was especially helpful in distracting me from the world
I have mostly laughed at most of the insane reviews Jess

Hope Jonathan finds their kazoo soon
Jess and Jonathan are both absolutely delightful and I was hooked from the moment I heard their ad on ONRAC

    My first podcast review...
So I listen to podcasts pretty much exclusively (it’s either that or the Hamilton soundtrack on repeat) and this is honestly my first review. I first found Everyone’s a Critic through Oh No! Ross and Carrie and have since fell in love. I very much enjoy their sense of humor, the way they crack each other up, the intros (I look forward to the “recurring segments” every week), Book Nook, the man of sandwich who shall not be named, and pretty much everything else. Please keep it up, I recommend you every time a “recommend me a podcast” post comes up and can’t wait for what’s next.
  • Lee A. Contreras
Pleasant Listening! (Despite the tragic content)
Jess and Johnathan are such pleasant, fun and goofy hosts. Even when they’re discussing reviews from questionable and sometimes downright awful customers for even more questionable goods/businesses, they keep the mood lighthearted. I’m slowly but surely getting through the backlog. PS Your ad on Cryptid Keeper worked because thats how I got here. Please keep up the awesome work, I love this show!

    It's not the darkest times
This podcast shows that this is not the darkest times. For this podcast would not exist is the world was so cold and bleak. Finding the humor in the absurdly of this timeline is what gets me through some dark times living in my head. To Jess - Thank you for your sense of humor. You try to see good in people, even when people are awful. I absolutely love "Go Yelp it on a mountain". To Jonathan - Thank you for introducing see of the many one time recurring segments. Fresh Prince of Subway is one of my favorites. And I went to grad school cracks me up every time! Thank you for being what I look forward to every Wednesday. I've been in ever since ONRAC and I've been hooked ever since. You two are young and Yang, and I hope for many more episodes.

    Sore cheeks from smiling!
Episodes of this show have genuinely made my cheeks hurt from smiling so big. The two hosts, Jess and Jonathon, sound like sweet, sincere, endearing, and goofy people who are absolutely perfect for one another. This is one of the only podcasts that my boyfriend and I will exclusively listen to together, and we do that because we both get so much joy out of hearing Jess and Jonathon playfully banter back and forth, quiz each other, and share reviews that masterfully push each other's buttons (just a little bit). Though you might expect the hosts of a podcast dedicated to sharing bad or bewildering reviews from the internet to be mean-spirited or negative, Jonathon and Jess always avoid that trap by instead exuding positivity, appreciation, and love. They find the humor in all of these reviews. And if they can't find the humor, then they don't bring them to the table because their goal every week is to make the other person laugh, not to appease anyone else. Also, I adore their use of instruments and jingles. I would honestly recommend Everyone's a Critic to anyone reading this review (except for children)! I love this show so much!

One of my favourite new podcasts
I LOVE THESE TWO. This is just such a fun break from my usual glut of true crime, history podcasts, and conspiracy/alien theory/magic madness and the paranormal. Will never not rec.

Light-hearted glimpse at terrible word salads
I love this podcast! It’s really funny and refreshing. The two hosts’ style is conversational and pleasant. They are both very witty, and give a fair mix of positive and negative reviews. Great the listen to on my commute.
  • WillowRabbit1
    adorkable and charming
A show of two pals collecting some of the hilarious thoughts people decide they had to share after interacting with something. Theres great chemistry between the hosts, amazing goofs and improv, and you never know what thing they are going to dive into and scroung up peoples opinions on each episode. If you like chuckling at cute jokes and akwardly trying to not laugh out loud in public at utter absurd humor, then EAC is perfect for YOU.

If you enjoy the wholesome goofball energy of Justin and Sydnee Mcelroy you’ll probably enjoy this one. Somehow warm and kind despite the fact that the whole show’s premise is based on making fun of a thing. New friend-shaped voices to live in my ears! Only problem is I’m almost out of eps to binge 😫
  • Ruisey
    It's a blast
I don't know Jess and John in real life, I don't even know what their real names are, but they bring funny content from the internet every week and I love their humor and their voices especially when they bust out the deep southern/Canadian accents! Also appreciate that they also dish out the extra money for free-range eggs from less-tortured chickens. After this podcast was reccomended to me by The Cryptid Keeper, I thought the premise sounded interesting, and it exceeded my expectations. Been blasting through the episodes at work, struggling not to laugh in front of my coworkers like a crazy person. Only criticism is (and I still have like 50 episodes to go before I catch up) is that most of the reviews so far are about recipes, and that to me gets boring after a while, but I still really enjoy it. 5 stars!

    Hooray! A good podcast!
I heard of this podcast from another podcast. The concept intrigued me: “What!? A comedy podcast just about reading reviews online!? That sounds excellent!” I have seen people do this as a one off thing on YouTube and have always enjoyed it, so I was instantly interested. However, I already listen to sooooooo many podcasts. I wondered if I was truly prepared for another podcast in my already over full podcast feed. Would I have to give up another podcast in my life for this one? Would it be worth it? After several hours of thought I went ahead and pulled the trigger. I downloaded an episode and listened to it. And then it happened. The opening. It was so fun and catchy. I gasped. My cat perked her ears up and looked at me. She was clearly worried. She didn’t understand why I gasped, so I shared it with her and she loved the music too. Then I got to the heart of the podcast. The hosts are warm and funny and the topic is really fun. It’s almost like Dumb People Town but for online reviews. I also enjoy hearing about some of the quirkier things they find. Let’s be honest. It’s 2019 and like 3 of my once a week politics podcasts now put out episodes every single day and that can be a little overwhelming so it’s nice to be able to chill out with this show. I’ve been enjoying listening to all the back episodes too.

    Reviewing the Reviewers
    A) The hosts are serious couple goals. It fills me with warm fuzzies to hear their delightful banter and their chemistry is just A+ B) if you enjoy Getting Mad At Stupidity, this is a good show for you. It truly is a big ol’ smorgasbord of what the Internet has to offer in all the best ways.

    Fantastic! One of the best.
This is legit one of my favorite podcasts, and I’m pretty picky. The audio quality is wonderful and the humor is 👌 Pretty much every other podcast I listen to has a big audience/budget, so I’m really impressed that this fresh, growing podcast can already stand toe to toe with the quality of the rest. Can’t wait to see how much they grow in the future, JUMP ON THIS BANDWAGON EARLY FOLKS.

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
So I came across this podcast and thought it would make for a great evening listen. Unfortunately I didn’t have everything on hand. So I replaced the Jess with some peanut butter, the Jonathan with Trader Blows parsley milk, and the reviews with a dank craft brew. Put it in my ears, and it was great! Would listen again!

    Really great content
The topics are super interesting, the hosts are funny and witty... but I have to turn it off every time the kazoo/tambourine shows up for more than 2 seconds. The sound is absolutely grating and I was compelled to unsubscribe.

    So funny!
It’s rare something actually makes me laugh out loud. On public transport. And then people look at me weird.

It’s the month of only good reviews!
As I review this podcast about reviews I find myself reviewing the events that led to this moment and wishing I could re-view each one. Despite the fact that I went to grad school, I don’t want my money back, money back, money back ribs and I certainly don’t want to get dragged! I guess I’ll keep getting hot with the dogs because Jess and Johnathan are hilarious! I’d recommend this podcast to anyone but no one listens to me so instead I will force passengers in my car to be happy when I can!
