matrixmelmoAwesomenessStarted listening from the first episode just as Dani and Bill recommended. Over 200 episodes and I’m always looking forward to the next. Matt and Chris are hilarious and magnificently talented (the musicals, man. The MUSICALS). I tell everyone about the show, one of my favorites!

GLaDOS21Many thumbs upAwesome! Fun! Great! Woohoo!

ScurvytoesTon of funThis podcast is silly and a lot of fun. It’s got some McElroy energy to it, if you are familiar with those podcasts, but it’s also clean and fun to listen to by yourself or with kids. I’m currently reading one of the books these lads have already done with my daughter, and then we’ll go back and listen to the guys chose THEIR adventure. Love the games, the completist angle, and the loving brother competitive-not competitive energy.
-
GameplaaarThese guys are very 😆Great podcast! Matt and Chris are talented, funny and entertaining. They have the perfect mix of silliness, humor and clever artistry. I look forward to hearing their stories every week! Great fun! Adding to my review…when so much in the world is negative listening to the Yule brothers is a true ray of sunshine! Listen to this podcast, it’s delightful! 😃🤩

KraftKlosetKutieSO GOOD!I love this podcast so much! So funny and the musical episodes are go awesome! Matt and Chris are so fun :)
-
theBuffybotLovely to listen toI used to love these books so much, but I love listening to Matt and Chris read them even more!
-
mkr687Great ideaThis is the most amazing idea for a podcast. The stories are interesting and I love hearing all the new endings. When the guys are discussing the story and making jokes I genuinely laugh. They’re funny! My only complaint is that they go off on tangents for so long that I either zone out or completely forget where we are in the story and it gets frustrating. It just feels chaotic at times.. but I feel like I’m in the minority here. Definitely worth a listen!
-
Gametime2Great bro content!A really fun podcast expertly hosted by two goofy, lovable brothers. I look forward to listening to these two make up silly segments, perform ridiculous songs, and get into some wild adventures (or get a mundane job) every week!
-
Can'tPickEmDon’t not Finish It!Team Matt! I got turned on to this podcast back when the Yule brothers were reading Journey Under the Sea.” I binged the episodes (twice!) until I caught up. It’s now my priority podcast that I drop every other one to listen to. My favorite part is Chris’ finish it song, which will be replayed for my husband at the end of every book. I appreciate beeping out the language so I can share with my nephew who loves CYOA books. We each own one of the CYOA games!

JdmerthAn honest opinionThe Finish It! podcast seems to be playing to a specific demographic. 35 to 45-year-old nerds who read Choose Your Own Adventure books as a child, with vertical markets including the children of those nerds. The hosts employ a series of well-targeted tactics to retain this audience, including an obsessive desire to read every outcome, endless ridiculous discussion about each path, a need to provide filler for each episode in the form of improvisational so-called "segments", music, and witty banter about the path of the week. The hosts have an almost obsessive affinity to write what they call "Jangles", which presents itself, after several episodes, as an excuse to write a new song. The structure of the show changes over time as they develop, test, and refine these techniques wooing the listener into a deep and hypnotic following. Older audience members may relate the brotherly banter to the classic radio program Car Talk where the hosts riff on each other and solve car problems. This podcast is similar, without any practical application. After listening to the entire stream of 194 episodes (as of the writing of this review) it is this reviewer's opinion that this may be the greatest podcast of all time. - A 45 year old nerd with kids

JmullanConsistently amazingIf I was to describe this show succinctly, I would say that it is a study in two brothers slowly losing their mind as they attempt to fulfill the goal they established in the first episode: reading every interactive fiction book until they’ve gotten every ending. If someone had described the show to me in that way, I’m not sure I would have ever listened to it. But I’m so glad I did. No podcast makes me laugh so consistently as Finish It does. It is always a joy to listen to. Give it a go. You won’t regret it.
-
KrkMcDMy Favorite PodcastSeriously, the Yule Brothers are a delight, and the more episodes you watch, the more engrossed you become with the show's evolution -- there's expanded bits, songs, and recurring elements to look forward to. They're my favorite book janitors, and my favorite podcast by far!
-
TjvonpGreat concept, great funWhen I heard about this show, I was so mad at myself for doing it first. But hey, these brothers do an amazing job, and there's no way I'd have ever matched it!
-
PayneJayne87Binge-worthy!I recently discovered this podcast and I’ve have been listening non-stop! This show makes me laugh out loud and I seriously love their segments.
-
schoolonsatPossibly the best thing to happen to me in 2021...I stumbled across a recommendation for the podcast at the beginning of the year when I was looking for a break from the hundreds of news/political podcasts that I had been listening to and I am so glad I found it. Listening to these two brothers has brought me a whole lot of joy and I have been powering through all of their past episodes. A part of me is anxious about what I’ll do when I catch up and have to wait a full week before I listen to a new episode.
-
Jen in AlabamaThis is very silly therefore perfect for the timesLike draygun down there, I found this podcast through the Solve this Podcast peeps. It’s hilarious. I want to be in their family.
-
DraygunWareeyurEntertaining!I rarely review things, but I enjoy this show so much that I felt I needed to provide some support and love for one of my favorite podcasts. So I found this through another show I listen to, Escape This Podcast, when they did a collaborative episode, and I have to say that I was reluctant at first to adventure out into a new podcast. Once I did, however, I realized that I had found something that was uproariously funny and entertaining! I am now listening to one of their older arcs, but cannot wait to jump into the new episodes! I highly recommend this clever podcast to anyone looking for a good laugh and a thoroughly enjoyable experience . Thanks for the great fun, Matt and Chris! P.S. - the jangles are the best, and Flute Juice is now my favorite song
-
Holly F.Do You Like Brothers Who Can Read?Well, then, do I have a podcast for you! Finish It! is my favorite podcast about reading brothers on the internet. When I listen with my whole family, we laugh until: A) Our guts spill out (turn to page 4) B) We forget our own names (The end)
-
rowdymouseThe best possible version of its premiseI always loved Choose Your Own Adventure books, but you don't even have to like them to enjoy this podcast. The real draw is the charm of listening to two funny people delve into a quirky children's book with far more scrutiny and creativity than any of us ever did. Well, maybe some people made up quizzes about CYOA books and wrote songs based on the first sentences of them, but I didn't. Wouldn't that be cool, though? Yes, and that's why this is my new favorite podcast.
-
AnailaterFinish It has captured me, I’m caught up in its melodyJust a genuine delight of a podcast. The jingles are always a pleasant surprise, with who’s who being my personal fave, and the concept of one route of a cyoa a week is just maddening enough to be constantly interesting! But really it’s 0/5 because they somehow dislike the seminal masterpiece “Flute Juice”
-
BethjoydWitty and funI was hooked on the concept, used to love reading choose your own adventures, but if you're worried it's going to be like a stuffy audio book fear not! It really is funny in its presentation, like listening to mystery science theater, lots of gags and quick wit on display. I started with the latest book and then went back to start at the beginning, and both were funny and enjoyable.
-
KathyCrowsCardsHilariousTry it if you like MST3K. This is even better because they can do this without sight gags.
-
JustAnotherLokiVariantSpace and Beyond & #1 CYAB that I can findThey should do Space and Beyond. One stipulation is that they cannot, cannot choose the same home planet at the beginning. There aren’t enough CYAB podcasts out there to listen to. These two are hilarious and I like the method of reading the books. It ultimately comes down to a simple question at the end of the episode, Did they have the same ending? If so the punishment for this is a pizza party except it’s a sad depressing pizza party for one. I love that they record these and put them on the podcast. The first book The Cave of Time was like 23 episodes, got repetitive after a while but was still worth it. I enjoy that they include segments in the episode where they do a cyabeer, or ones that fans have sent to them and doing holiday themed ones on the major holidays is fun. I do suggest listening to Matt’s Meanwhile in the Cave of Time bits they are pretty good. Overall a 💯 out of 💯 from me.

boooooks!!!!!Great podcast.Frankly, the title says it all. Great hosts, interesting subject, and funny banter.
-
jack_F@Great Podcast5/5
-
T. KiwifruitEverybody dance now.I think my favorite episodes might be when Chris and Matt start hating every second of reading the book. This is one of the rare podcasts I refresh my podcast player constantly for.
-
Resident [REDACTED]Really goodI dunno what’s better, how mad they get at the books or how they need to write a “jangle” for everything!
-
eviesugaYou’ve hiked through Snake Canyon once before...And you will do it again. Like, 40 times. But you won’t mind because you will get to hang out with Matt and Chris Yule, an absolutely delightful pair of brothers, along the way. I love this podcast. Maybe more than my family? Probably more than my family. It makes me laugh throughout every episode, and their songs are SO GOOD. If you’re not listening to Finish It! you’re stupid.
-
AlexC3131Dry businessThe guys are great and do their best to keep the show fresh and coming up with new stuff on a regular basis. And even if you’re not a fan of the book, it’s like you’re a kid again, with a bedtime story once a week!
-
twitchmoMy Favorite Podcast!I listen to roughly 1,235,045 podcasts a week and this is confidently my favorite. Something about the self-imposed punishment of sticking with the books no matter how bad the ending and a sad pizza party every now and then is similtaneously ironically and sincerely entertaining. Finish It! The Podcast The Musical is *chef's kiss* one of the greatest things in audio. Everyone should be listening to this!
-
fit grandmotherSo good. Two goofy brothers, reading choice-books, writing songs about it and cracking each other up. Hands down the podcast I look forward to the most every week.
-
Kaelin MBest podcast of my weekThese guys put so much heart into this podcast--writing songs, reading books, throwing sad pizza parties for themselves. I look forward to it every week.
-
gamingleetNot Car TalkBut if NPR had more jangles, fewer puns, and a looser view of copyright it would be these guys. Hilarious! I listen right when each episode drops. They won’t help you fix a car, but you might just learn how to make a solid choice. Or not.
-
Chex926Sad Pizza PartyChris and Matt Yule take the “books where you can make your own choices” and inject new life into them! They also write original songs and skits to go along with the stories! Will Louisa ever escape the cave of time? How many sad pizza parties can two brothers have? Why do we only get one thanksgiving episode a year? All these questions and no answers! If you tweet at the podcast go to page 17 If you continue to listen and just go with the flow go to page 45
-
Dantendo64My favorite podcastThis show is hilarious, the hosts are talented and creative and take interactive fiction to a super fun place.
-
sjames2001I look forward to thisThis podcast is silly in the best ways. Keep it up Yule brothers. Can’t wait to hear a country themed musical episode for Deadwood City?
-
James-X-WA Treat Every WeekI never know what to expect except that there will be songs, Choose Your Own Adventure books, and two brothers having fun. One of my absolute favorite podcasts that always leaves me in a better mood than when I started. Just watch out for those Sad Pizza Parties!
-
Doing this To Get FunctionChoose ALL The AdventuresY’all. Just go listen. Maybe one of the best podcasts of all time.
-
Jambes01Yule Love It (ugh bad Yule pun)It’s hard to express how amazing this show is. Matt and Chris Yule are brilliant and the concept is executed with panache. I really hope that they enjoyed my use of the word panache as much as I enjoyed using the word panache. What you’ll be amazed by is how musical this show is. And what great musicians the Yule brothers are. Finally I’m sorry it took me so long to write a review I love pizza.
-
ColinMParkerEvery All Of ItEvery book, every ending, every page, every laugh. This show skyrocketed to my #1 favorite podcast, and it’s not even a competition. I tell everyone I can about this show to hope to add every listener to the list above. LOVE the show, and will listen until the day a Space Vampire or Jenny Mudge ends me.
-
Tsweezy123Top notchThis is my favorite podcast ever. I am no stranger to podcasts and this is the upmost high quality choosing ever. Can not recommend enough. 💖

Kent BlueHilarious and entertainingThis is one of my favorite podcasts. It is so original and the hosts are so funny. Terrific production as well!
-
luke_riversSo goodEvery page, every ending, every episode of this podcast is amazing.
-
DatPrickleyPearHilarious and wonderfulStumbled upon this podcast on twitter from someone suggesting podcasts to Justin Mcelroy and decided that it sounded like a great concept. Matt and Chris are hysterical and I love hearing all the stupid things that Choose Your Own Adventure makes you go through. Also: I hella love all the music you make
-
lulu247Totally DelightfulThe deeper these brothers dive into the harrowing Cave of Time, the more delightful and inventive this podcast becomes! Musical interludes, mid-podcast quizzes and a host of other revolving segments keep me excited to see what they’ll do each week. This podcast finds joy in the silliest of places, and I love it for that!
-
