    John Howard
I can never forget former PM Howard’s words stating that there was no point in being a fair weather friend to the United States after September 11th when he joined us in the battle against terrorism. Australia and the USA are eternal allies and friends.

Typical conversation with a quasi socialist. I don’t know why she would vote, if she doesn’t trust the leadership she votes for. Take her simplistic thoughts concerning the Manhattan Project. She feels like everyone needs to know about initiatives like that. The bomb is a terrible weapon. But in using it, it has been estimated that about 1 million US soldiers lives were spared. And that number doesn’t include the number of Japanese civilians who would have lost their lives. Her explanations were wanting.

    G.K. Chesterton
Think of it . . . a lucid, concise, immensely enjoyable conversation about the importance and relevance of G.K. Chesterton. What a gift! How can one argue against dialogue between two individuals that so casually incorporates the word ratiocination into the discussion? One should take a moment just to be thankful for the opportunity of listening to this as well as other discussions by John Anderson and his wonderful selection of guests. I am so grateful I happened upon this excellent podcast.
  • Today will be a good day
    Lucid and grounded
Worth a listen no matter your political background. Will help clarify your own thinking. A podcast I play in the car with kids knowing they might learn something about geopolitics, history, Australia - and most importantly - how to conduct a civil discussion. A contribution to Australian public discourse.

John Anderson is a clear and articulate conservative thinker and an excellent interviewer. He and his guests provide insightful commentary on the good and the bad in our world today, and often point the way back to the good. This is worth your time every time.

I found Anderson’s podcast since he had an interview with Jordan Peterson as another reviewer mentioned. My mother’s side is Australian - Wanneroo, Perth, and somewhere in the bush. Besides that nostalgic appeal, what appealed to me was the vocal quality and the Christian grounding and having a different international viewpoint on my daily life. If you like the Intellectual Dark Web, this podcast has some shared themes.
