    Great Medic Podcast
Great Podcast! Listening from CT and this podcast makes me feel more comfortable approaching medical direction staff to discuss potential changes, being in an area that is not nearly as progressive as MCHD. Thank you!

    Awesome podcast
Listening from Chicago. Love this show and the team. Tracks well for the medic scope and level but does not water down concepts. I count this among the handful of shows that is really committed to pushing the educational edges forward for medics.

    Phenomenal
If you’re an EMS provider and ever wondered what it’d be like to get one on one lessons from your medical director then this is the podcast for you. I’m a Maryland paramedic and love listening to both Dr. Dixon and Dr. Casey Patrick discuss cases and share their points of view as physicians with cases that every EMS provider experiences at some point in their career to an extent. I’ve actually taken some tips and tricks from them and implemented it into my own practice and used lessons learned from the podcast to create training plans for my agency. The MMQB and serial killer series are probably my two favorite shows to listen to, the MMQB especially because you don’t hear physicians admit to being wrong often. Keep it up MCHD, love y’all and be safe!

    Serial Killer Series
I have enjoyed and learned something from all of these podcasts. They are first rate, but the 5 serial killer series (beginning with podcast 80) are really excellent. Keep them coming!

    Best EMS podcast, hands down
Straight forward educational podcast for EMS providers with none of the nonsense and time wasting banter found in other podcasts with similar content.

    Best Podcast!
I am an AEMT and second year medical student and have been listening to this podcast since 2020. My goal is to become a EMS medical director myself, and listening to this podcast has made this even more real. I love the commodity the podcast has, bringing in doctors and medics to talk about different cases, showing how different positions in medicine view the same issues. This truly is my favorite podcast and I tell everyone about it!

    Best paramedic podcast out there
I’m a new paramedic in utah and this podcast has helped me prepare and get through medic school. I love that it not only covers the basics for those of us still learning but also add a Deeper level of education for those who are looking for more about any subject. It’s brought up many good conversations with my senior medics. Awesome podcast! I listen to it nearly every day!

Absolutely the best emergency Med podcast
I wouldn’t want to live in the Houston area(or Texas; did my time there) but it would almost be worth it to work for mchd ems. This podcast has elevated by medic practice by leaps and bounds. Excellent!

    Great podcast!
As a newer medic for a metro area in WA state, I really enjoy the topics and reviews you guys do! Subjects are spot on, short enough that I can do in a reasonable time, and I find that you speak to your audience level. I feel like listening helps me keep up on skills and better my service to my community. Thanks!

    Great Content
Your podcast is awesome and incredibly informative. Working as an ICU nurse, it’s a bit of a different realm. But nonetheless, the information we can draw from the podcasts can be applied to those sticky situations we run into every now and then in terms of medical emergency management. Being on an inpatient rapid response team was a bit nerve wracking, but the episodes on syncope, seizures, anaphylaxis, chest pain, shortness of breath, and AMS have been fantastic resources. Hope you keep this podcast going! It’s a great thing you have going.

    Very informative
I listen to this podcast while at work as an EMT at a large plant. I love how they go in-depth but also keep it to where I can still keep up. I will be starting medic school soon and feel this podcast will help me a lot.

    Huge help with medic school!
I LOVE the podcast! I am currently in medic school in Massachusetts, and I love listening to the podcast when I am driving to and from my job. It really helps hearing you guys discuss subjects, getting another voice or two talking about something that can make the difference in something really just “clicking”. I feel like it has helped me immensely. Dr Patrick and Dr. Dickson have a knack for really simplifying things to be understood easier, and seem to have a great rapport on the podcast. Please keep up the great work! Thank you!! Patrick M

It’s a great podcast all except for....
You podcast is awesome. I’ve gotten so much helpful education. The only problem I have is that whether I’m riding in my car or listening to in on a Bluetooth speaker I have to turn the volume all the way up and sometimes that still isn’t enough. I especially have a hard time hearing Dr. Dixon. Thanks. Keep up the great work!!!

    Short and Sweet
This podcast provides good on the road CE opportunities for EMS personnel. The cast frequently includes guests who are specialists, and the content is always to the point. Each episode is 10-25 minutes and includes all of the important points of the topic being discussed.

The doctors are great at communicating complicated information that is pertinent to EMS providers of all levels of experience and level of training or certification. Another way to keep your skills up. Thanks MCHD!
