This is the first and only podcast that I listened to and then came back for another complete listen. I love it so much. This podcast is what I consider a masterpiece

    Great podcast
I’ve listened to a lot of podcasts. I listen to anything that has good audio quality, decent acting, and a plot that makes sense, so my opinion is based on almost every fiction podcast available. I’ve been relistening to some of my favorites recently, and this one is even better than I remembered. I don’t know what the negative reviews are talking about. Preachy? About what? I think they’ve confused it with another show. Unless they consider basic empathy to be “preachy,” which is highly disturbing. The acting is good, the characters have different personalities, the storylines are clever and unique. It manages to be very funny but still serious at times. Sponsor Bot is the most adorable way to deliver ads. It’s also fun hearing voices I recognize from other shows. I just hope they’ll come back for another season.

I’m only 6 episodes in, but...
…so far this podcast is a delight. And it’s weird to say, but I think Sponsorbot is one of my favorite things about it? So many podcasts don’t bother to mark the beginning and end of their ads, but Sponsorbot does, and I smile every time I hear Sponsorbot. Sponsorbot is my little friend. My little pal. It’s just such a good and effective way to bookmark the ads.
  • Good review person.
    Best podcast ever!
This makes you feel and see everything in your head and heart. Highly recommended.
  • RYWVU
    Insufferably preachy
I thought the story line had promise, but the show devolved into more preachy diatribes than interesting stories. I gave up by season two.
  • Trucker binge
Episodes too short and too many adds
If you enjoy British voices and eating tide pods you’ll love this.
  • Ber1n2025
Good world building, bad voice acting
The world building is very good, compelling story line and interesting concept. Unfortunately, the actors all sound like they’re reading their lines rather than acting their parts. The sound design is overwrought.

    Brilliant
Longing for season four! Beth Crane is some kind of polychromatic genius.

    Awesome!
As scary as real life, but also much funnier.

    BEST PODCAST EVAH!!
I’m very hard to impress narratively, 👈🏼context non-complementary, and found precisely when it was needed, kismet /bow

    Love It
    Best space podcast hands down!
  • CaitOp
    Too many ads
The actual show is entertaining, but about half of the podcast is ads. Most episodes are about 20 minutes. In that time, they open with an ad, there is another ad about 5 minutes into the actual episode, and then the episode ends with another ad. I’m also not a fan of how long the music lasts. I listen to podcasts to unwind on my drive home from work and the musical choices they make are grating at times.

    Space capitalism!
Very good show. Both funny and captivating. Really adds to the space capitalism genre.
  • LeeEllenM
    Wonderfully funny!
This series is keeping me away from family and writing tasks, it’s so good! Just the right mix of space adventure, character, humor and the dreaded capitalist corporate debt load.

    If you like…
If you like Doctor Who, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Midnight Burger, Dirk Gently, Ruby the Galactic Gumshoe, or anything in that realm, you will like this too. Great acting and vibes.

Somehow this show just gets better and better!
I’m really not sure why this isn’t a television show. The storyline is fantastic and the character development keeps you engaged season after season. There is so much to learn about this new world. I can’t wait for more episodes. Absolutely amazing!

Keep heart, Sponser-Bot still loves us!!!
Such a well written show, that just gets better as it goes along. They mange to find the balance between silly humor and actual stakes, with a vein of heart throughout. Also, and I know it started as a silly joke, but hearing Sponser-Bot say “I love you” makes my day every single time. ☺️ To the point that I noticed the ONE time they didn’t say it. 😢 You know you have a good show on your hands (ears?) when even the ad break conceit is enjoyable. Happy Brucemas, everyone!!! 😀

    Space Adventure and Satire
This is an incredibly well-produced show. The sound effects and editing are on point, and the writing offers plenty of twists and turns. I was engaged with the story from the very start, and I am eager to see where these characters go next. My favorite is DAX.

    Love it!
Am through most of the first season. Hearing Douglas Adam’s BBC HHGTG series on the radio as a kid was a mind blower. Always on the lookout for work in the same vein. Just Finished season 1, and am impressed, this shares the excellent writing, subtle satire, and successful world building that made Hitchhikers a classic. My only complaint is that I wish I had their talent, always wanted to do a humor infused space radio show. They knocked it out of the proverbial park. Delighted to have found this and I highly recommend it. Keep up the great work!

    This show...
Guys, this show is so great! Always keeps you on your toes and the jobs on each episode are so fun! I also appreciate all the Douglas Adams/Hitchhikers Guide references.

    A Favorite
Absolutely fabulous. Wonderful story, excellent cast, and I want to know where to sign up to be a member of Marilyn's resistance. Every single character is amazing. Timely and funny, this is a must listen for sci fi comedy lovers (and everyone else, tbh)
  • chekhovsnumb
    Yes.
Give this show a listen! Smart, funny, entertaining and with great production values, it is one of my favorite fiction podcasts, up there with Alice Isn’t Dead, The Black Tapes, and Limetown! Well...Limetown Season One. It may be of a different vein the previous podcasts, but this is one of the best, currently! Worthwhile!

Welcome to the future, a lot like the past
Great voice acting and adventure in space which seems like anywhere else: monotonous work with seconds of panic and you're buried in debt. A lot of fun, also recommend the Amelia Project which has a crossover.
  • ColibriCar21
    Must Listen!
I binged through this show in like a weekend. It is funny, but with depth and an insidious undercurrent of corporate greed. Even the between season shorts were packed with information and hilarity. If you like space stories and found family, this show is a must listen.

    Such a great story!

    Difficult listening.
Extremely difficult to listen to due to the synthesized voice character. Ugh. Forget it. Find something easier to hear.

    A delightful audio drama
This podcast should appeal to people who enjoyed Girl in Space, The Strange Case of the Starship Iris, or Our Fair City. Thank you to The Amelia Project for sending me over

    It’s ok
Not bad but not interesting enough to make me finish a season.
  • moppet_mi
    Darkly charming
No idea why I waited so long to listen to this, but glad I finally did. Satisfies where so many others fail. Well done! Great concept, vignettes, sound design (even the opening song grew on me), and acting.

    Beautiful satire
Amazing show. Only complaint is that it’s hard to run to as I keep bursting into laughter on hills.

    Do not recommend Patreon
I do not recommend donating to We Fix Space Junk through their Patreon, as they do not honor patreon tier rewards.

    Beautiful.
I binged the entire show in about a day and then felt an intense depression that I was done. Can’t wait for it to return. I have a audio drama podcast of my own and absolutely understand how difficult sound editing and composition can be — and you are killing it. Keep on keep in’ on.

    One Trillion Credits
I love audio dramas and this one is superb. I like that each episode is relatively short but conveys a well rounded story line. Can’t wait to hear more!

    Consistently a favorite!
I am a bit of a podcast junkie and this show continues to be one of my top 5! I have listened to all the episodes several times as well as bought & read “The Intern”. I love everything about this show. The storyline is interesting while being funny & dramatic and it is full of characters you actually care about. Can’t wait for another season!!!!

fun and funny sci-fi comedy with interesting writing
well acted, good sound production, fun story. Great for lovers of podcasts like wolf 359 or starship iris. I hope there will be more! Will def be recommending this podcast.

    Excellent content, inconsistent sound
This is a great show, well written and acted and with a good soundscape. However, the volume of the episodes varies so greatly that it’s extremely noticeable.
