Terrific podcast with plenty of information and some story telling.
I don’t live in Kentucky but I’m on the boarder in Ohio so I feel that most of the information given translates in one way or another. The only problem I have with this podcast is that it makes me wish I would’ve become a wildlife biologist and worked for the dnr. Keep up the great work, it’s certainly appreciated.

Enjoy but consider keeping it clean
My family has enjoyed KY Afield media for years and as a parent it’s been great knowing it was all clean. I love this podcast but with younger children I have to limit it due to the random foul or colorful language by Lee. As a side note this is not an attack on Lee, I’m sure he’s a great guy. I would encourage you all to edit the podcasts so they all are family friendly like all of your other media. Content wise this is already a five star podcast, please consider making it five stars for being family friendly.

    Informative but
It is an informative discussion but the host has an annoying habit of answering for the guests when he asks a question.

Best government agency there is! Thx for being passionate about the outdoors. And bringing good info to enhance our experiences.

    One of my favorite podcasts
I look forward to every week’s episode. Between this show and Steve Rinella’s Meateater podcast, two of the best outdoors podcasts going if you are a Kentuckian.

    More
This is by far my favorite podcast. Wish it was produced on a more regular basis. It’s been several weeks since the last show. We are very close to the hottest hunting season of the year - seems like a great time to share additional information with people. I look forward to the show every week - please try to make it a weekly show.

It’s sad the way you described the burden of taking a 10 year old hunting. Poor kid is probably turned off of hunting for life. Thought you were a DB for using literally and basically on a near constant basis. Now I know for sure you are.

The host likes to argue too much
I enjoy the topics you cover but the host treats it like a pissing match with everyone he talks to. He’s killed the biggest, the quickest, the easiest and right between the eyes. Be humble your still young. Learn from people. Don’t treat this podcast as a bragging platform. The latest deer hunting podcast is a prime example!

    Great work
Very informative podcast from a hunter/ fisher standpoint. I enjoy hearing people’s personal experiences in the outdoors. If you tune in you will learn something new. Even if your not an outdoorsman you will gain some sort of respect for the outdoors by listing to this podcast.

    Takes me home!
I’m from Eastern Kentucky but now live in Seattle, Washington. This podcast takes me back to all the creeks I fished growing up. I look forward to more episodes. Great job guys!

    Good stuff
Good content and conversation liked the kayak fishing talk

    Great work
Awesome opening show! I wanted to add to the Float n fly technique. Instead of having all that extra line from the lure to the bobber, try a bobber stop with a sliding bobber. The bobber stop can be reeled into the spool of the real itself. This prevents the angler from having to use a 8+ft rod.
