    Brilliant
Kimberly is an amazing interviewer and I love hearing her thoughts on a myriad of issues. She’s extremely knowledgable in areas of womanhood, trauma, and health. She isn’t afraid to have a controversial opinion and I appreciate that! I’ve learned so much from her and she’s changed my life for the better. Thank you Kimberly for making this podcast and all the work you do.

    Rambling
Episode 188 is interesting…and then she talks about her daughter near the end. It changed the whole way I viewed the podcast and I won’t continue. She gaslights her teenage daughter on the podcast, sharing things without her daughter’s expressed consent. The content does not add to the episode in anyway, and does not feel necessary. If nothing else, it feels like whining about young people. She seems to demonize psychologists, then she walks her statement back a little, but not much. It’s truly odd. Combine that with other little moments in the show that struck me as narrowminded or dogmatic. She goes on to talk about elders, while I think that’s a really important conversation to be had she has it in the most unhinged way. I won’t be listening to any more episodes. The host was rambling and a poor interviewer. On the other hand, the guest, Sophie Strand, was articulate and clear.

    Love love love
I have listened to every episode, some of them more than once! I have received something from each one of them. I love the dialogue and exploration. I am inspired by Kimberly’s genuine curiosity and ability to question and co create with her guests.

    Amazing!
Kimberly is the only podcast I listen too regularly. She is wise, compassionate and sees things with a brilliant perspective. Her guests are always incredibly knowledgeable with teachings that are so valuable to all humans. This is one of the few revolutionary podcasts that is NOT completely far fetched, disrespectful, steeped in white privilege or too heady to even follow. She is genuine, inclusive and her ideas matter. I appreciate you and your work so much Kimberly!

    I kind of like it?
But I’m going to pretend they didn’t just mention reparations as motivation to pay off debt. Pay off debt because it’s crippling, and because your family can be building wealth much faster without it. Dave Ramseys debt free journey has been a blessing to my family. I’m the accountant and budgeting has been so freeing. Definitely work as hard and as long as it takes to remove debt from your life! It’s worth it. And don’t hide money from your husband, I don’t think I want to listen to women who suggest that. Having an account in your name as an “escape route” sounds like you’re in the wrong relationship.

    Timely, important, great!
I’m consistently impressed by this podcast—the quality of guests, the examination of the language, politics and identity of this unique time we’re in—it’s excellent and I highly recommend it!

    Episode 135 & 136 (edited)
Thank You for taking on these topics with the likes of “Esteban”, as I like to call him. To understand the consequences of being on the receiving end of perhaps, more than you wanted to know, shows up at the end of both of these ,…. Let’s call it a “body of work”. Thank You for your due diligence! ps. Perhaps the closest description of the term “ the sound associated with awake, becoming awakened is called “wrecked on schedule”. And of course Stephen is not a doctor, thankfully!

    Kimberly is Awesome
I first learned about this podcast when I heard the interview Kimberly did on the Relationship School Podcast, and it really struck me and helped me to understand polyvagal theory in a way that really resonated with me. I’m now 7 months pregnant and I’m so thankful for the content offered here. I just listened to the episode on optimal nutrition for pregnancy, which was so so good and parallels the work of Sally Fallon Morrell, who first opened my eyes to the importance of eating well not just during pregnancy but beyond it as well. I’ve ordered Kimberly’s first book and am ordering the second. Next I’m heading to her website! This is just the medicine I’ve been looking for.

A show that can hold these times!
Really loving this podcast! I feel very held by Kimberley who feels very in touch with the moment, grounded in our times, and does a great job of holding both the complexities of politics and struggles for justice while also staying connected to the deepest threads of love, emotions, and the human experience! I’ve learned so much and grown and expanded in a lot of ways as a person in my year or so of listening to this podcast and contemplating/deepening understanding alongside Kimberley and her guests!

    Unsubscribing
2020 election episode was trash. In the quest for progressive change through discourse, sometimes progressives get lost and fail to realize the ‘catch 22’ of the ideas they push. Like socialism. Or identity politics. While social climate and politics isn’t the focus of this podcast, it comes up every now and again. I appreciate Kimberly keeping it focused and brief, at least. When she does focus on her expertise in sex-motherhood-sex, she’s spot on in the money & is high quality info worth subscribing to!

    Zero credibility
You present zero credentials for Matthew stillman other than someone who validates your feelings. I searched online and could not find any Matthew stillman who would be sufficiently credentialed to challenge the research of triple board certified physicians, MD’s and other legitimate professionals. Very disappointed in you for perpetuating this lazy and dismissive label of “conspiracy theories” about which things you have NO CREDENTIALS and NO PLACE to speak. Seems to be based out of your own trauma.

Some clarity is on order please
MAGA? That requires a bit more explanation in 2020. A brief look at the podcast descriptions doesn’t help — consolidating whiteness? the left meeting the right with anti-science, anti-vax, and magical thinking? Intriguing but worrisome. A look at the website doesn’t help and one doesn’t see any photos of black women, who are in the most danger from childbearing in America. A google search doesn’t help either. Context please.

    Wanted to like..
I really wanted to like this podcast, but every time I go to listen there is some anti plant based element to the episode. Don’t get me wrong- dissenting opinions are fine. What’s not fine is that literally none of the info seems to be from RDs or trained professionals (trained in that field) . I don’t see how to look at your health without looking at your diets impact on the planet. Does seem holistic. But yeah at least if you’re going to give dietary advise have it be by someone who understands the full scope of the practice. Just listened to a guest talk about how you need to eat meat to create cholesterol. Like, I’m no doctor, but even I know there is two types of cholesterol (dietary, and synthesized from your liver). Please reconsider asking leading diet questions.

    Always powerful
Kimberly is a grounded and inspired host; her interviews never fail to deliver thoughtful, body-felt content that often feel like a college education in the nervous system, womanhood, and genuine health.

    Liz Koch on rewilding psoas
I love the work of Kimberly and the many wise, heart centered women she connects with on her podcast. This podcast was helpful to me in reminding me that I’m not alone in my belief that there is embodied fierce wisdom in women and birth. This is powerful. It also had some simple practical ways to practice better communication with my body since the beliefs and feelings don’t always translate to what actually happens during birth. I can’t say enough about the integrity and importance and beauty of these podcasts and all kinberlys work.

    New Favorite Podcast
I started listening to Magamamas during my third trimester and am continuing to listen 6 weeks postpartum. I am so inspired by these conversations with wise, embodied, sensative and powerful women. The podcast makes me feel more validated and empowered by my own womenhood and connected to other women and mothers. I am a yoga teacher interested in expanding my practice to more profoundly serve women and I am learning so much by listening to these conversations.

    I love this podcast!
I discovered Kimberly and her work just recently after my fourth baby was born. She is a trailblazer on this planet and her call is for all of us to reclaim our humanity. Her book The Fourth Trimester was a godsend to me during my postpartum. I could listen to her podcast all day long. Kimberly is a truth teller and has the courage to speak about things we as a society tend to ignore and sweep under the rug. If you are searching for truth and authenticity this conversation is for you. Thank you Kimberly for all that you do!

THE conversation to be apart of NOW
Thank you Kimberly for taking the time to produce this podcast. It is literally changing my life. I have recommended it to all the important women in my life. My mom and I are order Vaginal Steam Saunas for sure! I’m pregnant with my third child and planning to do a 40 day sit it (which I previously thought was insane and went straight to work and Costco baby wearing when my first was born). I’m having this baby at a birthing center instead of a hospital and your Podcast has enlightened me and given me the courage to do so. I wish all the women in my life were as open, honest and willing to have the awkward conversation for the sake of health and well being as you are. Thank you for being the voice I desperately needed to hear!

    Unique in every way!
You won’t find another podcast that is so intelligent, articulate, honest, compassionate, and powerful! Kimberly so well versed and passionate about every topic she covers. I love how she sees the world. She has the ability to take common ideas of womanhood, motherhood, relationships, and community and ahead light on a new way of thinking and doing things. Loving her new book too!

    Kimberly Ann is the BEST
I absolutely love this podcast. Kimberly's knowledge is truly unique and unparalled. You don't find info like this anywhere else. Highly recommend.

    Keep it coming!
As a birthworker and bodyworker, I'm thrilled to see the intersection of topics Kimberely facilitates in this podcast. Her depth and breath of knowledge and passion for motherhood in all it's aspects is a breath of fresh air. We live in a culture in which we spend so much time prepping women for birth, and on the other side, in postpartum, essentially just wish them good luck. We don't have a culture that offers much support for physical recovery, let alone emotional, or sexual recovery- This podcast is changing that. I highly recommend it!
  • karlynuttallmidwife
    powerful knowledge for any woman!
Kimberly is a fantastic practitioner and I'm so excited that she has a podcast where she can shower us with all her knowledge! They say knowledge is power and I agree with that in general but I agree with it emphatically when it comes to what Kimberly knows and shares. Applicable to any woman but especially mothers. I am a midwife and wish every one of my clients would go see her!

    Must listen!
Such great raw feelings of post pregnancy thoughts, feelings, physical components and excellent support for women that's available to them that's vital for mothers well being after baby comes.

    Hot Sexy Truth Bombs
Kimberly Johnson is a provacateur and skilled practitioner who must have been sent to us by Divine Mother herself to correct the rampant lies and down right BS perpetuated by a male dominated culture that has for centuries cared little about the actual workings of women's bodies. Not only is her technical knowledge superior, she extends deep permission to women to trust the innate widsom of their own bodies. The cultural implications of this are profound. More of this, and, I suspect we will indeed have a woman President.

    Trailblazing Wonderwoman
Not only is Kimberly a leader in the field of sex, birth and postpartum care, she's also a paradigm shifter. Thanks to her vast experience, she gracefully blends new ideas with established knowledge. She doesn't shy away from challenging the status quo when there is good reason to. I'm looking forward to seeing the direction her podcasts take and am excited that she is making her knowledge available in this way!

    Expanding my awareness
I come to this podcast from a less directly engaged place as others, and have found it to be a wonderful opportunity to take time to think differently and listen. I'm not well versed in the full vocabulary of what is discussed, and yet I enjoy the new avenues this is taking me in my own journey for health and wellness. Thank you Kimberly, it's been a long time since we danced in college. Thank you for sharing your journey and your passion, your courage and voice are an amazing counterbalance to a corporate life in need of healing:-)
