itunesaliciousThe podcast, books and program are incredible. Thank you!I have read the reviews including the bad ones. If you have any doubt, just read them. The bad ones sound like they were either written by children, or bots lol. I have not spent any money on anything other than the books through my audible subscription and I have to say there are no other books on migraines that come close to being as helpful as Josh Turknett’s. This is because the books are written in a way that normal people can understand them without having to study neurology. The money to join the Migraine Never-Lander’s program would be a pittance just to get the recipes in my opinion. I’m considering joining just for that. My story is pretty boring. I have gotten migraines maybe 2-4 times a year with increasing frequency over the last few years and kind of fell into the ketogenic diet for other reasons. When I started into ketosis, my migraines started becoming even more frequent, but less severe. I decided to read “The Migraine Miracle” and “Keto for Migraines” and what a help that was just for my stress. My doctor is great, but didn’t really know much about migraines. Josh’s book was illuminating to the point where I have been able to manage my migraines with simple tactics. It’s been close to a month since my last one. (Knock on wood) Thank you.

Be&BuDr Turknett is the only dr. who has helped meAfter 30 years of my life being ruined by migraine my misery has ended. Nothing else has worked for me. As long as I stay on the program I don’t get migraines any more. I was so desperate I wanted to die so I was willing to try this lifestyle and diet. It wasn’t immediate because I kept cheating but once I put it together that cheating equals migraine pain I have been free. Forever grateful.

JimV315InspiringFortunately, I’m don’t have migraines. But I do have a brain that I’d like to keep healthy into old age. As an older man, I’m getting closer to the age when we start to notice dementia, maybe there’s still time to limit or even reverse the damage done by living a high-carb, grain-centric diet that we were advised to follow for several decades. I’m already a few years way down this road of caring for the brain as part of the body, just like I care for my heart and lungs, liver and muscles. I also wonder if this approach would help for someone with a TBI. I found this because I went back to review some of Dr. Turknett’s writings on neuroplasticty, mindset, and effective learning that I found helpful a few years ago. I find this very helpful as a reminder to keep taking the next step and I find it inspires me to keep on track, even if it gets difficult. Oh, and there is plenty of practical advise for how to do that.

GreyhoundXXGreat doc!I haven't had classic migraines in years (due to low carb diet) but am really happy to hear his insights that helps sufferers. I usually listen to his epsisodes twice to get all the science content.

Chrissy GearyArrogance minusIf it weren’t nauseating enough that Josh speaks in what I can only describe as an “ex cathedra wannabe-esque” tone wherein he reduces a complex disease into a reductive paradigm decrying a diet and lifestyle that no good white American “prepper” would indulge in, a quick check of his behavior reveals something much less than an inept doctor. Stick to dueling guitars, or more specifically, banjos. before the movie ends ... PS, it’s not a nostalgic, lyrical homage to the pristine wilderness of the south. Also, you might want to take some lessons. Steve Martin is immensely talented. His picking and fingering is extraordinary. Such a decent, humane, tolerant man. Perhaps he’s available. And he might help you with the banjo, as well.

gwyndollThank youIt’s been approximately 10 days since I found Dr. Turknett on podcast. I binge listened, bought the book, gave up abortives and started the low carb diet within the first two days (this has been a sacrifice as I’m a vegetarian and live primarily on whole grains and legumes). I have had migraines for over 25 years. I’ve been on numerous medications both preventatives and abortives with varying success. Additionally over the years I’ve been on elimination diets which have only led to frustration and to feel as if I’m searching for a constantly moving needle in a hay stack. I’m early in my Migraine Miracle journey but I’m hopeful. I’ve had only one migraine day in these 10 days which is a vast improvement from my baseline. I’m aware of placebo affects and am maintaining a reasoned optimism. Dr Turknett makes sense and I appreciate his thoughtful and personalized approach. I hope to be in a better place soon. Thank you to the Migraine Miracle team.

EcokieferIt really works.I’ve been listening to Dr T for a few years now. Each life/routine change has taken me months to implement (habits are hard to break) but with each successful change I have noticed improvement. The biggest shift came recently - when I finally detoxed off Sumatriptans. Three days of hell getting off those things, but I am now experiencing 10+ days in a row free of migraine - prior to this I was getting them at least 5 times a week. I am not strict with the Keto, but I have started getting better at fasting, and I can see that this next tool has the power to put me to zero migraines a month. As he will tell you, this is not a one pill solution- you have to be willing to work hard and change habits. I can’t thank Dr T enough for all that he does to spread the word about his discoveries. The majority of which is free! He is amazing and a true miracle worker.

LazerBlaze5Completely Eye OpeningFortunately I am not a migraine sufferer, however my wife is. I’ve always struggled to understand the condition and Dr. T’s comparison to heroin blew me away. It’s the first time I really got it. Since finding this podcast and the Miracle Migraine book, my wife has been 7 days without medicine (I know early) but this has been the longest stretch since we can remember. In addition, we’ve been really working on the “New Migraine Story” and having the right long term mindset. Having struggled with “slaying the beast” for over a decade we’ve spent thousands of dollars trying every type of therapy, medicine, lotion and potion on the market with no sustained relief. Thank you for this Podcast, book, and support group. We finally have the right tools and mindset to slay the beast!

annehart57So positive and informative!Dr. Turknett’s sound representation of medical research combined with his straight forward approach make these pod casts fascinating and encouraging. I have truly benefited from his program and will continue to follow his direction in my battle against “the beast!”

EroetkerA podcast of hope for the person suffering from migrainesI thank god you exist Dr. T! You have given me so much hope for “slaying the beast.” Having migraines can be so hopeless and isolating and I’m so happy to listen to every episode where more knowledge is given out. Thank you for all the important research you’re doing. I am excited to make these (challenging) changes to my life.

GT1944WFantastic!A must listen for migraineurs. My only regret is that it didn’t come out sooner - would’ve saved me 30 years of agony!

ElleAhlWhat Migraine Sufferers and Heroine Users Have in CommonI am really disappointed that this neurologist and migraneur chose to make an analogy between migraneurs and heroine users: one is a result of an endogenous and uncontrolled stimulus while heroin is caused exogenously and is under partial control of the heroin user. There is no analogy!

Janna L. C.This really works! After many years of dealing with migraines I am finally able to get off the meds. I still get migraines, but now I am in control of them rather than the other way around. Thank you, Dr. T!

sdkellamEssential podcastGreat podcast, offers hope, understanding, connection with a community, and a new way forward for all of us migraneurs. And fascinating too - not just regarding health, but also culture and even the history of biological evolution!

nd021What a breath of fresh air! Thank you Dr. T!I have been suffering from Vestibular Migraines since a concussion June 2018. I have been unable to work more than a few hours per week since, due to dizziness and nausea which apparently is my “migraine equivalent” because all of my symptoms briefly vanish with imitrex. I recently left a Migraine support group on facebook because I found that the negativity was not serving me. I happened to stumble upon Dr. T’s podcast and have been listening avidly for a few weeks. He shares such a wealth of knowledge in the area. And in contrast to other healthcare professionals and support groups, he presents with such positivity and sense of HOPE! I am a nurse practitioner and a yoga teacher and appreciate his blend of scientific knowledge along with focus on mindfulness and positive mindset. Professionally, we share many thoughts on the somewhat ineffective healthcare system that I am still a part of. He also has great illustrative analogies which really make you think. I have been mostly paleo for years. I changed to keto a few weeks ago and this week I have felt the best I have in 7 months! Today I had no symptoms at work!I may even be able to increase my hours if this continues! I finished most of the podcasts and just got the book. Thank you Dr. T for sharing your knowledge, hope and positivity. Everyone, impacted by migraine or not, should tap into this wonderful health resource!

LiSaGsillyMy miracle for 3 years!I just celebrated my three year anniversary on Dr. Turknett’s Migraine Miracle plan, which has been the single most helpful step to reducing my migraine frequency. And now he’s created this helpful podcast. Listen to the podcast, read and reread his book, and spend an hour perusing the helpful articles on his website. You won’t regret it, and you won’t go back once you taste the freedom of a clear head!

Laurali401So informative and insightfulI just started listening to Dr. Turknett's podcast after reading his book. This is a physician who truly understands migraine and its impact on his patients lives. He's a beacon of light in the storm.

anonymous831Changed Everything For MeI read the book, listened to the podcasts and then took Dr. Turknett's Beastslayer Training Academy course on-line. I implemented the program 4 months ago. After 40 years of headaches and migraines I am now completely free of all headache and migraine pain. Best of all I am doing it with absolutely no medication - no Advil. no Tylenol. no Triptans. Most of all NO PAIN. It feels miraculous.

The Motor DollLife ChangingDr T’s “Miracle” helped me go from more than 20 migraines a month, to now a year later, ZERO. He is a true student of migraine, studying, experimenting, and making modifications to take the plan to the next level. Listen to him. Follow the plan exactly. And you too can slay the migraine beast. Thanks for all you do Doc! (And Wife Jenny!)
