Dive Cuts is one of my favorite Mizzou basketball podcasts, especially since the Missouri Sports Podcast ended. Just wish there was a more consistent schedule for the episodes or at least an episode soon after a big win, but I understand that schedules and stuff dont always work out. Keep it up!

Today’s show. We have no idea why Shedrick did not pick Mizzou. Stale news about Caleb Grill. Possibly some explanation as to doing a 180 about possibly getting Matthew Cleveland, but likely explanation to be “we have no idea because we have no information.” I can’t say for sure because I can’t listen to more about nothing.

Love the chemistry of the hosts and the analysis they provide. It’s an essential listen for an out-of-state alum who loves Mizzou basketball but doesn’t always get exposed to the latest news and updates. -Erik from Austin

I really want to like this podcast on Mizzou football ie, the topic is interesting with timely updates. Unfortunately, the credibility is lacking after both speakers announced they didn’t attend this game in person and Nate admitted he didn’t even watch live and at time of podcast had watched “most of the recording.” Hello??? there are only 7 home games a year & attending the game isn’t high enough priority before “analyzing” the topic of your podcast? Sorry - I think that’s unable to provide adequate insight as subject matter experts and frankly lazy. You can do better.

Nate is a giant idiot who just stirs the pot without actual knowledge. A true Mizzou fan would never listen to them.

The new BTBS with Nate and BK is so pleasant-sounding on the ears. I love it so much.

I want to like this podcast. Sam and Matt seem like nice guys. But it’s just so goddamn boring. They both talk like they’d rather be talking about literally anything other than this. So. Monotone. And they tend to spend as much, if not more, time talking about other teams around the SEC than they do Mizzou.

As always Nate was insightful and had a great guest. However, he let the Arkansas guy get away with too much of Missouri is as bad as Arkansas. As bad as we are we we haven’t sunk to their level. Just a comment. Great podcast.

Not a voice for radio. Jerky jerky style. Audio is terrible on Sammy’s end. Are you going to correct this? If not, I won’t be listening again. Josh sounds like a Valley girl. Mitch and Bennett use the term “I mean” every other sentence. Come on Rock M you can do better.

Nate from Before the Box Score is an actual genius and I love how he really has found his true “podcast voice”. The best Missouri football podcast out there!!

This was an awesome first episode and I will for sure listen to you guys as the season goes on! It’s great to hear from some die hard Mizzou fans with insights that go beyond casual viewership! As requested, I do have a question that maybe you can discuss at some point leading up to the season! Question- it’s very clear that Mizzou has a special feeling heading into this season (at least in the minds of Mizzou fans). As you said, I think the coaching staff has done a great job over the last few years setting us up for success this season amidst all of the other variables surrounding the program. However, do you think the signing of Kelly Bryant has a trickle down effect of some of the other players not wanting to transfer? If that’s the case, do you think this season is an outlier season that is working almost as a “camouflage” for a program with longer term issues? Don’t get me wrong, I’m just as excited as the next fan for this season BUT I can’t help but think we are just “band-aiding” larger scale problems for the success of one season.

A gentleman’s 3 star if he is not present. Sounds like you are broadcasting from the bottom of a large tin can.
