    Solid - end to end.
Started from the beginning and been working my way through. As a new amateur photographer (1.5 years) - Nick’s podcast has been great for me. I am an all or nothing guy, so when I am not working at my day to day - I am all in with this hobby and this podcast has been a great resource for me in my journey. Appreciate the content, candor and experience that Nick brings to the microphone.

    Every landscape photographers playlist
This podcast is one of if not the best landscape photographers podcast there is out there. Tons of amazing guests, topics and tips. There is so much info to take in that I often listen to these over and over. Any photographer or outdoor enthusiast should have this on their playlist.

    Best Photography Podcast
I’ve listened to every episode multiple times. I have learned so much and feel this has directed me into the place I want to be in my Photograghy. I was also fortunate to attend an Iceland workshop with Nick as well as a lumenzia Boot Camp. He’s a first class teacher!

Place to hangout for landscape photography talks
While it’s way helpful and I have taken lots of tips out of it. Right from gear talks and little accessories. Peak into professional photographer styles while they come in show. Some really influential ones like Marc Adamus , Ryan Dyar , Michael shainblum . Waiting for Daniel Kordan, max rive , lovely narrator Elia Locardi, enricco fossati to be on show some day and see what they have under their sleeves which creates such images . Yes podcast is awesome but it’s sometime too talkative and not informative. I guess somehow it should have more content on composition ( don’t know how) , creative processing of images ( ways and ideas), planning trip for amateurs , technical stuff ( like to what height from ground camera should be so that photographs come with great depth ).

This guy is a joke. He will talk smack to you about your photography and play drone police because he gets jealous of others work.

    Well-produced with great, varied content
My only criticism is the frequency of episodes. Nick is my favorite teacher of photography. After a half-dozen tutorials, I could not understand photoshop. Nick broke it down for me. His are the first and only tutorials for which I paid money and it was worth every penny. The depth of the topic varies, and is reflected in the length. With so many podcasts trying to fill a set length, it feels like Nick values my time by not attempting to fill a particular length of time. I’ve received some of the most honest feedback about my photography through my interactions with other listeners. Nick approaches topics with humility. He speaks about his own experience, but he will bring “experts” on topics deemed important by his listeners. Thomas Heaton, Rick Sammon, Ryan Dyar and others show up to talk photography and nerd out.

I am a photographer who is doing online photography class through New York Institute of Photography and I love listening to your podcast while I take photos. I highly recommend this podcast for anyone who is wanting to get inspired and get fired up to do photography.

    Thanks
Yours is one of my favorite photo podcasts but I especially loved the interview with Alister Benn. I like your humble passion for the craft. Keep it up.

    Best photography podcast out there.
Nick, I never write review or rate content but you have inspired me to start sharing the love. I am a high school teacher that saw the need/desire for kids to learn about photography and started a program a few years ago. I use your tutorials and vlogs and podcasts as high value content. Your extremely relaxed and articulate in your podcast and blown away with your in depth knowledge of the subject. Keep inspiring - hope to get there some day. Enjoying learning from you and others every day. Thank you.

Thank you Nick for Inspiring me!
I’m writing this review for several reasons, first off to tell everyone who does landscape photography that they need to listen to this series! I also a distant bond with Nick as we seem to share similar backstories for getting into photography. So I’ll start at the beginning, I’ve always had a love for photography, snapping pictures wherever I could with my cheap phone cameras and cheap $100-$200 point and shoots. I never really had the drive to get into it as a regular hobby, I was always outdoors doing something, riding dirt bikes, building cars, and having a blast with my loved ones. Then it all changed for me when I was in a severe motorcycle accident in July of 2019. I came close to death and had a revelation, my life litterally flashed before my eyes as I was rushed to the er. It was a long a grueling recovery, and I’ve beed left with some defects and a lot of regular pain which doesn’t allow me to pursue my passion for vehicles as I would like. I started to focus more on the beauty around me rather than the fast paced life I used to lead, and I’m especially lucky to have grown up and live in a beautiful place like Big Bear. After a few months of working my regular 9-5 job again, I started to crave more in life to fill the void of working on cars/riding dirt bikes. One fateful trip to best buy later and I walked out with a sony a6100, and since then my life has changed for the better in every way. Im making better lifestyle choices, Im more active, and most of all Im happier than ever before! I don’t want to drone on incase you do actually read this, but I simply want to thank you for all the work you do in the photography world, and thank you Nick for making this podcast that I listen to during my 9-5 then go apply what I learned for the rest of the night! I would really like to be a part of one of your workshops to learn more from a pro like yourself. Thank you again if you took the time to read this!

A great podcast, listen and learn
There are a number of photography podcasts. The problems I have with some of them is that, they talk too much about gear, it’s just two dudes bantering, trading inside jokes and try to be funny for much too long, or the delivery is too woody, annoying, self-absorbed or pained that I have to turn it off. This one is different, the content is great, Nick clearly knows what he’s talking about - just look at his portfolio, plus the delivery is polished, it sounds professional and the content is well put together. He is humble and seems like a genuinely nice guy who lives sharing and teaching the craft, without taking himself too seriously. If you’re a listener, subscribe, listen and learn, if you’re Nick, thank you for the awesome content, and keep up the good work. @alex.s.photo

Completely agree! Have thought about that for sometime that upside down and backwards separates your brain and allows creativity to see the image more the scene. How can we accomplish?

I love this podcast! It keeps me motivated and entertained while I’m recovering from some injuries. I’ve also learned a lot with all the great tips on not only photography but travel, business aspect and gear and many more great things!

    Motivational
The host has a smooth voice, keeps his guests engaged, and has an intangible talent in somehow making me want to get off of the couch to go take photos. I recently listened to the Shooting Waves podcast on Thanksgiving and actually stopped watching football to safely take pictures of the angry ocean in Bandon, Oregon. Lots of tips for outdoor photographers regardless of skill level. Topics are interesting and educational. I hope Nick has stock in NRS neoprene knee socks. I bought some and now actually ENJOY standing in the water along the Oregon coast and cool mountain streams. Cheers, Erno (Ernogyphoto Instagram)

    High Quality and Great Content
Really like this podcast...Nick Page is very relatable and does a great job interviewing his guests. There is a lot of helpful info on here for all levels of photogs to benefit from. I hope Nick continues with this podcast for a long time, bc I really do find it to be a great learning tool listening to the top LPs in the field.

    Pronunciation?
Nick Page’s description of Kauai’i would be a lot more convincing if he learned to pronounce the island’s name properly. It’s three syllables, (Ka-why-ee), not two (Ka-why), as he says it. But it is a beautiful place to photograph.

This is one of my favorite photography podcasts.

    Fantastic Content
You are going to love this podcast. Nick'offers valuable content for all skill levels and is highly applicable to a variety of disciplines. I'm generally a wildlife photographer but I never listen to a podcast that doesn't teach me something valuable. I appreciate that a great deal. He offers helpful tips in a humble and entertaining way. Nick is a very skilled photographer who readily shares information with anyone willing to learn. Honestly, if you don't like Nick Page, you probably just don't like people.

    Was good.
The podcasts Nick used to put out used to be good and a wealth of knowledge. But anymore, it is just a means for him to promote his online courses and workshops. The show used to offer tips on actual landscape photography or tips about shooting certain types of photography or even tips about shooting in certain locations. Additionally he has gotten quite hypocritical, he puts out several shows complaining about certain locations getting overcrowded all the while sharing shots from that location with his huge audience as well as taking workshop attendees there. This gives a feeling of "oh people shouldnt be going here unless they are paying me since it is my spot". Now, with all this being said. I have nothing against Nick and have a lot of respect for him as a photographer and he seems like a really likeable guy. I just hope the show can get back to it's roots.

    Landscape Photography Podcast
I have followed Nick as he has advanced his career at an amazing pace these past few years. I have spent time with Nick photographing in Zion National Park and in Iceland. In Iceland the guy even loaned me a tripod when my travel tripod failed in a massive overnight storm as we were waiting to shoot Vestrahorn at dawn. Nick is a master photographer of multiple disciplines, including landscapes. Nick displays his laid back style and personality in this podcast while imparting words of wisdom on landscapes photography. If you are into landscape photography, this is a must listen! Nick is a master photographer and an excellent podcaster. Thank you for doing this Nick!

    Worth your time!
I have listened to every single podcast of Nicks, and have nothing but good things to say! His podcasts are informative, funny, and a joy to listen to. I look forward to them every week! Whoever Blue Moon is, sounds like a hateful bitter person who has nothing better to do than berate someone who spends an enormous amount of time giving back to the Photography community at no cost to anyone! He does this to help others, in their own photographic journey’s! Keep up the great work Nick!

The BEST podcast for nature photographers
Nick Page is funny, refreshing, open and insightful. In a photographic world that can sometimes feel like secrets are currency, Nick is transparent, eager to share and ready to motivate. Whether you’re a veteran photographer or someone eager to learn, you’ll enjoy his perspective, thoughts, interesting guests and the overall value he brings to the industry. I highly recommend this podcast.

    Excellent photographer and Podcast
Nick is an excellent and dramatic landscape photographer and he shares his passion for the art with us all in this podcast. In this podcast Nick shares his skills on how we can try to master the craft as he has done.

    Nick is awesome.
Just read a bad review left by somebody blue moon. You’ve got to be kidding me. Nick combines a technical side of photography with a very down to earth way of speaking. He’s motivating and his work is awesome. Bummer to see someone leave such a bad review. It makes no sense-podcasts are free. Why bum someone out by being so negative? Did you buy the podcast? Where you lead astray? If you don’t like a podcast, don’t listen again. If you buy a meal you don’t like, return it. This is free content buddy. Leaving horrible reviews for a guy making his living through photography is pretty uncool. Drop a link to hour superior podcast :)

What a waste of hot air!
Just listened to his episode about social media, which consists of 2+ minutes of him selling his tours or videos, and the balance of his episode provides not a single usable nugget of information about social media, even for amateur shooters. He talks about photography being a way of expressing ideas, but a couple of minutes listening to this guy proves he doesn’t have an idea worth listening to. Absolutely amazing that this sort of dreck passes for informative discourse about a rapidly-evolving discipline like photography, to which there are hordes of people attracted to the easiest ways to display heir artistic impulses, and for which there are dozens of interesting strategies to pursue to get your images exposed to an audience, no matter how narrow that audience might be. But Mr. Page will give you nary a clue about either the methods or the reasons for our pursuits: this is image-making at its addle-headed emptiest. Stay away from this garbage.

Been nerding out on photography podcasts. Always look forward to Nick’s the most. Hey Nick, could you release the intro music on a loop so I could listen to it when photographing? It always gets me pumped up. Thanks for always sharing you knowledge. You’ve helped my growth immenesely.

    Motivation and education!
I am so happy I found Nick’s podcast! It has helped me fine tune my landscape vision and keep looking for new compositions in my local area. I have been going back through the podcasts and recently the YouTubes. The only problem is distraction from my day job occasionally if the sky is awesome or the path of the moon may give an opportunity to try a night shot. More recently I have been reevaluating my older picture and experimenting with Lightroom. Next up Photoshop

    My Favorite Photography Podcast
I first heard a snippet of this show on a Thomas Heaton video and got excited when I found it. I am trying to move from combat photography to landscapes and this podcast helps keep me inspired during my off times. I always look forward to the next episode to see what new things I can learn from Nick or the photographers that he interviews.

    My Favorite Photography Podcast
This is my favorite photography podcast. Professionally produced which makes it pleasant to listen to. Most all of Nick's podcasts are on subjects that I find pertinent and helpful to what I am pursuing in my photography. Nick is easy to listen to, humble and humorous. Most of all I find him to be a great teacher. Lastly, many high profile photographers respect him enough that they agree to be interviewed by him. I really enjoy listening to Nick ferret-out great information from these other photographers. I'm very glad I came across this podcast.

    Very happy beginner!
I’ve been into photography for less than a year, and this is the perfect podcast. I love landscape photography and am very hungry to learn about it. Nick does an amazing job of giving all the info you need, almost like having your own mentor. Thanks Nick!

    Thanks for the useful info
I’m really enjoying the podcast. As an avid amateur whose very committed to always advancing my knowledge and skill, it’s been a great find for me. Keep ‘em coming and your work is stunning. I’d love to hear more about exposure stacking. Stacking in general is new to me. I’m about to try it on a two week trip. It all makes sense to me but the counting clicks part is what I need a better handle on. Thanks!
