    Spotify ad is so annoying
I love the actual articles and the narrator’s voice. Def give a listen if you’re debating. My 1 nitpick that’s keeping this from being 5 stars: The Spotify ads The reoccurring Spotify ads are super annoying because they keep attempting to sell me on paying for Spotify’s premium download feature. Apple podcasts lets me download episodes for free. Does the script writer realize that what they’re advertising makes no sense to the Apple demographic/customer base? Maybe they could add some other reason for switching to Spotify or elaborate on why Spotify’s premium download feature is superior, but the current reason is nonsensical where it’s left.

    It’s only for women
None of the optimal daily podcasts are aimed at a biased audience except this one. The name is misleading, instead of optimal relationships daily, it should be called optimal relationships for women daily.
  • Whole30Momma
    Narrator’s inflection is distracting
The content is good but the narrator’s inflection turns up at the end of sentences and even in the middle of sentences.
  • anechka1
Good content, can’t bear to listen
Why does the host? sound like she ends every sentence? nay, every fraction of every sentence? with a question mark? This annoying affectation? makes it impossible to listen with any faith? into what she’s saying?
  • OldBumpie
Content good, unpleasant to listen to
Sounds like it’s being narrated by Mona Lisa from Park and Rec. The upspeak and vocal fry are too much for me, unpleasant to listen to.
  • smm9060
Not as good as the others
I say this constructively but I can’t listen to a stuffy nose and a whole personal crying part about the narrators child. I just don’t like how this OLD podcast is more personal (even if it is about relationships)

    Love this!
Love this entire podcast series and especially relationships. Love joc and think she is wonderful. Look forward to enjoying my ride to work daily with joc and all the rest of the crew! So happy that you are back!!!!!

    Good Content
I find the narrator's voice to be less pleasant or easy to listen to than the other OLD podcasts but I like the subject matter.
  • CARBOWABO
Intriguing Content but delivery needs work
The material is good but I agree with many others, the narrator is monotone and need to work on her voice as vocal fry is quite prevalent which isn’t a good fit for the content.

    Fan of the variety available
I started listening to another podcast in this group, Optimal Living Daily, so I began downloading this one too. I’m so glad that I did because the variety of the content mixes up all the time. I’m an introvert and was interested in expanding friends and relationships and this podcast gave me ideas. The family episodes come in handy and while I don’t have children, I share those podcasts with others that do because the content is so good. I wish you the best with baby #2, I’ll be waiting for your return. -Cindy

    Old relationships
This podcast is nice and short too but I wish you could tell from the title whether or not it applies to my life (single vs married, etc). I’ve turned a lot of these off two or three minutes in. But overall content is usually pretty good. No problems using on my iPhone.

A podcast to live by daily
This podcast is one of my favorites. Like many of you, you probably have a toddler or children and time can be an issue. I enjoy these episodes because I can get in so much positive information within minutes. That sets the tone for the rest of my day, and allows me to be make proactive adjustments to whatever topic I listened to that day. Last week I tuned into the topic discussion of introverts becoming extroverts. That day I had a job interview and absolutely killed it because of that episode! Thank you for providing such life changing advice for the listeners. It makes a difference. On the other hand, I was confused by jocs’ voice when I first began to listen to the show. I thought she was a robot. I got used to it, but I have noticed lately that she is sounding more human-like and I’m strangely excited and relieved? LOL. And Justin’s “hellllooooo” at the end of every episode makes me immediately tune out. Otherwise, fantastic show and I couldn’t be more thankful.

Life is complicated and there is lots of advice out there to live a better life. But how do you find and read all the content to make your life better. Not to worry. This podcast takes the best content out there about optimal living and brings it to the podcast. This podcast is going to be a lifesaver for lots of people.

    robotic voice
I wanted to like this one but the narrator's voice is disturbing. I can't get past the robotic quality of it. And the content has been just OK.

    Please consider changing the narrator
There's a few other reviewers who are on the same page as me. I'm surprised there are no more comments regarding this. This is my first review ever and I feel obligated to do so, because although I am HUGE fan of the Optimal Living Daily podcasts (Health, Personal Development, Finance), this one (Relationships) is not like the others. The narrator is extremely monotone and sounds like an infomercial. It's a shame because this is an excellent topic. I've given it a try several times but I'm sorry, the tone of narration is frustrating and it leads to not being able to concentrate/listen. I'm unsubscribing in hopes that this will change in the future so I can resubscribe. I'll also leave great reviews for the other O.L.D. podcasts to make up for this one. But please, make a change! People tune in in hopes of learning something, or even during bad times, the last thing that should happen is getting a feeling of annoyance.

    Love this!
I love listening to Joc, she has a great voice to listen to and the blogs that she reads are very insightful and helpful for any relationship!
  • Violin427
OLD is awesome but this narrator...
Sad to be giving 3 stars because I really love the OLD series - a brilliant idea and great way to share a wide variety of knowledge. But the relationship one’s narrator really misses the mark, especially compared to the other ones. I don’t know how she was chosen but I can’t pay attention for the 10min episodes because of the super monotone and robotic voice and narration. Eventually I stopped listening because I prefer to listen to all the other podcasts in my library. Sadly unsubscribing...

    Great Stuff!
Advertising takes too long against the brevity of the episodes, but the content is beneficial and professional.

    Get some quick, good advice!
Listened to the episode regarding true loyalty, how to deal with complaining, whining and negativity. It was such a great little nugget of advice. Thank you!
  • Petite elite
Love all the OLD Podcast but not this one
Wow, I can't believe how off the mark this episode on the downside to gentle parenting is. First, the narrator sounds like a angry Tomi Lauren type, not a tone I want to hear when discussing parenting or relationships. Secondly, the episode begins with a treatise on how terrible progressives are and the trite references to everyone getting a participation trophy. It's like I was listening to Fox News.

    Great podcast!!
Thank you for giving me such a great place to gain a lot of valuable information on relationships. And it is really helping me to practice my listening and comprehension ability of English. I love you and the way you read blogs out loud! Your voice is so lovely and relaxing. You speaks very clearly so I can catch what you're saying. It's really helpful for me. I can't be more thankful than this. So please keep improving this podcast and your personal life especially, your relationships. Your podcasts really have great potential to improve more, so I rated this 4 stars. Don't be discouraged! I'm really trying to encourage you!!

Please kill the cheesy sound effect oh my god
And the enthusiastic radio DJ announcer at the end. I mean, don't kill him, but lose the cheesiness. It seriously detracts and distracts.
