    D’Abate has settled in, sounds more comfortable. Uses fewer cliches. Shows with other teams’ hosts are good. Balestreri & Murphy sound slow and old.

    This particular podcast was a profanity laced, angry rant that just went way over the top. We all don’t like what’s going on, but we don’t need to hear this type of anger bordering on hate from our podcasters. We, speaking for myself at least, wish to hear the details of the game not an immature rant.

    A lot of back slapping with his buddies offering “insight” and “pearls of wisdom” and is clearly a pro Belichick person; very seldom spends significant time on anything negative about Bill.

    Mike has a habit of setting up a question with a question and his detailed analysis before letting the guest provide a short answer. Look at the recent episode with Thomas Murphy. Let the guest provide their “counsel and wisdom” by asking a short question and allowing them to provide their analysis before doing it yourself.

    Mike always has a sharp eye locked on the Patriots. His insight really helps the fanatics or even the casual fan with his information. Love his show and I look forward to it daily!

    Like-able, but long winded
    Mike is a good host but long winded and the show is slow as a result. I usually have to skip the first 7-10 minutes to get to any substantive discussion. I don’t blame him, it must be really difficult to produce a new show on the same team every weekday. Some of the guests are good, but most of the regulars are unremarkable and don’t add much. But I’m glad the show exists. Thanks for your hard work, Mike!

    Would enjoy a lot more if I could actually hear him when he has a guest!
    Not sure if he knows this, but anytime he has a guest on here, I have to crank my audio all the way up and even then, I can barely hear them! Otherwise, it’s informative! Can be a little on the boring side though

    I have suffered through my last eight minute block of sponsorships, product mentions, and commercial breaks. Sometimes I have forgotten why I tuned in. There are other podcasts that get right to the football information I’m looking for so sorry, this fan is done with this. Unsubscribed! One star on the way out because, Go Pats.

    It’s like listening to an audio book. He reads something he scripted out. Makes it very difficult to listen to because their are very little voice inflections. The content is good, Brit can be delivered better.

    Hands Down My Go To Podcast Every Morning
    Mark Schofield has terrific insight. He breaks down the plays so concisely and you really learn a great deal about the ‘chess match’ aspect of the game in addition to the underlying football knowledge every true NFL fan should possess. Highly recommend! 👍

    Upon further review, this is a good listen
    Changing my rating from 3 to 4 as there is more insight than I originally gave it credit for. However it seems a little dry (perhaps partially because it’s primarily a 1 man show so no interaction between hosts to liven it up) and is the last of the NFL podcasts I listen to - although the only one with a specific Patriots focus.

    Mark is a fantastic host. His depth of knowledge and understanding the game are exceptional. He understands the meta, the x’s and o’s, scouting, offensive and defensive systems, and everything else that relates to the game of football. This is your show, Pats fans. Mark is an active host. He answers your questions. There is a slack channel too so you can talk Pats and football 24/7.

    Mark seems like a really genuine guy. He repeatedly offered to be available to general audience for them to contact him about personal mental health issues. Be careful, Mark. They’ll wear you out. But he’s a pleasant, humorous host, he knows football and knows the pats. Great pod and a daily listen. Please have more episodes with rivals (other locked on teams) especially in our division. Thank you.

    Even as a fan of another team, Locked on Patriots is unique because you learn so much about football in general, not just the Patriots. Mark is the perfect maestro to navigate the goings on in Foxboro and give in depth breakdowns and football analysis not found anywhere else. Just as Brady directs the Pats offense, Mark directs this podcast. A must listen!
