Jaime CarmerEntertaining & InformativeStumbled across this podcast a few months ago and have not missed an episode since. I find myself laughing out loud multiple times throughout listening. Love the combination of helpful info for this modern prepper with a large sprinkle of sound effects, accents and humor!

MikeRJ72These guys are the best!I’ve listened to a LOT of podcasts and this is the only one that keeps me coming back for every episode! The practical knowledge coupled with the humor and sarcasm make every episode highly enjoyable and informative. The accents are second to none too! Keep it up guys!

BuggerOutThis podcast is quick, quiet and quintessential. Not going to lie, first time I heard my name referenced I almost got into a car accident. Possibly squealed like a little girl. I've been listening for over a year and out of all the survival podcasts, this is one that I instantly gelled with. The topics are relevant, informative and not too serious. I find myself talking back with your discussions, normally with the movie reviews and references. I learn something useful with each podcast, and I've enjoyed going back over the last years and listening to everything you've said. Thank you both for doing what you do. Stay survived. Posting from down in flooded Florida.

MrsMayo4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Mom of two, living in the great country of Texas. Been listening to y’all for years and it never gets old. Good information without a fear-mongering approach is the reason why I look forward to each new episode. And if I’m being honest, I can’t wait to hear what new accents y’all will drop, because let’s be honest, it’s only a matter of time. Keep up the good work and stay survived!

naturedaydreamThese Guys Make my Heart HappyLong time listener, procrastinating reviewer. I love this podcast. Keeps me laughing during the good times, and staying survived during the bad times. Quality and educational content. Thankful for you both! -Allyson Green

KelseySJ19I casually survived Hurricane Helene!I live in Western North Carolina, two weeks ago my town was hit and truly drowned by Tropical Storm Helene. Although my family and home were relatively unscathed, I didn’t have running water or electricity for 12 days. I’m a registered nurse and had to report to the hospital, so I didn’t have the opportunity to bug-out. I used to listen to this podcast because I like the silly voices they do, and thought it was fun to think through the various scenarios they feature. But, when I heard the storm was coming, my grab and go bag was already good to go. And I knew to have fresh water on hand, a way to cook without power, a full tank of gas, and non-perishables. I even had a way to set up a shower! I was more prepared and safer than most in my area which allowed me to show up and do my job and help those in my neighborhood. I’m so grateful to the casual prepper podcast! The advice clearly stuck in my head, and it paid off in a big way. Thank you!

TheGentleG1AntThe ultimate prepper show you never knew you needed.I’ve been listening to these two great and capable jokers for quite some time. Ever since I heard the episode on the EMP scenario, I’ve been hooked. This show is jellyjam packed full of peanut butter and all sorts of great info you never would’ve thought of in solitary confinement. My prepping routine now just consists of listening to a casual preppers episode followed by negotiations with my wife to blow the monthly budget on prepping stuff I think we need to catch up on. Thanks, guys. The only complaint I have is my wife thinks I’m over the top when I tell her to not trust the dentist. She doesn’t understand that the dentist is the real menace.
-
jeepscx10Hilarious and knowledgeable at the same timeI randomly came across y’all’s podcast a week ago and have been bing listening ever since. Between the voices, the jokes and the shenanigans that ensue doing the episodes I have taken a lot to heart and reevaluated my own plans and inventory and am making adjustments. Keep the information and shenanigans coming guys!
-
Mr DagelTactical ChickensThese guys are the funniest. They make the stress of being a prepper fun. I never miss there shows. Only complaint would be they don’t do enough of them. What episodes did the tactical chickens appear

Saltlife_2012One of the best prepping podcast out thereFrom the mundane to the stuff we all love to talk about. The sense of humor that is brought to the table may not be appreciated by all but is definitely a nice change compared to other podcasts. Educational but funny. Keeps you coming back for more. If I learned nothing else, I’ve learned not to trust a dentist during the apocalypse.

AllHailKAllHailKLucifer’s HammerYou mentioned this book a few weeks ago. I had read it as a teenager and am rereading it now. I am totally loving it! Thank you so much for your fantastic show and recommendations!
-
geo1310Best prepping podcastI absolutely love how this show is formatted. Great information without being overwhelming. The humor is great. I am a fan for life. Every time a new episode comes out it’s always first on my list. Thanks guys. #1 prepping podcast around!!!

XxxRuinationxxXCameron Interrupts too much!Cam interrupts way too much. Latest episode with Currin1776 is unbearable. You can tell he’s Star struck.
-
BlackPilledLibertyBuggin around!Always phenomenal insights to prepping. You guys don’t take yourselves too seriously. You also don’t make prepping a huge freaking deal either! An easy podcast to listen to when I’m on the road! This came from one of your older episodes whether to bug in or bug out, then came the suggestion to “bug around” and I laughed so hard at that. I always get a chuckle when I’m reminded of when you guys were goofing on “bugging around”. Great podcast guys! Hope you read this on air! Bug around and stay survived! (I’d love to hear an episode on how to prep when I’m on the road truckin)

fiahCame for the prepping - stayed for the humorDad jokes abound. Funny accents 10 out of 10. Right up my post-apocalyptic alley.

rcamp0222Oh wellAfter the review of Annie Jacobson I’m very disappointed. No real analysis just take everything as absolute. No other scenarios possible. I don’t believe if North Korea fires one single nuclear weapon at the US we would automatically chuck everything we have at every adversary. In fact we could take them out with conventional weapons quite quickly. There are other schools of thought. Don’t get me wrong I hope and pray we never find out. This book is nothing new. Been done before and will again. Still looking for a viable prepping podcast but not sure this is it.

Sine 634Edu-tainmentI won’t say equal parts for each episode, but every episode is worth my time either for learning or laughing. It is something that my husband and I can both agree on listening to (and he doesn’t usually enjoy my prepping fascination) and is often thought provoking (at the best times they make a joke but when I finish laughing I think “well, what about that?”). Also I appreciate their mindset: we’re not gurus so let’s learn together, prepare for the simplest and most common “personal apocalypse” first, and thank goodness someone says “make a plan” instead of just being about the fun toys (but if I’m being honest I get equal thrills out of my 20 page family plan and the shiny toys). Stay awesome and stay survived!

The CoolahProject 2025Love what you guys do with this podcast fellas. Entertaining and somehow lighthearted while still providing a ton of valuable information on not so lighthearted topics. Loved your recent government scenario episode… but was shocked you didn’t cover Project 2025. Can you please consider weaving this into a future episode? Political affinities aside, this is a red flag if I’ve ever seen one (especially considering we are just seeing a “public facing” version). We’ve been effectively programmed to only process through the lens of “orange man bad” or “Evil deep state swamp puddin brain Joe bad” and I’m afraid it’s shifted our eyes from the ball. Trying to read this proposal objectively and removing the political source from my mind was a terrifying exercise. Would love your weigh in. Blessings to you and yours!

Cruciform66Game Design ToolI am a game designer and both fascinated and terrified with most apocalypse scenarios. I have yet to work on an apocalyptic game, but I take a lot of notes while listening to this podcast. Casual prepping is a fun hobby that exercises the part of the brain that needs to look into the future. Thank you for your entertainment. Please keep it up!

QBRASWELLLove It❤️❤️❤️Love this show! Learning valuable lifesaving techniques and having fun at the same time.
-
Brandon8208Great topics, if they stay on topic.Overall I really like the topics they have and that they add some humor and have fun. But, I think at times they have too much fun. They stray off topic and they get lost in the jokes and humor then never recover from where they left off. They have a lot of good useful information and I look forward to future episodes.

Jack mehoff 91AwesomeAwesome show I’m not one for podcasts but I have just found these guys a few weeks ago and I’ve got caught up to 2022. Enjoy the lighter side of prepping.
-
nctowvMakes the night shift flyFirst off, love the podcast. Entertaining more than anything but lots of actual informative topics relating to prepping. I found you guys after watching the Bigfoot movie. Hot and funny, you guys are the whole package. Love the movie episodes as I’m a big fan of picking out all the dumb mistakes people make in apocalypse movies. 😂 Keep making us laugh and educating us a tiny little bit! - Amanda

20TBK12Prepared, Not ParanoidI appreciate how these dudes weave fun topics with difficult truths, like the importance of health and personal finance. After all, you need to be able to outrun the zombie dentist seeking that overdue payment…in flesh.
-
JamesPattersonNotTheAuthorTraffic GeniusesI have finally found the other two guys besides myself who understand how four-way stops are supposed to be navigated. Would recommend purely on that fact. The podcast is pretty good too.
-
Ranger2187Yup….An amazing show from two rational everyday dudes that out in alot of work and break complicated prepper issues down to the army level…. 8th grade. Need more episodes on how to siphon water from water hoses.
-
killTheSeaTurtlesYep.Very informative and homiesexual.
-
Bacon628*_Best dang preparedness podcast!I’ve listened to every single episode that’s available, back to episode 1 on Podbean! I didn’t start listening until sometime in maybe 2022 but I went back for them all and quite a few more than once. I simply have to say that these guys are my favorite place to come for anything preparedness! Great information delivered in a happy way, and that makes it crazy enjoyable. Highly recommend
-
GaairportHAM it!You need to light a fire on getting your HAM radio licenses! I got mine last Saturday. One more thing- you occasionally reference buffalos and need to check out “Guy On A Buffalo” on YouTube. 🤣
-
RicChu14Funny and informativeThe voices kill me. Y’all sound like you’d belong on an episode of Squidbillies. Great information, good laughs, chill guys.
-
kss01timeGreat info, with lots of laughsI enjoy the great humor sprinkled in with the tips and tricks to, starting to get some prepping and being aware of all the things that seem to be “written on the walls”, or inevitable with things that are happening around us. But you’re keeping it light, helps me not panic. Thanks guys for the laughs!
-
colinhenleyGreat podcastHave been listening to the podcast for a couple months now and really enjoy listening to the scenario episodes. This week I was at the Super Bowl parade in Kansas City when a shooting took place. Two or three shooters killed at least 1 and wounded 22 others. Not sure if y'all have done an episode on mass shooters but would appreciate your guys’ take on preparing and surviving mass shootings.
-
Big Mare 318Hyper aware of having my hair downHaving grown up listening to “Uneasy Rider” by Charlie Daniels Band, I was somewhat aware of the risks involved with having one’s hair fall out of their hat. I appreciate you both for really hitting that home for me. I will always keep a bald cap and makeup wipes with me at all times now. Thanks for covering the obscure topics others are too scared to address.
-
PiasacreekpatriotInformational and entertainingStumbled upon these guys by accident and haven’t stopped listening since. They give good information in a fun way. Although my fiancé is a little upset with me currently due to the recent talk about getting a Tacoma made me to get one of my own. She blames subliminal messaging. Cant wait for future episodes and hope these guys don’t go away anytime soon
-
?!$@/Just heard you guys on The DailyI’ve been listening and laughing with you guys for what seems like forever now. It’s a great show for those long cold nights in the bunker and the only prepper show I can suggest to my liberal family members. Ave Christus Rex!
-
Blergh 108Love you guys.Hey, I am a 19 year old female who loves listening to you guys! I am really into the homesteading form of prepping, and really enjoy ya’ll. You are so fun and chill, and really help to lower my anxiety about any kind of disaster scenario or emergency situation as well as give easy and practical advice. I really appreciate the humor and easy going approach to prepping. Keep doing what you’re doing and stay prepared 🤘
-
Athlete888I Was StunnedI watched a video of you guys and was stunned at how normal y’all look. I was expecting the fat World of Warcraft guy in the basement in South Park. Anyways, this has been a fun podcast to listen.
-
JesseNicelyBest Podcast EVER.You guys kill it every episode! I do a lot of traveling for my job and so I’m always listening to current or older episodes. You guys make prepping fun while serious at the same time. Also gotta love how you poke fun at everybody’s names! All I can say is Nicely done guys! Keep up the great work and watch out for those avalanches!
-
TapticHapticAmazing podcastAlright first of all, the jokes. They’re great! The accents have me dying every time, like seriously, call the funeral home and prep a burial! It’s great! And the advice is genuinely useful information. Like stuff I can employ into my life with some stocking up and drills, pretty much right now. Maybe it’s just my ADHD, but those jokes really keep me focused enough to soak up the information. I can tell they’re on the right, but they don’t let it significantly effect their podcast and guns + ammo aren’t a massive issue in this podcast (besides a sidearm they usually include in their ‘scenario’ episodes) They also don’t buy into a lot of conspiracy theories (unless they genuinely think they could happen IRL). If you want a podcast that’ll provide you with a ton of information, a human touch, and will leave you in stitches, then this is the podcast for YOU!
-
SillyDebsLove the Scenario Episodes!!Keep them coming :)
-
Cyn D Louwho(In Russian accent) I am prepared for avalanche!Love this podcast! In this mad mad world bingeing your work helps me thru the days. I’ve only been at prepping for a few months so I have a long way to go, but I’m better prepared then most! I owe that to you guys. I learn & laugh out loud! Keep ‘em coming please! Thank you!
-
TD922What’s with the accents?I’m sure some people find the on and off southern accents funny, but I do not. It makes the episodes very hard to get through.

BalloonknotI Tried A Second TimeI tried to follow this show a year or two ago, and with the state of the world today decided to try a few prepped podcasts again. I had forgotten that I tried these guys before, and then remembered about 20 mins in... The guys are funny and down to earth…but for the love god they cant get thru a sentence without joking or making a joke. Its really so dang immature. I mean, I like some joking, but I tried listening to the Nuclear scenario today and it was unbearable. Like, for some of this- take a second to get through the content without constant joking. I just cant take them serious. Again, they are funny as heck…but its just too much. They need to up their professionalism some to be taken somewhat serious. Sorry guys- just my opinion.

Alpha TerminusWhen I can’t afford 556, I listen to this podcast.I’m an MD in Iowa and a casual prepper that leans left on many issues and I despise the MAGA movement. These guys live in an area that has more Trump flags than 556s, and I can tell they are on the right, but it doesn’t permeate their discourse. They entertain but don’t buy into most conspiracy theories. They are funny. I have a basement full of 110 gallons of water, a year supply of dried food, g and a to supply a small army, 100 kw of lithium home backup, 18 kw of solar panels, three generators, and working on securing 42 Johnson rods. I gotta be able to drive my electric car when SHTF and the fuel distribution dries up (or my riding mower if an EMP hits) However prepping occupies about 1% of my time and thoughts. I just discovered this last month and have enjoyed a month-long marathon of laughing and thinking. It all boils down to one thing though…. 556! I

Catamonk24Can’t believe this show! Can’t say picttttures, Hates LA, recommends eating horse with miracle whip instead of Mayonnaise, and even suggests using IUD’s placed around the home for defense which in my opionon would be a gynecological disaster just waiting to happen!!! 2 STARS!!! • • All joking aside this show is icked up and so goamn funny I’m gonna have to listen to more since it reminds me of my group of friends and the good times being together brings! Thanks for taking the time to record your convos and I hope Western Sky finds their reason why to live when all the zombie corpse are bulldozed into the ocean.

Dougie_Fresh425HilariousCome for the sustainable knowledge, stay for the banter. Cam and Coby serve up the laughs with rabbit hole scenarios and accents.

ryderb289ME WANT BE IN LISTENER REVIEW PORTION (I love this podcast)I have been listening to this podcast every day for about a month now, and I really enjoy every episode. Everything from rolling up in the carpet to survive a nuclear winter to children farming American beetles in mother Russia to running away from squirrels while hunting Bigfeet in your grandpa’s backyard, this podcast is 100% accurate and useable material 27% of the time and great fun the other 62% of the time. I am a 15 year old in Missouri, I enjoy prepping and such, and use your podcast as inspiration for many ideas to survive zombies/EMP/Hamster Hoards. I do not know which speaker is better, the smart bearded one or the loud one, either way I recommend this podcast 13 stars out of ten, please give this podcast a listen…… 🫡

L.E.C.B.IdiotsIf you’re not listening to these guys you’re probably an idiot.

The prepping trapper10/10This podcast is awesome. I found it by looking for tips on a get home bag. After finding it I have listened to them everyday at work. From the useful tips to the laughs from the dumb comments I feel like I’m hanging out with my friends. Thanks guys for getting me through a 12-13hr work day. Quick question though. Have y’all thought about or have you added traps to your preps?
