hafnerjLove it!A great podcast for me as a new yoga teacher! Thank you

callmecordeliabloomInsightful, Hilarious & Always GroundingI could listen to these two all day, every day—no exaggeration. I’ve always loved their Yogaland episodes, but their Yoga-ish episodes? Pure joy. There have been so many moments where I’ve laughed out loud (literally burst into laughter!) while listening. Andrea is an absolute marvel, and Jason—let’s call him a gem—is just brilliant. Their chemistry is everything! I melt every time they share little stories about their daughter and her sweet adventures. Beyond the laughs, they’re incredibly inspiring. They’ve helped me understand so many yoga fundamentals, blending philosophy and science in a way that feels both grounded and accessible. Call me nerdy, but the way they articulate ideas? It kills me—in the best way. I just LOVE them. Funny and serious at the same time, they balance each other so beautifully. I’ve been tuning in for over a year now and truly, I still can’t get enough!

LindaYogaGirlNo onewho’s normal does social media. It’s really a non-issue for most of us. Truly a choice easily remedied by an exit into real life. Love the pod!
-
MizzhefkFave!I keep coming back again and again because I am eager to find out what I am going to learn about each episode! Andrea, thank you for your vision and wisdom! Jason, thank you for being a top-notch teacher of teachers!

DeadHeadYogiYogaishAlways love the content you and Jason provide but especially enjoying the addition of Yogaish! Keep it going please! 🙏 🙃

kateness IdyllwildIdyllwild yogaI just listened to the episode on the spine. Great!! I was wondering if you might consider doing an episode for yoga and osteoporosis. As we are all heading down the age path, it will be an issue for more of our students. I was just diagnosed 😢. Jason’s episode about the spine was so informative. This is my favorite yoga podcast. It never disappoints. Thank you 🙏 Kate Yoga-ish was great! I love your human-ness🙏❤️

NLHO123“Reflections on politics”I used to love this podcast. Mainly because I thought it was very informative and I always took away something new that I could apply to my teachings. However, I was extremely disappointed when politics became the topic of conversation. In a time where politics is always as the forefront, I thought this podcast could be an outlet. I don’t share the same political views or beliefs as Jason. And that’s okay to me. But this podcast made me feel like I am being shamed because I may feel differently or have different opinions. Hopefully I can return to listening one day.

thannimalYogaland is a good friend!I’ve come to rely on Andrea’s conversations as I would on a good friend whom I call when I need support. Not sure how I missed the one with J. Brown from 2018. I related to this one very deeply. “Gentle is the new advanced” is a philosophy from which we can all benefit. So much wisdom and heart in this episode. Also, really appreciate the conversation with Dr. Gail Parker. I agree that it’s important for white people to talk about race. Sounds like I’d enjoy her books too. Yogaland is always in my rotation. Thanks so much for your many years of work on this! 🩷

MaineryogiBest yoga podcastAndrea and Jason are so insightful and give great, detailed, and palatable information. This is my favorite podcast. I also recently emailed Jason a question and he got back to me which was super nice!
-
NestaBunnyMy go-to for yoga inspirationI love this podcast, and am a long time listener. Andrea is such an insightful interviewer and I enjoy the diversity of subjects she chooses. I love the ones with Jason—I appreciate the detailed anatomy (I teach pilates too) and like how he applies it to yoga. But I also get so much out of the other yoga leaders Andrea chooses. The most recent one with Dianne Bondy was particularly inspiring. I look forward to each episode. Thank you for being consistently excellent!
-
heidiwayYes! Definitely Listening! This is an excellent podcast for yoga teachers, practitioners and enthusiasts! I am a yoga teacher who has fallen off her mat, looking for inspiration and this is it!
-
Yoga in BalanceInspiring podcast, consistently fascinating even though I don’t agree with everything.I look forward to every release and the questions that arise and topics covered. Clarifies my own thinking as a very long time teacher of adults and yoga teacher. Have you acknowledged or talked about Rama Jyoti Vernon as one of the co-founders of Yoga Journal? Dr. Lasater, as much as I respect and admire her, is not the only founder. Honesty.

JGrosser63I always Learn so MuchThese podcasts are amazing! There’s such a wide range of topics! Andrea and Jason do a great job selecting topics that are relevant to yoga teachers: imposter syndrome, mudras, avoiding injuries, maintaining a home practice. And they’re both so down to earth! I hope to do a training in the future. Thank you both for sharing your passion and knowledge. You have made a huge impact on my teaching and yoga practice.
-
Einies winniesAnatomy!!I really appreciate Jason’s depth about anatomy. It helps me as a teacher and in my own practice.

Nancyy444Let Andrea podcastThis was one of my first yoga podcast I discovered. I started listening to podcasts to help inspire me to teach more. Yogaland was a gift. Andrea is so insightful, informative, and down to earth. I really took a lot of her insight to calm my teaching nerves and help me better my at home practice. I started to veer away from this podcast not bc I can’t listen to Jason interrupting her all the time. Don’t get me wrong, he’s extremely knowledgeable and has years of experience and insight, but he seems like a big know it all and it’s become less yogaland, more The Jason Show. He barely lets Andrea talk when he’s on. I cant even get to the part where she wants to get her point across bc he just won’t stop talking and interrupting. With that amount of knowledge, start your own podcast and let Andrea do hers. It comes across almost condescending and controlling. I want to love this and give it 5 stars. I felt that way on the beginning, but I’ve become less and less interested the more Jason tries to take over.

Priya 6Love 🩵This is such a consciously crafted podcast! Worth starting from the very beginning as there are so many nuggets of wisdom, facts, science, healing, you name it. It is an all encompassing yoga lifestyle platform that is very educational. Also the dynamic between Andrea and Jason is a gift to the listeners. Relationship goals. -Johanna S.

dandylionmeowobsessed!I listen to this podcast all the time. So much useful information that I always remind myself to go back for a listen and take notes. However, while Jason is a total mastermind, he sometimes tends to overrrexplain topics in a very slowed down way that can lose me halfway through the podcast. Sometimes I just want to get to the juice of what I’m listening to without too much fluff or microscopic details. I also wish there were more interviews with other yoga teachers and or students. I love Andrea’s voice and love hearing about both of their past stories coming up into becoming teachers and the differences in modern yoga now. I would like to learn more about the scientifically based benefits of traditional postures and positive explanations of postures anatomically (something short and sweet I can remember to relay in my classes), Sanskrit names, and Indian lore, culture and history of yoga, being a yogi parent in the modern world, how yoga has changed peoples lives, yoga while traveling, yoga dreams, how to connect w others when you’re the only one obsessed w yoga, inclusivity, and esoteric experiences including the bandas, naddis, chakras, etc. My fav recent episode is the one with Neeti. So relatable. And also discovered the amazing MWH platform from it! Mahalo nui from Hawaii!!! I love this show so soo much! Namaste 🙏🏽

dawnsiedBest yoga podcast - Thoughtful and Perfectly EditedThank you for a thoughtful, intelligent, and humanistic podcast that’s well edited and designed. I always know I’m going to learn a lot in a reasonable amount of time.
-
iliketorunandeat“If you don’t give us a 5 star review, then make your own podcast”5 stars just for that quote! In a world flooded with information and misinformation, this podcast has some of the most useful and well-rounded for yoga teachers. The episodes with both Jason and Andrea are my favorite.
-
Wes18267GreatI love this podcast. It’s my favorite yoga podcast👍👍👍👍
-
fromGod4GodGreat podcast for yoga teachersI’ve learned a lot!
-
Maine YogaAmazing educational but also A & J feel like the best old yoga friendsThis podcast has been a source of comfort for me since I moved / left my yoga community 7 years ago. I learn SO much from these conversations but most importantly to me, they leave me feeling like I’ve just had a good hang with great old friends. So grateful for what Jason and Andrea both offer through Yoga Land.
-
cmcbishopSo good!I needed this as I’ve had a break from yoga and this was perfect to hear about slowing down. Lots of great discussion.
-
Google chrissyJust a giant commercialI was really looking for a great yoga podcast but the two episodes I listened to were just commercials and self praise. Not really what I was looking for. I get that people need to make a buck but if you want people to listen to a podcast about yoga… the majority of the content should be about yoga. Not the classes and videos and in person blah blah blah for the first 20 +++ minutes. :(
-
bressiesmomI’ve learned so much here!I am not a Yoga teacher but enjoy a daily practice through Glo. It was there that I found Jason Crandall I recently discovered this podcast, and it is terrific. I have had a career in strength and conditioning for 30 plus years, and Jason and Andrea continue to inspire me. Jason’s knowledge of anatomy is awesome and he is able to make things really clear in his explanations. Andrea is a terrific host and keeps bringing interesting guests and topics.

Elsa Rose GCThank You for “Yoga for Motherhood”I have long appreciated what Andrea and Jason put out into the world, and I was especially affected by Andrea’s recent conversation with Naomi Annand. I’m a yoga teacher and Myofascial Release practitioner with a young toddler and I felt such solidarity listening to this episode. It came at a necessary moment. Got especially emotional listening to Naomi speak about her daughter’s dairy protein allergy; our son was miserable (and thus, so were my partner and I) with an undiagnosed dairy protein allergy the first 4 months of his life, and it was quite harrowing. The small bits of yoga—even just a brief, supported child’s pose or a few deep breaths—helped get me through and continue to help get me through when I keep coming to terms with the fact that I can’t do it all and I am, as I tell my yoga students they are, enough. Thank you Andrea and Naomi for this conversation!
-
LzarovyEverything you could want from a yoga podcastI love Yogaland!!! As a longtime fan of Jason of Andrea, I knew that they would create something unique and useful. The podcast is a lovely blend of practical, yoga posture advice, philosophical and psychological underpinnings of the practice, and thought-provoking interviews with professionals in the field. I am not a yoga teacher, but I feel like this podcast (and Jason’s classes on Glo) are my “hack” for accessing the high caliber yoga education of a teacher training. Andrea is so smart and so relatable as a mom and yoga enthusiast. She is delightful. Give Yogaland a listen, and enjoy!
-
BeckyTeschyExcellent podcastGreat info for yoga practitioners and especially for teachers. Easy and fun to listen to. A wonderful and diverse mix of topics. The host is a talented, smart and skilled interviewer, mostly because of how human and down to earth she is.
-
LindaMRGLove Andrea and guestsIm so glad Andrea is bringing guests on again. I skip the ones Jason is on, he just rambles on and on and should just create his own podcast.
-
saradoanemy favorite yoga resource!such quality content - love!
-
Sew1017So informative!I just listened to the podcasts on twisting. As a new yoga teacher who struggles with the anatomy of poses, this was so helpful. I appreciated the repetition and the direct cuing. I’m looking forward to listening to more!

caturner61WokeWhy do you assume all yoga people are woke?

Yeet7582615(968Learn something every time.I love this podcast and will listen to it walking the dog, at the gym or driving. She is super authentic and her voice is warm and open. Her topics are fresh and inspiring. Thank you for sharing with all of us yoga teachers and students!! I also love Jason’s new tutorials. Super helpful! Thank you!

mrupeUnshaken saintsMy husband and i began listening to your YouTube broadcast and then the podcast after our daughter and her husband recommended it. It was at the end of the Book of Mormon year. We listened avidly to all of the Doctrine and Covenants and look forward weekly to each Old Testament edition. We feel richly blessed and actually spoon fed by all the insights and changed points of view we have experienced by our weekly study with you. Thank you for the time you spent in study and in making this possible for us to love the scriptures even more. By the way, we are living in Puerto Rico right now. You should visit again!
-
ArahbeeThe best yoga podcastI’ve been tuning in to this for years! I love the insights, interviews, book reviews, and guidance from Andrea and Jason. It’s always fresh, usually funny and gives me something new to think about with my practice and teaching.
-
StephanieGrossmanA little confusedI love this podcast so much! I love you, Andrea, and I could listen to Jason talk about the mechanics of yoga all day long. I’m excited to listen (and watch) all the new episodes, but I was a little confused by the Reema Datta interview. I never really understood what she meant by “cultural appropriation in the yoga world.” I found her article online (hoping to gain clarity there), but I still didn’t get it. I’d love to understand exactly what she meant. I think it’s hard to love something as much as many of us love yoga and *not* want to take on what it represents to us. Maybe there’s a fine line between loving something that has such deep cultural roots and simultaneously respecting those roots from a bit of a distance. Keep doing great work!!
-
MmollLove the new additionsI appreciate this podcast and Andrea and Jason so much! The opportunity to keep learning from such generous and excellent teachers is a gift and the new “teachers companion” additions have been wonderful reminders of things learned in Jason’s trainings along with lots of new content, practices and food for thought as well. This podcast is essential for yoga teachers and practitioners alike. Highly recommended!
-
Yogalove108Yogalove108I love Andrea and Jason and how they share their combined love of yoga in the interview. Jason has helped guide me with his knowledge and experience as a respected yoga teacher. He has good insights in how to share your practice with others.
-
spasmodicherculesMay 24th EpisodeJason: “My Spanish is really good from growing up in To-leh-doh”… Like really? So distracted by this comment I couldn’t even enjoy the podcast. The first 8 minutes of this podcast episode really should’ve been edited for relevancy. Sigh.
-
JennKuzEpisode 26Just listened to the podcast w Judith Hanson Lasater about her new book. Her discussion of the pelvis was mind blowing!! Yes! patriarchal indeed!
-
anoden1Thank you!Thank you for diving into the Samkhya system! Jason does a great job of giving an overview and then diving into the details. His clear style of communication helped me to begin to understand something so complex. I have listened to your podcast since the beginning and this episode really made me want to tell everyone “you need to listen to this podcast!” Thank you so much!
-
ExcellentShowGreat Podcast for Teachers and PractitionersThis has been a great resource for deepening my understanding of this practice and so helpful in building my skills and knowledge as a teacher!
-
mnh.klpBody positivityjust listened to this episode with Amber Karnes. For where I am right now, this topic resonated and I loved her perspective and insights. I’m just starting out as a Health Coach and wanting to work with people on this very topic, personal for me as well. I am a yoga teacher and a physical therapist assistant which are also all about meeting someone where they are and that is exactly as it should be. Love her book recommendations and plan to f/u to read. Thank you so much for your work with this podcast…..Love your interview style and topics.
-
Breanne FBonus Episode: Teaching Yoga and Mom LifeThank you for this episode! I felt like I was listening to my own story. Three kids, trying to figure out how to follow my passion when my “career” doesn’t pay the bills, and feeling lost! I appreciate you sharing this story and it gives me hope!
-
Sharon from ohioResilience episodeThank you for this timely podcast on resilience. As winter, holidays and pandemic fatigue arrive, it can be difficult to remain ... hmm struggling with the right word here... positive, regulated, not a bear?! Your podcast have me a boost and set me back to a better mindset . Thank you for this and all of the work you do to provide excellent content
-

Amy U YogaA Must-ListenThis is a must-listen podcast for yoga teachers and anyone interested in deepening their yoga practice. Andrea and Jason are tuned into the nuances of modern yoga and have a ton of valuable knowledge to share. This is hands-down my favorite yoga podcast.
-
SrujanaaoukYou guys motivate and inspireAndrea, thank you for willing to create this podcast in the first place. I love the conversations between Jason and you and they are so timely, that I have learned so many things from many many conversations between you. I love how you are pulling in different backgrounds and keep it very informative. Keep up the good work!
-
Flow Jo1Your Students Need YouThank you Andrea and Jason for your heartfelt explanation on why content matters. It was so helpful to me when you suggested to use a nugget from your class to make content from. This idea is such a welcoming thought that I had never had. Writing a blog sounds like climbing Everest to me ( and I rather climb Everest) but when you added that doing so also makes you a better teacher, it ignited a spark in me. This episode resonated with me on the subject of creating content like no other post, news letter or pod cast has ever had before and I listen to many. I believe it is because of your openness and honesty of your personal experiences and thoughts. Thank you for being candid, it has made me feel like maybe I have a fighting chance in the world of on line yoga. Your work is very much appreciated.
-
