I am loving this podcast. Heard about Talkville first and heard you as a guest on their show. Went to your show and am having so much fun. Knocked out 30 episodes in about 2 months and love all the insights and the tally board. Being from Houston I love the references and just really relate to my own experience from my Smallville first watch. My middle name is named after Lana so I am partial to Superman lore. Your podcast is excellent and I will blur my way to catch up! Your specials about MOS and other Super media is so bonus! 5 stars! Thank you! Edit: took me about a year but I am completely caught up and have loved all of it. I am now anxiously awaiting for the next and final season. Been a great ride and I have found other great podcasts because of this one. Always hold onto this podcast!

Found this podcast through rewatching smallville on Hulu in august of 2023. I started in season 7 since that was where i was in my rewatch. I love the banter between the guest host and Zach. I love that we all don’t agree on different aspects of the show but all love the show overall. Keep up the good work because we still have a season and a half to go! lol

After listening to the recap of 8 seasons I think this is the best Smallville rewatch podcast I’ve come across and it has spawned several great “Always” rewatches under its umbrella. Not only do they go in depth about each episode and give great insight, but the friendships Zach has with his guests are well rounded, genuine and the conversations make for a refreshing listen. I appreciate the banter and honestly I don’t know that I would change anything about the format of this show. Looking forward to the finale two seasons!! I give this podcast 3 Roses and 2.93 Lance Lasters.

I’ve been listening to Always Hold Onto Smallville since they were on season 3 & they continue to be one of my all time fave podcasts!

I started to listen to the podcast because I was missing smallville. I am so happy I found this. The only bad thing about it is. I caught up with it and now I have to wait every week for a new episode.

Great podcast for revisiting Smallville episodes. Even after all these years I can watch one I’ve seen so many times and not pick up on something these guys do be it about the plot, props, or characters. They are good humored and just a joy to listen to when you want to go that much deeper into a wonderful world that not just entertains us but builds our hope as well. Great job!

Smallville came out before I was born and I didn’t get into it until I was in the 7th grade, a few years after it had ended. People my age were not talking about this show and no one new what it was- many still don’t. Smallville is my comfort show. I watch all the seasons every winter through spring paying tribute to when I first started watching it 7 years ago, for context I’m as old as the show itself lol. I have been listening to the Talkville Podcast with Michael Rosenbaum & Tom Welling. I thought this was the only podcast where I could hear anyone talk about each episode in depth. Even still, the podcast doesn’t go as in depth as this podcast, nor analyses from a long term fan perspective, which is both interesting and wisful at the same time. I found you all through Talkville when you came on to chat with the two! I did not walk, I RAN to your podcast and started listening to it on my way to school and while working through homework. I enjoy you talking about Supergirl, Arrow, Flash, and all the DC/Marvel Comics amd show, which is comforting because I became a fan of the comics and shows through Smallville. I really enjoy the rants, voices, and hilarious commentary. Like the show, this podcast has really helped my anxiety, has given me a niche and community of people who are as passionate and interested about the show as I am. I’m only 18 episodes/podcasts in of the first season as of this post, but I’m so excited for the long journey ahead. I appreciate you guys, this podcasts, and everything you are creating! It warms my heart knowing there are people put there who can joke about the show like me but at the end of it, have a deep love and respect for the cast and show. P.S. I couldn’t stand the epiosde Kinetic either in the first season, but it was definitely my favorite episode of this podcast with the constant “Dude Bros” comment. It was hilarious!!! This podcast has gotten me through some hard thing this year, just like Smallville did so many years ago. I always wished for the ability to go back and watch the show as if it was the first time again and somewhow Always Hold on to Smallville has given me this wish and opportunity! I cannot thank Zach and his amazing guest enough for goving me a place to fall in love with Smallville all over again!! 🥰

One of the best Superman/Smallville podcasts ever that I’ve listened too. The podcast is great and I always love how they explain the episode in details. Zach Moore is great and I also love his guests especially Lance Laster who is my favorite. I highly recommend this podcast to diehard Superman/Smallville fans.

Love this podcast! I’ve been a fan of Smallville since it aired on TV, and while I’m rewatching Smallville again I discovered this podcast through Talkville. This is the ultimate Smallville podcast - Zach’s knowledge about the show and the details really make you appreciate each episode! The guests who join the podcast are great. Currently on season 3 and enjoying going to this podcasts after rewatching each episode.

I started watching Smallville back when it was airing repeats on ABC Family, then started to watch Season 5(6?) live as it aired as well. After falling off for a bit I caught up by buying the DVDs after the Finale and Bingeing in two weeks. Then in January 2021 with the World still in shambles I needed the bright light of Superman and Clark Kent back in my life and started rewatching, this time with my wife. She started to really dig it and we would watch it all throughout 2021. During that time I found this wonderful podcast to listen to as I binged the episodes. Zach and his guests are great and fun to listen to, full of anecdotes from when they watched the show originally, Trivia details from the season guide books and just a wealth of Superman information. I love this podcast! I am extremely late to the party and only started watching Smallville this past summer. I am not very knowledgeable on comics or Superman in general, so when I started listing to the podcast simultaneously watching the show, I have learned so much about the DC universe, and comic book world in general. I not only enjoy the discussions you have with your guests wether you agree or not, but I love when you go off on tangents that may have nothing to do with the episode or even the show. If you enjoy listening to show recaps wether your a super hero fan or not, you will love this podcast. Keep it up, and keep ‘em coming!

I started watching Smallville in the mid 2000. I never finished the series, but always wanted to. When I came across this podcast I finally restarted the show. Zach does a really good job with his commentary and his guests are awesome. Lance is my favorite guest. They are always making jokes and I end up laughing so hard when they are together. I would highly recommend this show to anyone looking to bring some happiness to there day. I’m only on season three right but I will continue listening to the end. They do have a lot of spoilers, and at first I was upset. Now, I can’t wait to see what they have talked about. I would give this podcast an A+.

By far the best content regarding Smallville. The Smallville show was a very intricate part of my life. I am glad someone is continuing giving the spot light to a show that kept in the light, when I could’ve slipped into the darkness of life. Please keep the content coming.

The show’s host, Zach Moore, delivers informative and entertaining content for every episode. I must also add that his co-host and helmer of Always Hold On To Arrow, Lance Laster, is always a joy to hear as well. I am a proud roundtable patron and occasionally appear on the 33.1 roundtable episodes, which is always the highlight of my month. If you are looking to learn more about Smallville or join in on fun conversations about the show and other superhero / IP-related content, then this is the podcast for you! Rating: 10/10 P.S. My fiancé loves ur podcast!!! I've watched a little of smallville in the past. It's not that bad of show.

When the show originally aired I liked it but fell off from watching it around season 4 or 5. But with my Superman fandom steadily increasing over the years I wanted to go back and finish Smallville. This podcast is the prefect companion to the series. Zach and his ever changing rotation of guests are fun to listen to and very knowledgeable about the series. You can tell that Zach is a passionate Superman fan not only because of all the content he puts out for the show, but because of his boundless energy and enthusiasm in discussing all things Superman. Thanks for making this show, Zach. It’s very much appreciated by this fellow Superman fan.

A lot of negativity when scenes / characters don't play out the way they want them to

I’ve loved this podcast for a while now. I listen for the nostalgia when it comes to Smallville and the discussions on current superhero shows and other related content. It’s basically the “Always Hold On To... Extended Universe” at this point with the additional brother/sister podcasts. I think this is a great group of people behind these podcasts. Well done.

I don’t normally write reviews but this podcast has earned it. I’ve been a long time fan of the show smallville and frequent rewatcher of the show and was browsing for more smallville content when I stumbled onto this podcast I enjoy Zach’s and his cohosts comments on the show and occasionally find myself correcting them or adding my own comments while driving around in my car(that’s when I mainly listen to the podcast). I enjoyed them bringing up things I never noticed before listening to the podcast and I even started noticing things myself while rewatching the show with the podcast(even though I’ve lapped them a couple times in rewatching the show). I love the tally board that Zach keeps and it inspired me to do one of my own (I know I’m a huge nerd I can’t help it). If you are a fan of smallville like me you need to listen to this podcast it has given me a new perspective on the show and made it even more enjoyable to rewatch the series. The podcast helps fuel my obsession with the show. This is my favorite podcast to listen to, and I can’t wait to listen to Zach’s perspective on the later seasons.
