If you’re looking for a boring how to podcast, this is not the one for you. It’s a movement to bring your souls purpose into the world.

Every episode feels like a master class, worth paying for. James Wedmore and Jenni Finley share some of the most valuable information on mindset, personal growth, marketing from an entirely original and insightful perspective, and spirituality that can be rolled into whatever your belief system is. . Truly one of my most favorite and most recommended podcasts to listen to and share with friends/fellow entrepreneurs

I found this podcast through many other podcasts I listen to and it is by far the most information rich podcast out there on digital marketing and building a freedom-based business. There is zero fluff on most episodes. James just delivers the goods. I would love to be in BBD one day because I know the information there will be transformative. I can even see the influence James has had on the other coaches that I am attracted to! It’s like a magician showing you the tricks that have worked on you in the past! Now the bad part. I find Jenni extremely annoying when she is on episodes with James. I like her and she seems like a sweet person, but she is often off topic, does not seem to really know what is going on half the time, and her summaries of what James just said are usually just left of correct (based on my understanding of him). Really their interactions just make me uncomfortable. It just feels like she is trying way too hard on episodes with James, like she wants to impress him or something. I like her interviews with others though. But together they are just cringey.

If you’re looking to mix things up as an entrepreneur and learn to zig while others are zagging, this is a great show to try. James (and Jen) have an energetic, thoughtful approach for entrepreneurs. I love this in the show notes: “Success is created by mindset over strategy, magic over metrics, and attitude over action.” This is my kind of show! The guests are interesting and well-moderated. Check this one out.

I listen to podcasts all the time and I love them! But this one in particular talking about the 95/5. I am a trainer and we talk about dog training in a sense of it should be 95% direction and 5% correction when done right! I just love that because it resonated very deeply within me because that is how I teach my clients.

This is an information rich podcast that I would recommend to any of my friends, but I do have ONE recommendation to improve user experience. If you could, please don’t whisper, James to create a more consistent volume throughout the podcast. I listen in my car during my commute as I’m guessing many do, and it’s impossible to hear you, James when you whisper. James has a habit of getting super quiet as a way of emphasizing information. If I rewind and replay, my ears are literally blown out when you return to his regular speaking voice or when Jen speaks. I just skip these sections now, but it’s kind of frustrating. Using the whisper voice to emphasize content only works when you are in person in a quieter setting OR if you’re not hard of hearing in any way. Is there a way to create a more consistent volume throughout the podcast?

I have listened to a lot of episodes of this show. I have purchased BBD. I think James is a very smart business owner and consultant. And, I think Jen has good insights to leadership skills and qualities. However, this podcast has become an hour to an hour and a half of James bringing up a topic for discussion and that turning into Jen singing his praises, and then James singing Jen’s praises. The content is in there and could be really helpful, but I end up fast forwarding most of it because it’s the same things being said show after show. I think the show was much better when it was just James teaching the content and not a platform for two people to talk about how great the other person is.

I am a real estate investor. A newbie yearning to create a generational portfolio for my son. I heard James’s podcast with The Bigger Pockets guys. I resonated so clearly with his episode that I knew I needed to subscribe and adopt a lot of the principles and way of life. Since then, I’ve barely listened to anything else. I mean obsessed. Even though I’m not a “coach” I learn so much from this show. The spiritual and mindset POV is exactly what I need to flood my heart and mind since I’m working on flipping that switch. Thank you for starting my days off with Inspiration and continuing to pound these business skills into my daily (usually2-4 shows a day)into my subconscious. Thank you for sharing your experiences. I discovered James by listening to the Jim Fortin podcast. I have never ever considered myself an entrepreneur, though I have a creative mind and do some hobbies on the side for others… anyhow, I fell in love with listening to all the other episodes that James has done that haven’t had anything to do specifically with his Business by design. The amazing interviews he’s done with other inspirational ppl has been what has had me hooked! His voice and personality are the perfect combination that are just one piece that keeps me listening! My husband and I both have become so happy listening to this podcast that I am constantly recommending this podcast to friends and family who could use the inspiration! If you love James then you should absolutely tap into listening to Kathrin Zenkina, the Manifestation Babe (LOVE HER TOO) and Jim Fortin! I really cannot say enough about these three people and how honestly there have been many days they have literally saved my life! The mind is an amazing thing, but so many times it can be a Debbie downer that can be negative and suffocating… the combination of James and co. And everything they ALL teach has helped stop my negative thinking and helped change my mindset and honestly just helped me feel better. On an entrepreneurial side, my husband and I both have perhaps wanted to jump into being our own bosses and just not sure where to start, if you’ve ever been in that boat, James is just the person you need to listen to to help boost you in the direction you need! He has absolutely helped get those ideas flowing and helped get excited about all the possibilities in business and in life! I’m just thankful for all he has brought to my life through this podcast! I can always tell when my heart is truly touched and en-couraged (something I need a LOT these days as I embark on my own BBD journey!) because I start to feel a little soft & weepy. So insightful. I love business by design.

James takes you on a trip with him. He takes you behind the scenes, into the trenches, see the wins and learn from mistakes. I always walk away with either a new idea or a great reframe on something I’m struggling with.

I wish he would just focus on the content instead of trying to be funny when he’s just not. Each episode could be 1/3 of the length if he would just get to it and not feel the need to have people like him. Even his cohost is annoyed with him but she plays along. Too many other shows covering similar content to sit through amateur night.

Looking through your episodes you are bringing so much amazing knowledge, inspiration, and actionable tactics. What you have created is amazing. Well Done!

This podcast is 🔥🔥🔥! James is smart, funny & overdelivers every single episode. This podcast will teach you so much but you’ll also just have a good time too! The only problem I have is sometimes when I listen while running James makes me literally lol which isn’t great for my breathing whilst running. Otherwise 💯💯💯!!!

The fact that I haven't left a review up until now is inexcusable, because James and his teachings have been such an invaluable part of my entrepreneurial journey. I started a training with JW and I have found it super inspiring. I am now following his podcast to stay on track and grow my business to the level that I know I can.

What a powerful question James asks Emma in episode 620. I keep asking myself this question anytime I want to do something “scary” to move my business forward. James also says something along the lines of once you really get how your work impacts one person, and the ripple effect of good that creates in the world, all the fears won’t matter anymore. This is a really good one. Go listen.

I just finished listening to the the imposture syndrome episode with Jennifer, and it truly hushed my worried mind. It might take a while to listen to this way, but you really have to pause and write down when something comes to you. I wrote down all my imposter statement/questions, the questions to dismantle them, and how I could cope if it actually came true. I feel so free lol even if it ever pops back up, I can re-ask the questions. Mind blowing stuff right here. 🥲

This podcast really puts things into perspective and helps you see from a different viewpoint. James has great metaphors that really help things click so you remember them better and helps you apply what you learn to your life. The best part about this podcast is he doesn’t spend 10 minutes every episode trying to sell something he created. I don’t mind that from others’ podcasts, it just makes me lose attention/interest, whereas James just jumps right into the topic and it’s great. Definitely recommend!!

James is one of my favorite people to listen to! He shares stories about how to incorporate spirituality and business to create a true heart filled business. Go beyond the normal advice on how to create your ideal business and incorporate the law of attraction, passion and more into your formula. It makes a huge difference!
