*Mom of two littles*Getting too politicalI absolutely loved listening to all the episodes about nutrition and healthy lifestyle for kids and adults. Since the pandemic, this show has become so aligned with radical right and conspiracy theories that I can’t justify following anymore

Montara California.Best everHilda you do such a good job at keeping the interviews on track and real. It has changed my life. The content is relevant. You don’t get confused by fads and crazy diets. It’s so Westin Price.

kkatscanLife changingBest health podcast out there. Covers all aspects of health and wellbeing bravely and thoughtfully. I’ve learned more here than anywhere. My must listen show every week.

Kate JNA great place to be lied to.One would think an episode titled "bird flu facts" would have actual facts about bird flu. Unfortunately that was not the case. I am incredibly disgusted. Both you and your guest are either incredibly misinformed or are downright lying. Your guest pretends to be a researcher and yet nothing he said was accurate. For example, there was not "one cat" who has died from bird flu. We are up to upwards of 40. Cats, along with wild mammals, have had documented H5N1 avian flu infection throughout the United States and beyond for over 4 years now. Until this virus began infecting dairy cattle in March, mammals in the U.S. were getting infected by scavenging wild birds who were infected with the virus, leading to very unpleasant deaths. That includes the cats. The deaths in the poultry farms have been enormous. The ways of commercial poultry operations have absolutely contributed to the outbreaks we are seeing now, as the spillovers from wild birds into those farms is what caused this is the first place. The ongoing infections in dairy cattle is a huge concern, not because the food supply won't be safe, but because the dairy industry really isn't doing anything about it. This particular strain of H5N1 has been infecting more wild birds and more mammals than ever seen before. No one knows why. Sure, any government could try to take advantage of such a situation to manipulate the food supply. But the virus is real, it’s here now. These H5N1 viruses from these animals have been genetically sequenced, the sequences published online for anyone to see. Instead of pretending that influenza doesn't exist, you should use your platform to draw focus to the dairy industry's failures here. It is a huge problem. The more this virus circulates in novel mammalian hosts, the more likely it is to adapt to those hosts, including humans. THOSE are the actual facts. You don’t lose anything by reporting the facts. Why would you choose the opposite? In the future, please stay away from any topics about infectious disease. That is clearly beyond your capabilities. There are people out there taking this outbreak seriously, because if they don't, it could lead to something much worse. That isn't a fear tactic, that is just a fact. I realize the distinction is lost on you given the content of this episode. I will be reporting this episode directly to Apple given the complete falisifcations about topics of ongoing medical concern.

Wellness MontanaLove (WP)…I love Weston Price, and the overall philosophy of whole foods for “Whole Life”! I love your podcast and I love how you will host people that are outside of the “vein” even if I disagree with them. For example, you recently hosted Dr. Tami from Bio Thrive and as a medical doctor, she definitely has a different perspective. For example, I went to her website and she actually on her service page she actually recommends the use of Semaglutide for weight loss. This is so unfortunate! In the long run this product will cause so much harm and so much damage that it will eventually be taken off the market with massive lawsuits. Until then, people like Dr. Tami will continue to make money off of these harmful therapies. So yes, I find this frustrating, and yet I agreed with 82% of her presentation. Thanks again for all the work that you put into these podcasts. And yes, even though I disagree with Dr. Tami, the podcast gets a five star review because you are willing to interact with people even when they have a different perspective or even if it doesn’t conform with (WP’s) principles. Thanks again from Bozeman, Montana. Dr. Justin (Wellness Montana)

YoddleupyoyoBrainwashed in the best way!I started listening a little over a year ago and made it my goal to listen to every single podcast after the first one! 488 podcasts and lots of hours later, I hit that goal easily and am happy that my view on the world and goals have changed drastically. I love your variety of guests/topics and will always be a listener and sharer of this podcast! ❤️

shareeeeëSuch a wide array of guestsI truly enjoy the panoply of guests that all offer such a unique niche. unlike many podcasts, this one seems to tie all these tiny practices to the larger web that bring us back to health and wellness in a holistic practice without making a sale. It is empowering to the individual to do the things they deem will bring health to their life, not just “buy my magic pill” or “start my magic program”. And the tone stays very light, thank to its gratuitous hosts dedication to stay curious

NourishtheLittlesLove for Wide TraditionsThis podcast is a gem and so needed in a world overloaded with misinformation about health and wellness. Everybody needs to listen to it and share with your friends. Thank you Hilda for producing fabulous episodes week after week and bringing the message of the foundation to a wider audience. 🫶

Shaun McCartyMy favorite podcast!Listen, learn, grow!

Brent 93Incorrect informationOn your recent episode about fish, the guest gave grossly misleading information and frankly incorrect information about wild caught fish. Don’t misrepresent an entire industry just to build sales for your business. Shame
-
CKFoodieGreat podcast! This is an excellent podcast that brings to light a variety of issues related to health. I have learned so much by listening over the past few years. The topics that are discussed are unique and thought-provoking as well!

News thisBetter than Gold!Hands down, this podcast is one of the most valuable discoveries I’ve made. Recently, I stumbled onto the exceptionally assembled landmark book on Nutrition and Physical Degeneration, by Weston A Price, and I’ve been inspired by its content and timeliness as it was written over 80 years ago, prior to commercialized foods infiltratin every culture and . This led me to what I’d argue is one of the most enlightening podcasts available. It is a treasure trove of authentic, wisely guided nature-centered discussions, when they are needed most. Since we all are faced with food counterfeits and threats to our health, this discovery came at a great time for me! I’ve listened to over 70 episodes and shared dozens and tested the ideas and just joined the WAP foundation today. Hilda gets my sincerest accolades and thanks for guiding excellent discussion and bringing to light lareas of legitimate value! I only wish I’d have dialed this in 20 years ago, but, hey, glad to have this resource, it really is better than gold.

Rick L. G.So much pseudoscience in one placeThis podcast claims to be science based, but is actually the opposite. The short disclaimer at the end says it is not intended to be medical advice, but many of the guests absolutely give dangerous advice (e.g. drink your own urine, treat heart attacks and strokes at home). What little good information that is given is lost in the garbage.

Ray of Sunshine36LoveThis is one of my favorite podcasts.

scotty321Hilda needs to interview John RichardsonHilda needs to interview John Richardson of Richardson Nutritional Center to discuss how cancer is simply a Vitamin B-17 deficiency, just like scurvy was simply a Vitamin C deficiency. This is my personal problem with this podcast — it gets repetitive because Hilda only sticks to the same topics — get sunlight, eat animal products, and avoid seed oils. It would be great to see this podcast expand in new directions. For example, bring on John Richardson of Richardson Nutritional Center to talk about how Vitamin B-17 is the cure for all forms of cancer. Talk about intermittent fasting for autophagy & burning fat. Talk about how paper straws are toxic but they’re being pushed on us. Let’s expand into other topics!

ProudChicanaProfoundly Impactful!I found your podcast in 2020 after the world changed forever. Prior to this, I had zero interest in listening to ANY podcast, as they seemed like a new trend wagon everyone was hopping on. The topics you highlighted with passion alongside the incredibly intelligent & reputable guests, had me hooked immediately. I’ve always been somewhat skeptical, even as a child; asking too many questions, never satisfied with the short answers indicating I HAD to believe what I was told, especially when it didn’t make sense. I have been on an unraveling journey since the end of 2019, when I became a grandmother and could sense the world as we knew it was shifting in profound ways. Your show has been an intricate learning journal of sorts, many episodes introducing me to ideas I’d never been exposed to or experts I may have not been introduced to otherwise. I share your podcast, the learning journey and WAPF details with anyone who will listen. Thank you for pursuing this passion; YOU and those involved have impacted my family in such a beautifully positive manner. Some episodes have not been for me, but the simple thing is, I skip to the next. My point in sharing that is for anyone who may not agree with an idea/topic that is shared, it may be just what another listener needs. Why waste energy/time on tearing down your unique concept? For anyone listening, if you don’t dig it/agree with it/are offended by it, perhaps examine WHY you are feeling that way. If that’s too deep, move on! I’m sure there are plenty of entertaining podcasts out there that don’t touch on reality. If that’s more your jam, own it and leave this one to those of us who deeply appreciate uncomfortable subjects & conversations. Sincerely, The Proud Chicana

Pinkopal100Thank you!I may not agree with everything on this podcast 100%, but I’m confident the host and guests are doing what they can to get a the truth of nutrition and healthy living! I’m so grateful for this resource. This Podcast along with good books like “Gut and Physiology Syndrome” as well as “Nourishing Traditions” have helped me heal my anovulatory cycles and given me real improvement for the first time on my infertility journey. I’ve had 3 normal length cycles after nearly 3 years of only 1-2 cycles a year! So grateful for the wisdom shared on this podcast as it has helped me support my body to heal through proper nutrition. 😊

middle-path-please-relaxSadly MisinformingUPDATED EDIT: my previous review was too gentle. I think the information in this podcast has strayed to ridiculous and harmful realms. Its anti-fact and completely oblivious to reality. I can’t believe the latest guest said “if it weren’t for PCR tests we wouldn’t have even noticed COVID”… excuse me?? This is what happens when you shut yourself off from the world and live in a bunker of fear and “alternative fact”. It’s sad and frustrating to hear such lack of empathy and truth. //// I approached this podcast open minded knowing that I could pull good info from it even if I didn’t agree with some of the host and guest’s viewpoints. I tried this but the misinformation was sadly too prevalent to filter through. I am sure many who share some of these conspiratorial beliefs will look past the lack of science and information provided given that their bias is already being confirmed and validated by opinions but I do hope that the people new to this podcast and ways of thinking will take it all in with a grain of salt, think critically , etc. Yes to raw milk and nutrient dense food, no to losing your mind over emf fear and vaccine conspiracy . Also, the emphasis on anti-government/big corporations is completely negated by the fact that the ads are promoting buying from Amazon, the podcast even has a special code to profit off it. It’s wild!
-
hid123356789Nurturing SonsDo NOT follow this woman’s extremeky biased recommended suggestions. This episode has so much faulty and dangerous wrong medical information that is being passed Around without the authority to do. She is so one sided and narrow minded and nieve in the things she states. Millions of kids lives have been saved from these medicines. And we in the mental health field are so thankful for that and for the life saving medicines.

Delete and ReinstallConspiracy ladenThey can’t really think people are dumb enough to fall for all of this, correct? Makes you wonder about their food claims. They’ve discredited themselves.

emaheg😐There’s an episode about drinking your own piss. If they’re going to talk about drinking urine do you really think you should be listening to them?
-
mjpmaskeSugar!!This was a great short, informative podcast. I already new these things, but the review is a huge reminder that the level of sugar we consume is not normal or good for us in anyway shape or form. I appreciate the refresher/reminder and will get back in the low sugar course! Great timing for this podcast as big holidays are over and many are wondering why they feel so bad and why everyone is sick around them.

dandy momNew listener! Grateful for the much needed information!I am so glad I found your podcast! I found it through the Spillover podcast and have been devouring episodes ever since. NataleesssThe real reason we all dream of homesteadingAs a young mom, I have fell into the craze of homesteading, canning, and the aesthetic of old-fashioned frontier life. I believe the true passion behind this homesteading trend, that began over, sweeping the world during the pandemic, is rooted in a desire for true nutrition.Hilda does a fantastic job at introducing us to new ideas along with the urgency to nourish the next generation. I think moms everywhere are being guided to the simplicity of nourishment to save the next generation. As someone who has felt a great deal of chronic pain in my life, for a young person, I am convinced I am meant to help my family by finding how to nourish myself first. The comfort of this show, the way it’s presented, paired with the urgency to nourish is in perfect balance to give confidence. Go buy your chickens, both frozen and live and start somewhere.
-
MackenzieKuhuStill listening years laterI’ve been listening for years and I still enjoy the topics and conversations that Hilda has with her guests. As someone who thinks critically, has autoimmune issues, lives a simple life abroad, and is raising children whom I want to be healthy, this is one podcast I always enjoy and find worthwhile spending time listening to.

PLA SykesvilleWhat you need to know about the new Covid vaccineAnother fantastic show! I long for the day when our kids are vaccine free. When Doctors can tell the truth about health care and laws are written to protect us and not Big Pharma and the rest of the Big X.

Rings101Love this show!!I get excited when a new show comes out. I Love all of the very truthful shocking facts and jaw dropping information that I learn every week from Hilda and her guests. After each show I think about all that I learned all day and it totally consumes me. It just makes me wish I could live on an island with no pollution, somewhere far from here, growing my own crops, raising livestock, while keeping my family safe. Thank you for telling us the truth about the world.
-
AmeeandaVital information!I am eternally grateful for this podcast. Hilda and her guests bring life-changing, beneficial information each week and I learn something new every time I listen. My entire family has benefited tremendously from the knowledge I’ve gained from this podcast. And while I sometimes feel like “the crazy raw milk lady” in my community, I know that I have kindred spirits all over the world thanks to Wise Traditions. Keep up the important work of sharing the wisdom of our ancestors. We need it now more than ever!

thyme4lavenderPositive and informativeI’ve been listening for awhile & finally took the time to do a review. This is one of my favorite podcasts because it literally provides unbiased information, topics, that make you do your own research and help you make your own decisions. I thoroughly enjoy the host, guest speakers as they range from farmers, scientists, drs and my favorite alternative healers/practices. creation stewardessOnwards and forwardsAfter years of trauma and many near death experiences, including withering away to a mere 50 pounds from parasites and mold, I never have let go of my dream to travel the world, teaching and learning ancient traditional ways. I have been miraculously healed after years of trying everything. Through it all your podcast has encouraged me with hope and reminded me there are other like minded souls around me. I have now been backpacking through the world for 7 months now, visiting villages, learning, teaching, and observing. My dream has come true all Praise to God and I’m so grateful for all the wisdom I gleaned from you along the way. I continue to listen wherever I go, whether it’s with water buffalos in Bulgaria, baking bread off grid in France, butchering pigs, shepherding goats… I am constantly reminded of where I used to be and how grateful I am to be where I am. I am committed to being the resistance and stand with you along the way!

GrowingFamNo politics or money, just informationThis show is one of the few helpful podcasts I’ve ever tried, where information is not vague but useful, and the tone is respectful even to those who have different viewpoints (while not backing down from their own). If you are looking for nuts and bolts ways to take better care of yourself and your family through what you can eat and even grow, this podcast is one I would nudge you to!
