    Chris Mannix is a hack.

    Rave in cabo.
Lakers lakers. Does anyone else play in the NBA? sad. Like get up in the morning on ESPN. The original open floor wouldn’t do this over and over. Sad.

    RIP a great podcast
They moved to a different feed

    Pina beyond biased
Pina gives ridiculous takes most notably as to the Lakers. Born in Boston and lives in Brooklyn. Joe Tsai mouthpiece.
  • D0ZE1
Fun hoop talk, but Ro makes it abt himself too much
Really enjoy their basketball takes. Especially when the subject matter is really focused and the guys aren’t riffing. In other words, I’d love if they kept it about basketball and did away with commentaty about Korean dramas & Pusha T. My biggest complaint tho is Rohan stepping all over everyone’s takes by cutting them off. “Can I just say something?” Why ask if he’s just gonna blurt out stuff the instant it pops into his head. On the last ep I listened to, he was asked a question THREE times and just kept going off on tangents. Finally, the guest host just answered it for him.

    First Time, Long Time
Shout out to HRH Rohan, an absolute legend, who has been doing yeoman’s work filling in for MTPP. More Shelby, less Jeremy Woo, please!

    Best NBA Pod 👍
These guys are the best. Funny but seriously in depth analysis of the league. My go to pod for everything NBA.

    Bad takes

High quality sports talk, low quality politics
    Spare me your political opinion
  • REDROVER86
    Meh
these guys have sold analysis but pretty brutal chemistry, still not sure why they didn’t pay sharpe/golliver

    Too much fanboy pandering
Most of the time the show has really good analysis and is a fun listen. But the host has a major blind spot in his slobbering love for his Boston Celtics. It gets to be a drag. If I wanted to hear from fanboys I would just log on an SB site. I’d prefer more unbiased conversation. When they talk about the rest of the teams in the NBA it’s a really excellent show. Hope they tone that down.

Fantastic NBA Pod! Please release more episodes.
Michael, Rohan and Chris put a fantastic podcast!! Please stick with any combination of these 3 hosts & consider releasing more episodes per week!! Keep up the great work all!! This is the place to come for insightful NBA discourse.

How does anyone listen to this?
Came for the Stavros guest spot, loved it, but how on earth is this the podcast of a national news agency? Discord notifications going off, smash cuts to ads in the middle of sentences - insanely unprofessional. Ridiculous, won’t bother listening to more.
  • Kbraidz
    1 star.
This Podcast used to be pretty good. But it fell off a cliff. But if you’re looking for a Celtics homer pod by guys who only watch Celtics & Heat games, this is the pod for you.

    Boston over Miami 😂
This podcast is a joke Boston over Miami in title favorites is absurd not worth investing time in further.
  • Ryan184
    Call it what it is.
If I wanted a homer 76ers podcast I’d find one.

Still holding it together without Golliver
Even since the departure of podcast legend Ben Golliver, this pod continues to provide some of the best NBA content and analysis around. Big love to Chris Herring and Rohan Nadkarni who manage to provide insight about teams other than the Celtics and didn’t nickname themselves “the pod”. Shouts also to Michael Pina, who does a great job hosting and doesn’t take nearly enough heat for his homerism. (Yes, that was a double entendre.)

    I Miss Goliver
I listened a ton back when it was Ben and Andrew! Don’t love it quite as much anymore. Chemistry definitely doesn’t feel the same. Oh well, lots more pods to listen to out there!
  • akbballbabyboy
    Mostly good
Mike + Rohan = sassy perfection Anyone + Chris= skip episode.
  • Cmvsal
Y’all are ok but I’m giving 5 cuz I like the old guys
I love listening to national writers about how they view the Warriors start. People poke holes in the warriors like they’re comparing to the dynasty and not the other teams. The other teams don’t look good regardless of strength of schedule

    Best NBA pod
Welcome to the woke new order. Where if you don’t vote blue you are a racist and have no place in the nba from fandom to player to owner
  • LilSpudMuffin
    The CNN of NBA Podcasts
Ever since Pina and crew took over. The show is way to political and paints American politics as black and white. If you don’t agree with the hosts opinion on politics than you must be a racist, homophobic, etc. Their isn’t a single pod that doesn’t transform into a tireless diatribe about politics. I understand that the NBA and politics are tied together but they can’t discuss any storyline without applying their scoped narrative thats incredibly biased and confrontational. Individuals like the current entourage of Open Floor hosts are why politics are so toxic and why they should be avoided on a sports podcast.

    👍
“This is unhinged” - Rohan Love the pod but unsure if the Boston stuff is a bit 😂

    1 on 1
I agree KG would be a definite finalist in any 1on1 competition. His trash talk alone would take out half the competitors.

    Updated Review
Rapport is improved, as is actual basketball knowledge. Enjoy Rohan’s addition.

    Enjoying the new pod direction
While I’m a big fan of Golliver and hated to see him leave (proud goat subscriber though), loving Pina taking over the reins as host. Have enjoyed staying on with the pod and listening to some well rounded basketball takes
  • Around there
    Rachel Nichols
It is crazy that at the start of every game, Rachel Nichols flashes the white power symbol with her left hand, for a long time during her monologue. You can go back and check. She did it from the preseason on. She obviously does not Want to be around “those” people. It devastated my children and I when we saw it. It is awful to do to the young, full of hopes and dreams. It is clear she wants to do something else. Let her do that something else away from our sons and daughters.

    Great NBA Pod!!!
Only have been listening to the pod for a month or so now but have really enjoyed it so far!!!
  • Phaedeena
    New host needed
Pina’s style worked well with Golliver’s bullying. But with Ben leaving, the podcast has lost its bite. Can we get a new host?
  • John in OH
    My favorite NBA podcast
My initial 5 star review - Love these two dorks. They are equal parts entertaining and condescending (mostly Ben). Really has increased my interest in the NBA. Current 1 star review - not the same as is, hardly ever listen let alone get though a whole pod. Zero chemistry anymore. Really a shame what SI did to this show.
  • dis blood runs preeeet
    Where’s Golliver?
Pina does best as a co-host who makes snide remarks about your favorite small market team. Really stumbling without Golliver.
  • phillies_kiiiiiid
    Why
I understand a Boston guy being so anti Philly but Golliver was a Portland fan. Why is he so anti-Philly? I’m a Philly fan and I like Portland
  • Shea2DPJ
    Michael is great...
Ben Golliver comes off as more of a SAS or Max Kellerman than somebody who actually knows any basketball. Constantly misrepresents the past and makes silly generalizations. Might be a good podcast purely for entertainment though! Upon further listening, Michael also has some very silly inclinations relating to basketball that makes it hard to respect his analysis.
  • Gary876
    This Pod Rocks
I’m a longtime listener of Open Floor and it’s the only podcast I consistently listen to every time a new episode drops. I absolutely love listening to Ben and Michael go back forth about all the biggest stories and takes from the NBA every week. I’ve been listening for a couple years now at least and I don’t plan to stop anytime soon! Keep up the great work fellas, I couldn’t be happier with the show.
  • Analripist tobias
Golliver is great. Michael is a moron.
Golliver keeps this show a must listen usually but Michael Pina has such a low nba IQ that it can be very difficult to listen to his takes without cringing very hard. Wish Golliver could have a competent co host for once.
  • -b-real
    Racist?
Go research the background of the word “re-jigger”. Bad look man.
  • MsT-H
    Great pod
    Big fan.
  • Brsmith905
    Don’t waste your time
This show really used to be good, now these guys aren’t even talented enough to talk actual basketball and X’s and O’s. This is a political podcast disguised as basketball. Spend your time listening writers who can actually break down and analyze the game. I’d give this a 0 star if I could.
  • Elllll Train
Best NBA podcast. Period. POST IT
Ben, you’re always asking us to “rate and review.” So here you go. Love these guys. Love the takes. Golliver has great humor and is. very skilled setting the stage with each topic. Pina has insightful, offbeat takes. I listen to every episode within the hour it’s released.
  • Jeffrey B. Epstein
    Way too gimmicky
Portland hipster is drowning without Sharp
  • Bigson
    Wish this was better
I want to like Ben Golliver, but he is constantly offering incorrect facts. Just hard to listen to someone who doesn’t really care about accuracy of information.
  • ERIKPETERSEN
    Ben Golliver get over yourself
Michael Pina is a pleasure. Ben please stop talking so much. I think you have some good opinions but your cocky act has got to go! It’s exhausting 😔
  • Rooss34
    Easily the Best NBA podcast
I really enjoy both guys. They are constantly entertaining, generally have good takes, a lot of insight, and don’t take things too seriously.
  • D. Holden
    My pandemic predilection
Golliver and Pina have made these trying times much more tolerable. The duo’s wit and insight is like recess for my restless ears.
  • Uss Fanning 1076
    Guest Michael Pena
I love Ben Golliver, but this last guest was terrible and does not know what he’s talking about with hear Terrible one way trade scenarios-waste of listening time
  • panacea762
    Must Listen for NBA Fans
Top 7 NBA podcast. Ben Golliver and Michael Pina are pros. They strike a balance between transaction and basketball breakdown and humor. Both are knowledgeable and they entertainingly play off each other. Subscribe.
  • looking for a good nba podcast
    Bring back Sharpe
Pina is horrible. This show used to be good but went downhill when they changed co hosts. The 2 hosts used to have good chemistry and different opinions but know both guys sound like basically the same person
  • Ap23💪
    Cry babies
Y’all sound like Lebron and the Lakers beat your dad up at the grocery store. Grow up

    Golliver Is Great
Michael Pina is a major hater, let’s get two great basketball minds up on here.
