amverdemy two friendsListening to this podcast always makes me feel less alone in the chaos that is life. To know that other people are asking the same questions I am makes me feel so good. I can’t wait to see where Julia and Brenda’s path will take them — they are the Brenés and Glennons for people in their early 20s.

MarieeeCINSPIRINGIt takes such immense strength to open up about being in an abusive relationship and listening to this podcast brought up so many emotions as someone who has experienced abuse in a relationship. She is going to help empower so many other women who have or still experience the trauma of being in an abusive relationship. Jessica went through hell and is such a strong and inspiring woman who will continue to help other women. I commend her for opening up about something so intimate. These unnecessary negative reviews have only slandered Jessica, and no one else.

LugochicToxic RelationshipsI absolutely loved this story! The story was extremely relatable to a lady in her 20’s. It truly is admirable that Jessica was able to open up, and discuss HER side of a tumultuous relationship While listening to Jessica’s bravery, I teared up. Tears began to flow, as I was once that broken down twenty something year old lady; that was torn down not only through society, but by a “man”, now a coward in my book. by the way- he has a girl and his “pasi’s” are always checking up on Jessica’s life, apparently they aren't too interested in his new girl, and neither is he. Jessica-kudos to you for creating a safe environment for other woman to relate to your story, and not to be anyone’s puppet, and paint the picture of the other side of the bridge. In addition to painting the picture of life after emotional abuse, you provide hope to many. Also, great job not slandering your ex-BF by mentioning names. This is YOUR story, not his nor theirs. I love how you live in your truth, and knew it was time to cut ties with said ex when you became attracted and flirtatious with others. A lot of individuals tend to not take accountability for their actions which it VITAL for healing. A laughable review was that Jessica drunk dials said ex...this is obviously not a correct statement. It is evident that said ex and his entourage follow Jessica extremely closely to even know about the pod cast. If said ex and his groupies have truly moved on, why do they follow Jessica so closely? To clarify and respond to previous reviews (obviously by said ex and puppets) Jessica DID NOT LOSE her job due to a DUI. Around the DUI part, she literally left her last job months after the DUI and left due to how unhappy she was there, it was not a safe environment. Jessica was motivated to change her place of employment after several months for other reasons that do not pertain to the DUI. The negative reviews just further prove what Jessica paints in her story. If Jessica’s intention was to slander someone, than an entire episode would be dedicated to that, and it wasn’t. If she wanted this to directly reach and hurt someone I can imagine she would’ve gone about it differently. I imagine that if any other person were the center of this story, these comments of verifying and checking guests would exist, because they wouldn’t be related to someone to personal to you. Those comments don’t make much sense. You are directly trying to hurt when you know the purpose of this episode was not to hurt. Jessica, keep on keeping on. Let the peasant’s continue to be just that.

Charli sRAWring realityThey claim to have authentic relatable stories from interviews that people in their 20’s can relate to. So let’s break it down. Authentic : adjective of undisputed origin; genuine. "the letter is now accepted as an authentic document" Undisputed origin aka 100% truth with no opposition. One would believe they could trust their insight and the opinion of others, when they make such a bold claim. However, it has come to light that one of their recent guest speakers was slanderous and dishonest in their claim of events. This individual, told HER delusional and altered fabricated story of events. She didn’t tell the authentic truth or even HER authentic truth. She cheated, people in her life at this time have proof. She swore she didn’t (ask her about the pregnancy scare she had with the guy she cheated with). She got fired after drunk driving her car through someone’s yard. Yet on the pod cast she said she was motivated to quit 🙄. She said she lost her friends because they were mutual friends in the relationship and they took his side. Reality is she cut them out because she refused to take ownership of her decisions. She blamed them for the DUI. she blamed them for the relationship ending because they told her to confess she slept with other people ANYONE who didn’t coddle her Version of reality she cut out. Regardless of their front row seats to the $#!+show. But in the host’s defense they are dating this woman’s family member so biased accounts are expected ... still not what one would consider “authentic” allowing personal bias to come into play 🤷♀️. What they allowed their guest speaker to do was equivalent of someone who has never weighed more than 125lbs boast about how they used to weigh 300lbs and were inspired and motivated to get up and drop that weight. It’s false. They discuss having eating disorders but how would they feel if someone they knew, for a fact, never had an eating disorder, was self promoting themselves going through this struggle and encouraging that there is hope for others? You can not sell false accounts to help motivate others. They allow guests to slander others without any proof, which isnt AUTHENTIC at ALL. AND WHEN THEYRE CHALLENGED rather than owning and admitting to or redacting (like any credible source would) they literally request a bombard of reviews to hide the bad. Their podcast has been on since January. On Friday they had 60 reviews with the last review being from March and yet as soon as they’re called out boom in three days they’ve more than doubled their reviews... does that sound authentic? They send out private apologies and yet make no public changes or acknowledgment. They keep their promotions for the episode available along with the episode itself so that at any time someone can hear all the lies and slander again, without knowing the full story. I really hope for their sake the falsely accused doesn’t get a lawyer and sue for slander. Because even though you didn’t name him... anyone who knows her clearly is able to connect the dots and we live in the free country of being able to sue for hot coffee being hot. At the end of the day... I don’t think they know what authentic means.

AthenakiRAWQuite honestly this podcast is exactly what I need as a girl in my twenties. It is in fact RAW and real. These women are open books and they tell their realities on here for us to hear and relate to, which is not an easy thing to do. Women in their twenties, any age for that matter, experiencing toxic relationships, any mental health struggles, trying to find out who they truly are need to know that they are seen and heard and not alone. These two ladies do exactly that. Thank you Brenda and Julia for opening up your hearts, and bringing inspiring, real people onto your podcast to enlighten us! <3

Katherine726Encouraging? Brave? Vulnerable? When women come on podcasts talking about their toxic relationships and being able to talk about their deepest pains, I respect that. I’ve been there, in a truly toxic relationship and there is absolutely no way I could open up about it to the public. I’m not that brave. Your most recent guest, Jessica Cutini, should not be represented as brave for coming out with this fictional story.. Brave are the women that tell the whole truth. Vulnerable are the women that admit their wrongs.. Jessica told lies to make herself into the victim. I won’t say it wasn’t a toxic relationship because the ‘queen of toxic’ is obviously toxic.. this podcast is proof of that. But to paint my current boyfriend, Jessica’s ex, as a monster with this podcast is disgusting. Claiming that she was tired of being accused of cheating.. maybe stop cheating? I don’t have 5 years with him or an engagement. But I do have 1 year of watching him love my daughter like his own, treating us like royalty. 1 year of only having ‘arguments’ over who left the dishes in the sink.. 1 year of love, happiness and selflessness. In a nutshell: Don’t claim to be brave by coming on a podcast just to lie about your previous relationships. Leave that to the women who are truly making themselves vulnerable to help other women. Admit what you’ve done. Admit that no one is perfect. There’s someone for everyone. We’re glad you’ve found happiness. As your podcast hobby grows, make sure you’re prepared for the backlash of publicly bashing someone.

Allissa BGenuine and inspiring!Brenda and Julia do an amazing job at breaking down the good, the bad and the ugly of our daily lives as women. As a college female in her early 20’s, I find these episodes helpful in helping me understand and better my own life as well as how I can be more empathetic to the lives of others. The topics are emotional and raw, but everything I’ve been looking for. These ladies inspire me with their charisma and genuine passion to help and connect with others 💛
-
kyra ireneInspiring and honestI know one of the hosts personally as she was the President of my sorority when I was a freshman in college, and that’s why I love this podcast, because Brenda LIVES her truth! She is so open, allows herself to be vulnerable, and strong! It makes the podcast that much better knowing these hosts genuinely practice what they preach and find strength in empowering others! Great podcast!!

KaylatteYou can’t be serious. The next time you want to talk about something that has multiple sides to a story, you should call the other person. It would be worth your time to screen and fact check you guests, maybe even keep them anonymous. You allowed Jessica to openly slander someone, on air and unfiltered. Have you even met the other person? Do you know how kind he is? Do you know the damage SHE did to HIM? You claim to want to encourage people that are currently stuck at home with their abusers or stuck in a toxic relationship, yet all you did was enable the abuser from this relationship. Why don't you ask Jessica about the DUI? Why not ask her WHY her he was so convinced she was cheating? How many times was it Jess? More importantly, if you're so loyal in your relationships why do you still have his number saved? Why do you still call him? Is it your goal to be evil and petty, can't you let other people be happy for once? Kudos to y'all for trying to be encouraging, I do appreciate that. But please, for the love of all things holy, do some research and check into your guests. Don't let you're already biased opinions ruin something that could've been actually helpful. -from an actual survivor of an abusive and toxic relationship.

Reese's B.RealIt was really nice to hear how she got into this situation and how it shows that even with the best intentions starting out, things can still take a turn. A lot of people get involved in situations like these and come out the other thinking that they’re stupid for not seeing one sign or the other. It’s nice to see positive self reflection and growth from a situation so unfortunate. Thanks for sharing your story.
