Neophyte303Unique, compelling & insightfulThis non-recap podcast analyzes GoT in the context of real-world politics, culture, history. The focus is true analysis, succinct & compelling. Uniquely great GoT podcast. The hosts are intelligent, eloquent, & steeped in both GoT & universal knowledge. They include the National Security writer for the Guardian.

mysteryGuy82Best Game of Thrones podcastI liked when Laura Hudson wrote about Game of Thrones for Wired and talked about it on the Gamelife podcast. Her cohost, Spencer Ackerman, adds a security or strategic perspective you won't find in most other Game of Thrones podcasts. I've listened to other podcasts about the show, and this is the best one for a wide range or audiences. It's not trying to spoil things. There is some speculation because that is part of the fun when talking to friends (or hearing two friends talk about it). They don't waste a lot of time recapping. I highly recommend this to anyone.

Middle River TerpMore than a recap showThe Guardian's GoT show has become a must listen for me as soon as it loads. Lauren Hudson and Spencer Ackerman are both book readers who discuss GoT and relate the real world to it. Worth subscribing to if you want serious, in depth discussion. Well done.

Marked TwainCan’t get enoughI look forward to listening to this every Monday during this season and can hardly get enough. My only complaint is it sometimes does not seem long enough!
-
GetPugglyExcellent AnalysisJust discovered this podcast - excellent content and production quality.

ElizabétaUnprofessionalLaura's insistence on mispronouncing Daenerys, and using the incorrect term Brotherhood Of Banners, makes it impossible to take her seriously. No excuse when her co-host gets both right. Presumably he is too polite to correct her, which is a pity.

csp1212Fantastic thematic discussionWith very smart and fun hosts. Thank you!

sguido7The best GoT podcast out there nowMy favorite GoT podcast out there right now. I love the smart discussion on the big themes of the show as opposed to the endless books vs show comparisons or the constant picking of nits that other GoT podcasts often trade in.

meghasureshFiction to realityLove the premise of this podcast and it’s cool that the US national correspondent for the Guardian is lending his voice and thoughts to it.

gwynduns1Can't pronounce names...Laura Hudson constantly pronounces the names of characters incorrectly. It's pedantic but it drives me mad. I know that accuracy is tricky with source material from both the HBO show and the novels. However, this is podcast about the TV show, so Hudson should probably imitate pronunciation on the show. Much prefer Entertainment Weekly's GOT podcast.

MelindaWRSmart podcastVery intelligent podcast, and unique among the many, many game of thrones podcasts. I appreciate the analysis of broader themes. Doesn't get bogged down in the nitty gritty details.
-
HanktktktktExcellentGreat, thought provoking conversations on the themes of thrones, even/especially when you don't necessarily agree (or when they don't).

Kailun7Must-listen GoT podcast for smarty pants peopleThis is a crazy-good podcast on GoT. The hosts ability to speak cogently on both the show, thematic construction, and issues of our day ("toxic masculinity"? I mean, come ON!) mean this has just gone to the top of my podcast play list.

BobbiegunSo smart! Love the short format too.Where was this podcast 5 seasons ago?

Kriston CappsStaff writer, CityLabJust the right amount of detail for casual fans who only know GoT from the show, yet the perfect level of analysis for in-too-deep readers looking for an exploration of the story's over-arching themes. Full disclosure: Spencer Ackerman is a friend and I was there when he used Longclaw to annihilate all those pumpkins.

Brave PIxelsGood to hear Laura Hudson again.I was a big fan of Laura Hudson’s recaps on wired, but these are even better.

sasha888Genius.This podcast is killer. Amazing insight into this great TV show. It should be everyone's cliff notes after each episode.
