John MalombGood I guessI am just watching. Interesting so far!
-
RiliRoadGreat summary of the case!I was already familiar with this case from other sources (and already knew of the sequence of events and the ending.) so this was more of a refresher for me. This podcast was a great overview of the full case and it kept me engaged!
-
beejvaFinally - putting it all togetherI thought I had it all figured out. Start over. Let Keith walk you through start to finish, efficiency and effectively, with the most excellent interviews and lead ins / that you’ve never heard before.

KMCrossssGreat reporting. Intro recaps way too longEpisodes are short, which is fine, but the intro recaps are way too long.
-
kristih2The ShadeHugest props to Keith Morrison for throwing the shadiest of shade to the people in this story that deserve it the most. Great reporting on the most horrific story.

SlashercultCOVID quarantineI began following this case as a way to keep my mind occupied in 2020 during the coronavirus lockdown. Soon enough I could not make any sense of all the updates and court hearing based on the arrest in connection with the missing children. Later that summer it was announced that while in custody , the authorities served a warrant for Chad’s residence and human remains had been found. I was shocked that such beautiful children’s lives were cut short by the same people who were obligated to protect them. Lori has been tried and found guilty of all charges. If Chad has any sanity left in him, the best for him would be to give the families of all their victims some closure and change his plea to guilty. After Lori’s conviction, it’s obvious he doesn’t stand a chance.

Lovelylexy527Update?Are you adding episodes to cover the trial? It would be great to hear more! Thanks :)

ajrocksandiloveanimalsLDSThe story is interestingly told, but not taken nearly as seriously as it should be And also the target of LDS religion I think is completely unfair, I am LDS and I know that some take it way to far, I was once emotionally manipulated by a LDS woman trying to get me to wear a dress🙄 but that is just a small percentage of the group of the rest, I have gotten help from LDS people without even having to ask. There are some cults that claim that they are following the LDS rules but they are not.
-
FabulousfortyMaybe crazy but not innocentThis a tragedy because this woman is getting away with killing what? Like 5 people and one attempted murder. She may be crazy but that doesn't mean she should be excused from her actions. She was smart and lucid enough to fool the doctors before but now wants to claim crazy. Nah...those people she killed deserve justice. She can get help while on death row.

ngjudjdndjThis is greatFor me this story has a very emotional impact on me I was only 7 just like JJ I was in the exact same state of this murder same town, same little quiet town with no concerns no murders then this happened the story will alway be stuck with me in this cruel crazy unsafe world. I know those babies Tyle and JJ will rest in peace in a much safe place what has impacted me most is that I lived near where the bodies were found I lived near Chad Dabell I am very impacted on this and will forever be impacted on it. Every time I listen to the podcast and watch the dateline investigation I always cry I never quit when I see they found the bodies I cried I can’t stop it’s stuck with me. No matter how hard I try this case is stuck making me sad

Thom12343Just OKKind of hard to follow. I don’t fully understand the sequence of events. Also, if I hear that commercial of the girl talking about spin class one more time, I’m turning it off. It’s sooo annoying.
-
mud puddlesCultsWhy are all reporters shying away from telling the world that Chad and Lori are members of a strange religion that they got their scriptural beliefs from. Mormon religion. I’ll say it. Beware of high demand religions that spawn such brainwashed narcissists as these two weirdos!

Hermiome's shadowCaptivatingOnce again, Kieth Morrison drops the mic and leaves the audience speechless with another dateline podcast!!! Absolutely fantastic, and is that kieth’s real voice?! He has such a gift. Also the fact that one of the commenters lived RIGHT NEXT to this maniac is just really cool because it shows how many people listen to these and how far they reach out into the world. Keep making these phenomenal podcasts and digging up the secrets that land the worst in jail!

DisappointedInCOMore episodes plsCraziest story I’ve heard in a while. Please post more episodes as the case progresses. I’d be curious to hear more about Lori’s early life; the little bit I read was pretty interesting. Keith Morrison Is the absolute best; I’d listen to him narrate anything!
-
ko1959Keith MorrisonKeith Morrison is the BEST narrator and speaker of all time. I had a 4 hour drive today and it occupied me tremendously. Keep up the good work.

EmeraldCityGurlA M A Z I N GHonestly one of the best podcasts I’ve listened to. I hope there are more updates as this case evolves, if it evolves. Keith knows how to interview and tell a good story. Love Keith. This story really highlights the incompetence of police departments, especially the one in Idaho. I mean, yikes. If you want to murder someone and get away with it, do it in Rexburg? What morons those cops and investigators were, a pretty woman giggles at them and they dismiss everything? Honestly it’s not that surprising, but highly disappointing. Those kids might be alive, several people might be alive still if the police had any inclination to see a pretty white woman as a criminal and murderer.
-
KAwarriorEngaging and spookyI BINGED this story. It has it all. And the hosts voice is, as always, sublime.
-
Katrina-2000Well done treatment of this tragic caseThis tragic story has many twists and turns as the bodies pile up. The killers are cold blooded and horrible: They crossed the line when they killed the two kids. The host speaks clearly and is easy to listen to. Good reporting all around. I can't imagine why anyone would get annoyed with this podcast, but one person actually did. Ignore that and listen. You won't be disappointed.
-
Pilot1209Wow!I lived right next to her in Rexburg, Idaho. I moved right before this happened. Man so happy I moved.
-
tempravenEpisodes.Where are episode seven and eight I am watching or listening to all these and I can’t seem to figure out where the last two episodes are
-
Chelly /SUghI honestly can’t believe anyone listens to this podcast. His inflections sound so disrespectful, like he’s trying to sensationalize their tragedies. I just can’t.
-
BroncotimDisgustingHearing Lori and her friend talk is like some kind of Religious Kardashian fever dream. They sound so so dumb and it makes me want to throw up.
-
cdubivGreatKeith Morrison is the best in the business - BY FAR. This is another good one, but I will listen to anything from/by/with him. Great series!
-
sageninermomydoomdayvery well done. gives a good timeline.
-
LanguagePeruserGlib and WrecklessI was certainly engaged in the story. Worried and hopeful for the siblings survival. But Keith, has this like fake laugh he inserts in places, and it really pulls you out. Then he seemed to suggest something about Colby and Taylee’s childhood. I ignored it until towards the end he outright said maybe the sexual and physical abuse they experienced was made up by their mother. So she could get her third husband’s insurance payout. Okay. Yes Laurie did disgusting things but now we’re talking about the kids. Colby sat down with Keith and opened up about the most sensitive parts of his life. And Keith had the gull to suggest Colby was lying or confused. Colby seemed pretty coherent to me. It’s just so disrespectful, inappropriate and unprofessional to insinuate those things.
-
BHMIWKeith is the OG! AmazingAmazing as always, the investigative journalism and in depth through the looking glass presentation is on point as usual! Keith kills it, he’s still got his OG magic!
-
littleporkbaoGreat Wish there Was MoreI was very intrigued by this series and odds course anything date line and their narrators always killin it
-
MistraHelpfulTone deafImagine taking the sly, winsome narration of Desperate Housewives, applying the cutesy voiceover style of Too Cute, and then talking about an insane mom and her dead children. Dead children? "Maybe", I can imagine the host coyly uttering. This is my first encounter with Keith Morrison, but I guess this how he rolls. So it's a good story for the uninitiated, but you might feel kind of slimy for giving it your time.
-
Happy totAwesome true crime. Mental health services importantAwesome presentation. So many chances to have interviewed w Lori Vallow.
-
ughhhallnicknamesaretakennAwesomeI mean it’s narrated by Keith Morrison, need I say more
-
StoriesFromTheRoadKeith Morrison Delivers GoldI’m still binging on this podcast, but seriously anything narrated by Keith Morrison is worth your time!
-
maioploHost’s voice is so cheesy but story is really goodThe story is serious and good but the host’s voice and tone and so cheesy. I just wish he talk normally.
-
GryffyleeleeFascinating case with twists and turns! This is a perfect podcast if you are familiar with the case and have seen all the Datelines, or if you are brand new to the Lori Vallow saga and need to catch up. It’s only by binging this podcast in its entirety can you really appreciate the scope and madness of this story. It’s told brilliantly by Keith, who inserts his own wit into the story but never distracts from the main players. So fascinating and so well done. Highly highly recommend!
-
mementomorganGood info, bad executionDateline is a little too sensationalized for me. It’s like the narrator is inserting himself into the story. I feel like the narrators should be the voice that guides you but not sway you. Some comments were a little off handed. Yeah we know these people are guilty but we don’t need comments or opinions from the narrator. Just give us the facts and details of the case.
-
DLBBVRCECLNot a fan of the style of narrationThe host and music are a little bit too cheese for me. Still entertaining \o/
-
GrensyquinteroVallowMore reporting on this case please
-
MoorekbWell doneI adore his voice and the level of attention the investigations received. I also appreciate the way it was told in a story-like fashion. Cheers!
-
She-Ra_MastressOfTheUniverseTrue Crime is a guilty listen, but these guys do it the best!Keith Morrison is the best at the True Crime Genre!
-
tenncommentatorThe VoiceThis is a very good podcast. And Keith Morrison’s voice was made for narrating mysteries.
-
45tessaKeith does it again!Keith is the best, so relaxing to listen to. I literally couldn’t believe the details of this story such a hot mess!
-
JILLIAN TOBIELoved itSo much more information that previously heard
-
Cassasauresrex“Mormon Rockwell”The puns are so bad!
-
NakJakKeith MorrisonI will listen to anything this man does. I would listen to him read the dictionary. Besides that, what a sad and interesting case. I’m glad that they were eventually brought to justice.
-
cheeekydinoKeith 😍Need I say more?
-
Catfactorynarration too opnionatedI wasn’t digging the narrators’ voice the entire time, too much like a maury povich sensationalist tone/show but then when he questions about the multiple lives he is almost laughing. That’s not how top notch true crime podcast interviewers act, it seemed horribly unprofessional. If there was another podcast that does this story in depth I would much prefer to listen to it. This narrator is ruining it for me.
-
sandeehilKeith M.I’ll listen to / watch anything this man does.
-
Bree198Keith is great!Keith is my absolute favorite host! The man knows how to tell a story! And piecing this story together is complex but very interesting.
-
FirrBabyMomTrue crime to goKeith Morrison is the best when it comes to drawing listeners into a storyline. He has been by far my favorite narrator. (Mank’s a close second) He’s clear, concise and he weaves the characters and case into a critical thinking exercise with each episode. I’m thrilled Dateline has created these podcasts for true crime enthusiasts on the go!
-
NanaD48Keith Morrison rocks!Keith Morrison is a master storyteller. I am a big fan of true crime stories, well more like the forensic part I don’t really like the crime part.I love the way he weaves together the narrative of the story with poetic imagery of the part of the country where it takes place. I love his voice, it is oddly soothing even during very upsetting narrative.
-
Sara Lee SteheliLOVEI have no idea why people are hating on the narrator. He seems very educated and is a great interviewer while interviewing the different people. I think his voice is perfect for a true crime podcast. I can’t get enough!
