Being proud of who you are and seeking more knowledge along your path through life is amazing. Thank you for sharing your journey through this podcast. Many indigenous people, know exactly how you feel, and not just because they are mixed race, but also because of their upbringing… I’m 57, full blooded Navajo/Dine’, I was brought up in white society, being part of the Placement program here in US., from the age of 8 to18. Same as you seeking and learning, taking pride of who I am and passing this knowledge of self pride, and knowledge to my children and grandchildren. Many have similar stories like mine and yours. Appreciate you sharing your thoughts, prayers, and desires and your finding of your heritage and culture have been amazing to listen to.

Jermey has so many gifts to share and he has done so wisely in this podcast. He walks an amazing path searching how he has gotten to where he is today and pulling so much out of the people who walked with him along his journey. As an American baby boomer male sitting in a cardiac care unit and listening to his journey while looking out at Mt Baker in the Cascades south of the border he has granted the gifts of continuing to go deeper and that those layers are important to understand and make one who they are.
