I like most episodes of this podcast and I can tell both of them are very well versed in whatever they’re talking about, but there’s been a few times where I can’t help but feel that they are being over-critical and nitpick-y. Also, from what I’ve listened to, there hasn’t really been a time where they have different views, which I would like to see.

Was hard to listen to a few episodes when they bash and criticize the movies and shows I love and like. Especially the falcon and winter soldier. I agreed with some of their opinions bout the completely were against everything with the story lines and the actors theme selves

I like these two guys, but the pod tends to gravitate away from the public’s canon and more towards their opinions, which tend not to be particularly nuanced. They have also got some information wrong on a semi-consistent basis. Just not the place for me to get info on nerd culture.

Jon and Charles have a dynamic in this space that works well. They know quite well on the topics they care to talk about; things that I myself also care about. And while I don’t always agree with every opinion they have on every subject, I can appreciate their perspective, and learn something I may not have known(either about the subject matter, or a deeper opinion from myself about said subject matter), while being entertained as well. Fantastic show. Fantastic people. The Real Canon is the real thing.

I’ve been looking for a good, lighter, geek-culture type show that I can listen to week to week and this show really scratches that itch. Great chemistry and great discussions!

I love the podcast material and I like the hosts. One major issue for me is that Charles’ vocal audio is very very wet sounding. Please continue but look into new audio capture equipment for Charles...

I usually don’t leave reviews for podcasts but I feel that this one is under appreciated, especially as it’s a Rooster Teeth production. I feel like with this show John’s really found his niche.

I loved the Wandavision podcast and the Starwars one!!

I watched the “Star Wars” episode. The first 20 minutes were mentioning a Star Wars video game and talking about Godzilla Vs Kong. The next segment was a short recap of the Mandalorian and then talking about the production difficulties that some of the actors had to deal with, which don’t get me wrong was an interesting topic to talk about 4 years ago when it was happening. However, I expected to hear about different canons within the whole universe of Star Wars but was met with a lecture on the struggles that some actors as well as team members had to face during the production and distribution of the films. I thoroughly enjoy most content put out by Rooster Teeth but was very disappointed in the misleading done by the advertising for this podcast. It is difficult giving this 1 star but it is the perfect score to correlate dissatisfaction I had from this podcast.

It’s interesting and I have enjoyed the 2 topics they have done so far!

Finally there is a podcast to just listen to people talk about the canon of all things nerd and Marvel and such. I highly enjoyed listening to y’all talk about Wanda Vision, I had so many questions about the show (still do) but it was nice listening to the canon.

One of the best podcast that Rooster Teeth ever made

Charles and Jon have a great banter and vibe together. I’ve been listen to Jon in rooster teeth content for years and it’s great to finally hear him discuss all the nerdy things he loves. I am very happy we get Charles onboard, great prospective and nice voice. Can’t wait for more episodes!
