Nanner81IncredibleEye opening and heartbreaking and infuriating. Though difficult to listen to at times I’m so glad I listened and I think every single American should as well. Excellent podcast.

Cast a Wide NetAstoundingFirst of all, this is a Class A podcast by any and all measures. An amazing, disturbing , provocative story, expertly delivered. It should be a must listen for all Americans so that our eyes are fully open to the horrors of war that happen behind the headlines, that destroy lives in ways that don’t involve weapons, and in ways that cast doubt on the belief that we can always rely on our own government to seek truth and justice. This one will linger in my mind I suspect for a long time.

VanessainNYCEngaging, interesting, heartbreakingThe story is engaging and illuminating. I’m thankful that the filmmaker was tenacious in telling this important part of American military history. The truth matters.

uberistrashYawnAll podcasts should remain neutral.I hate that I even wasted 48 minutes on one episode. Maybe you should have chosen a less political episode to share on other podcasts. 👎👎

Lyn-ScotFantastic work! Thank youI was a military pilot for 20 years between the Army and Air Force and thought I at least knew the basics of this horrible tragedy. Clearly I was wrong. I literally listened to every single episode back to back last night and am still stunned. Thank you so much for the dedication and enormous effort to bring this podcast to life. In my humble opinion, I think every service member needs to listen and learn from this amazing story. It’s horrific but necessary. Well written and organized perfectly to build tension and curiosity. The more I listened, the more I had to know. And it took a civilian to get to the truth that so easily could have been buried forever. Shame on us. You certainly have my respect and I look forward to more stories. Thank you.

LionessinflamesMixed feelingsI feel the story that you were telling was an incredible one, but I’m torn with not being a fan with the way YOU told it, I felt almost as if when you said you had an emotional response to something, that when telling the story you felt pretty dry, but again it could simply be that you are just tired, you’ve stayed with this story for 15 years, but I can’t help feeling a lack of true emotion from you as you told it, I think overall the story is incredible one, I was only 13 when this happened, but I was at least aware of this incident when I was about 16/17...I don’t know....it just felt like this was all incredibly not only anticlimactic but also like something from the story telling was missing. Either way, thank you for bringing awareness to what happened there, thank you for your time an effort in following this story.

n2truestoriesAbsorbing and essential listeningReally hits home the evil and good humans can do.

Misdawn69Here we goThought your first podcast was excellent but after listening to your first episode of your second, I’m deleting you. So sick of the blatant lies in regards to the police. The cops are getting paid peanuts for putting up with these criminals. They should be given the benefit of the doubt in every situation. The courts did this for a reason. How about those doing crimes take accountability, quit resisting and take their punishment!

jlkid11Loved Murder in House Two...I was excited to see there’s a new podcast, until I read what it was about. I won’t be supporting the creators of Murder in House Two anymore after their stance on police.

CulinaryBeeSo ANGRY!!!This was an excellent podcast! Mr Epstein did a tremendous amount of work on the story because he wanted the truth to come out. His interviews were very engaging and thought provoking. It made me so angry I actually screamed in frustration, at one point. The final interview with the “man” responsible for the killings of the father, mother and children from houses 1 & 2, made me want to throw up. He spent the entire time flippantly denying that he had anything to do with the killings, and even if he did, that’s what war is all about! Had he been in front of me, I would have slapped him! Yes, war IS all about the inhumanity of man and no war has ever solved anything. The gentleman who was charged with ALL the heinous acts of his men, was eventually absolved by the military. He was the only one who had the grace to say he was in charge and therefore guilty. Maddas, the general in charge and the REAL problem in this piece, became one of trump’s men. THAT should not surprise anyone who hears this excellent podcast!

CrimeJunkie2187WowSpeechless. The host is an amazing storyteller.
-
kayferguson13Brilliant!!!!!This was beautifully done. I’m prior Navy, it had me reminiscing. I was guessing the ending half-way through. The only thing that shocked me was what happened at the eleventh hour. Everything else was about right. Sadly, but true. You find a way to deal & you pack it away.
-
Arogers84070Incredible!You know when you listen to a deep dive podcast and at the end you need to talk to someone about it to deal with all the questions they didn’t address? This is the podcast you do NOT need to do that, incredible journalism and thoroughness. I’m not testing to find anything else out out by this host. Well done!!
-
Stanlizzle16Excellent- fog of warExcellent storytelling. Captivating. Gruesome. At times uncomfortable and hard to hear. It all makes for such a riveting story. Don’t blame the men in uniform! The cliffhanger at the end makes it seam these kids are calloused soulless killers, and is extremely Unfair. Blame the idiots at the top that got those boys in that position to begin with. It was all pointless as the last boy alluded.
-
Soupster1981Just wow!Great background and great storytelling .
-
templewranglerJust wow, such an important story. Thank youSeriously, just start listening. You won’t stop. Heart wrenching but so necessary.

bri, va lowercase libHoly Shi+, ReportingIt makes you wonder what else we’ve been missing, or rather “who” else is keeping truth from The Public.
-
mgsyesWell researched, riveting! This is definitely worth a listen. A story that did not get the attention it needs to.
-
mholmes07Fantastic- worth a listen!Didn’t expect so many twists and turns. Well done, and a story that must be told. Would look forward to follow ups.

ABT5CTotal wasteWhat a waste of time, energy, and a podcast. TLDR: a bunch of murderers of 24 innocent men, women, and children (as young as 3 y/o!) get away with everything. Most expensive case in military history is a farse and total waste of taxpayer money.
-
h2ocelloI’m not sure how I didn’t know of thisbut I’m glad if I were to learn of this story late, it was from this journalist. So well done - every single angle - the level of research, the interviews, the impartiality, the sound quality, and the terrible story itself. This is as interesting as it is troubling and thought provoking. Fantastic job.
-
mygirlpearlWow! What a storyI am the mother of a retired Navy Chief and he was on the ground several times in Iraq. This podcast brought back the fear and conflict I had while he was there. This podcast was produced and presented in such a caring manner yet the truth of what happened there coms through. It was done so well. Thank you for sharing this event with all of us. Hard to hear but so important that it is heard.
-
Jdano1970Very DisappointingThe information and delivery of the podcast were well done. However, I found no room Mr. Epstein’s opinions. He has never been in the Marines, and for him to cast judgement on anyone’s actions during war are completely unjustified. If he had carried a rifle during even one tour of duty, maybe his opinion would matter. In this case, it is just another member of the media trying to make a dollar from other people’s pain. Another classless example of the time we are living in.
-
bekkiloumagooA Must ListenThe time and effort alone warrants a 5 star review, but the content is incredibly important and relevant. Every once in a while I hear a story that changes my views, my opinions, and really makes me think. This is most definitely one of those. Grateful for the work.

lillimay5Not bipartisan account for sure.I really appreciate a lot of his translation his reporting process. This is a hard story and he opening wrestles with being unbiased. That being said Bush and Trump are referred to only by what they’d done wrong. The reference to Obama kinda plays him as a hero. With this level of party bias it’s hard to believe he isn’t missing bias in other areas of his reporting. He loses credibility. 15 years of reporting on a traumatic story and guess who is president in the middle? The blame is to be shared by all three presidents; end of Bush’s, all of Obama’s, and beginning of Trumps administration. If there was government malfeasance in the investigation it was happening squarely in the 8 years Obama was in office. As an independent its glaringly biased. Lastly bringing in a mental Heath worker to understand the mental state of the soldiers would have given a much clearer picture of why stories were really unclear, forgotten or inconsistent. Great opportunity to teach about mental Health and normalize it.

Photoman85One of the best of 2020A Brilliant and clear telling of a tragic and complex story. This is how podcasts should be made.

Cannon11bSuch great workAside from the garbage commercials and sponsors, this podcast just made the top of my list. I’d love to see some of these savages held accountable from the top on down.

kristin1258Binge worthyI usually don’t write reviews, but this podcast was phenomenal! I don’t know what to do now that I’ve finished it 😭 so well researched and easy to follow! With interviews, clips from the court hearings, and audio from scenes in Iraq! So it keeps your attention! This guy needs to make more podcasts!
