Every time a new episode comes out it’s an instant listen. Matt and Jahadi are the consistent and find different angles to attack each podcast even during a point in the offseason where there shouldn’t be as much content as they are able to produce. Special guests keep the content fresh too. Love the work guys.

This is my favorite Wizards podcast by far. First and foremost, I love the consistency. Obviously I know all podcast hosts have lives outside of a given show, but a lot of Wizards podcasts I’ve listened to throughout the years have no consistent schedule of episodes. An episode could drop one day, and next one might drop randomly three weeks later. Bleav in Wizards is very consistent, and during grad school in California it was something I looked forward to every week to make me feel connected to home. Matt is a gifted host, and I absolutely love Jahidi’s insights and candor. I also appreciate how they dig a bit deeper in their analysis of the team than some other podcasts, really relying on critical thought, past experiences in the case of Jahidi, league trends, etc. to explore the “why” of team happening instead of a simplistic recounting of what happened. Very well done!

The only Wizards comparable to Harry Potter. 10/10

Matt is one of the most knowledgeable Wizards fans I know. Always tapped in to the latest with this squad and provides entertaining episodes alongside his co-host, Jahadi White. Can’t tell you how much I’ve learned from this podcast. Make sure to check it out!

What an ep, what a guy. Jahidi and Etan have incredible chemistry. Two old friends talking about their playing days and weighing in on the state of the league. Etan isn’t just some former Wizard either. This man is an author and serious contributor to publications like The Guardian. Loved hearing him on here. An evergreen episode. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Title says it all. Matt varies up the basketball topics with different guests, he asks smart questions and the show delivers actual knowledge about the game. As someone that doesn’t have time to watch all the games, this is my go to podcast for the Wiz.

Good times, bad times, good seasons, bad seasons. Matt knows the Wizard inside and out and brings that knowledge to Wizards fans and all basketball fans at high level each and every week!

I love the podcast. Matt, Jahadi & the guests always provide excellent points. They always seem to have a pulse on how the fans are feeling. I wished we had a better product on the court for us to root for. Keep up the good work & can’t wait for what y’all got planned for the future.

This has been my go to Wizards podcast since Fred Katz left Wizards After Dark and moved to the Knicks beat. Matt is incredibly knowledgeable on the Wizards and provides high level intelligent content. I’ve always enjoyed his conversations with other smart basketball analysts. But if I’m being honest, I don’t understand why they brought Jahidi White onto the podcast. No disrespect to him personally as he is a former NBA player, but he doesn’t bring the kind of insider analysis to the show that I enjoy. It feels like his player-first mentality is taking the show in a totally different direction. The back and forth conversations between Matt and Jahidi are not the same “nerd out over basketball” that I’ve come to appreciate. I hope they find their way and go back to the former way of scheduling guests.

Love the content and the breakdown! Jahadi White really does a great job of breaking down the player and coach’s mindsets!

As a working parent, I don't have a ton of time for podcasts, especially ones longer than 30 minutes. Matt's podcast is the exception. He makes it worth my time through thoughtful analysis and interviews. It strikes just the right balance between technical and colloquial. I definitely feel like a smarter basketball fan after each listen. Update 2/4/23: I think Sam Dekker is the new podcast co-host.

Not saying this lightly. Matt has bent over backwards for years keeping this train running. Having Larry was great for when we could have him. Matt has carried it successfully still after that break, experimenting with new stuff and giving us quality, reliable, and timely takes and content. Can’t say enough positive things about him and the pod. I don’t know how a grown man with that many cats does it. My guess on the new cohost: Sam Dekker?

This is an absolutely fantastic podcast. Matt finds a way to balance the rational perspective and knowledge of a reporter with fanatical exuberance, frustration and hot takes on the team. His guests are great (I would love to see more collaborations with Kevin Broom). Keep it up!

For the Wizards/NBA fan Bleav in Wizards is my first choice. Matt is a knowledgeable, passionate and talented host. He clearly works hard at finding enjoyable guests who entertain the listener. We are lucky to have him in the DMV.

A fantastic show from a great guy, Matt treads the line between dejected Wizards fan (as many of us are) and insightful, analytical reporter - between the guests he brings on, the content he puts together, and his eye for the game(and talent), Bleav in Wizards is a must-listen for any & all Wiz fans.

I put these reviews off longer than I should. After about two years of listening though - it’s about time. The news and entertainment has been free; the least I can give in return is a good word. Top notch Wiz pod full of quality content. Matt Moderno does an excellent job hosting the pod and when former Mr. Show-Me Basketball and NBA All Def 1st teamer Larry Hughes makes his appearances it’s the sweet icing. Moderno holds if down nicely either way. Good topics, thoughtful interviews, a good blend of expert information and fan-like speculation make for good edutainment. He legit represents the voice of the ever-paining DC hoops fan. If you’re a Wiz fan and you’re not listening, you absolutely should be.

I’ve been listening to bleav in wizards for a couple of years and it just keeps getting better. Matt provides both a refreshingly fair perspective and a ton of really well researched and curated content. A must listen for any wizards fan!

Far and away my favorite basketball pod. Matt offers refreshing, realistic and passionate perspective for a team where it’s designated local media coverage is tainted by team ownership. I found this podcast and listened because of Larry, I continue to listen because of Matt. Thank you for all the work you put in.

Matt, the host, has the right balance of optimism and cynicism for a Wizards podcast. Others are either too team-friendly, too pessimistic, or (honestly) not professional enough. Matt, with a range of guests from Larry Hughes to others, still manages to feed me new info and things to think about even though I rarely miss a game. Overall, this is the best Wizards pod out there.
