    Great stuff, James!
Nostalgia, common-sense talk, humor and more!

    A show about nothing…
But it’s more than a tad fun. I guess I love “The Diner” - this is a nice ball of yarn too…and NO Mungo Jerry!

    An enjoyable thematic narrative romp
James’ mellifluous voice and extraordinary wit come together for an enjoyable thematic audio romp that echo’s Ken Nardine’s Word Jazz of many years ago. The tease is that there are so few of these.

    Podcasting at Its Finest
I enjoy this podcast immensely, and recommend it highly. I discovered it in episode Seven, and then went back and listened to all earlier episodes. I loved every one, and delighted in each subsequent edition. My only regret is that Mr. Lileks only occassionally produces new episodes.

    Heir apparant to The Diner
I'm a lontime fan of The Diner serie, also in iTunes. The Ramble seems to be the next iteration of James' imagination. Although we're still waiting for the Star Trek episode.

Good ‘cast, but too few & far between
No one knows pop culture, especially the soundtracks that accompany said ephemera like James Lileks. His podcasts, however, are too few and far between. No episodes between January and April, and the last episode of this ‘cast was 4/12. Is there really that little to work with? Make me think that Mr. Lileks just gets bored and moves on, as it seems has happened with his previous ‘cast titled ‘The Diner’ - another Lileks podcast that just seemed to fade away.

Only 3 shows so far but it is great
This truly is a ramble, but an entertaining and educated one. The music clips played are great. Who knew John Williams borrowed the Star Wars them from an old Western? I did't before. And an audio comparison to make the point. Highly recommend James Lilek's show, I just wish he'd turn them out faster. I know he has lots he can talk about-if you've seen his website.
