Yam is without a doubt incredibly talented and has a unique perspective on a variety of topics. In general, the podcast needs focus and consistency but I’m a lifetime subscriber because she speaks out loud the thoughts in my head. My sister from another mister!

I’ve been listening to the podcast through several years and iterations, and I still rock with Yam (and Chloe when she makes appearances). I feel like because I’m also a black, female Scorpio, it’s only right.

I found her on IG and my first thought was “she’s so pretty” my second was “wow a comedian whose actually funny” and third “I want to listen to her talk all the time. This podcast is as funny as everything YAM does.

Yam is hella funny. How ever with the Kobe Bryant situation, it’s incredibly dangerous and sad to assume because he was a black man he isn’t capable of raping a woman. Especially since there was SO much evidence. Her body was bruised and bloody. Her blood was on his shirt. She didn’t name any of the evidence. She didn’t do her research and she never does her research. Yes there was evidence. Yes she didn’t testify because she was slut shamed for having sex with someone else days earlier, which yam would know if she looked it up. Just wish Yam would do her research like REALLY do it. Also yes I’m black and I don’t assume he’s innocent because of our shared skin tones.

I’ve been a fan for 8 years now and I love you but you have to STOP eating on the podcast. Literally had to fast forward through this last episode because ASMR chewing makes me want to claw my ears off.

Yamaneika is my favorite comedian, bur the Coons for Christ Episode has me in tears bc it’s all so true. Awesome podcast all around.

This podcast is great except for the main fact that the host always over talks her guests. It's like other people can't get a word in!

Absolutely hilarious!

Yamaneika is BRILLIANT! Yes, she could probably use some ADHD meds and yes, she probably needs a mood stabilizer to prevent her going from 0 to 100. BUT, she is EXCELLENT at comedy, is HILARIOUS talking with her friends, and makes great points about social commentary. Her friends love her and are patient with her, which she deserves. Listening to them give her grace cracks me up. She will shut them up in a heartbeat so it’s hilare. FORMER REVIEW: Yamaneika is the WORST storyteller, gets distracted easily, and dominates conversations. It is HILARIOUS to hear people try to get a word in edgewise. She’s not good with social interactions and it’s really funny to see her friends give her grace and help her along. I recommend she do like Amanda Seales and just rant and insert another person later (just don’t waste their time having them right their with them).

Episode with Pat. Yamaneika is hands down the best. I am addicted to this podcast! I listen on my headphones at work, in the car or wherever a hahahaha so dam funny. And real!

I really love and respect Yam and Chloe for the humor and lighthearted refreshing feel the podcast brings every single episode. Raucous comedic excellence! I love how Yamaneika balances the sharing of vulnerable and incredibly sensitive experiences, with a no BS POV on modern issues, and ab-inducing jokes. Mehran as a cohost gives me life and I wish he would launch his podcast or just keep sitting in w/ Yam.

The high episode almost got me fired at work. I was on the floor in cardiac arrest after laughing so hard they called 911 and I had to tell them it was a false alarm. Lord help me come back to life after this episode.

Too contrived and hyperbolic. Enough is enough. Her lack of actual education is starting to show. She thinks she can have a completely uneducated and non nuance opinion about social issues like white people but isn’t going to get criticized for it.

Stumbled upon this podcast and I find it wildly entertaining. Topics include race, comedy, NYC, everything. Lots of rants and laughs. My only complaint is they need more microphones. Sometimes James seems like he’s off mic, or Yamaneika is. I would donate if you guarantee you’d upgrade the audio setup. Otherwise AAA+++, product as advertised, fast shipping, would buy from again. Peace.

I love her openness and honesty. She is a straight shooter that will tell you the truth about yourself but make you laugh at the same time. She is definitely well on her way to becoming a household name!

Listened to the latest episode of Guys We F*cked and it was my first time hearing about Yamaneika. She was so funny I had to listen to her podcast! I'm definitely enjoying it. 😊

This podcast always gets me laughing. I hurry up and gobble the episode as soon as it posts but I sure hate when I don't have a fresh one to listen to on those rough days! Try this one out if you want to tickle your funny bone. It's like calling up an old friend on the phone that always can make you smile.

I really love the topics and the rants, but why have guests if they can't speak their peace. You constantly over talk all you guests with your opinions and I would love the show even more if it more of an ebb and flow. Other than that I'll keep listening and enjoying.

Back in the early days of the podcast when Chloe was co-host this was my favorite podcast. However now instead of a fun and real podcast which occasionally addressed race relations has turned into a political rage fest where all that seems to be discussed is how white people are evil and all cops are racist. I miss the days where I would laugh and enjoy a new episode. I wish you the best Yam but I can't listen anymore.
