ASD5317PassAwful basketball analysis, they have no clue. I just listened to the episode about prior Syracuse’s NbA draft drought, and their lines are: (1) Dion Waiters was a bench player at Cuse, played in the nba for a while (how about he was a five star top 30 guard recruit…); (2) Dreaming of a Wes Johnson (seriously, he was first team all American tranafer, we should’ve won the chip that year if AO doesn’t go down); (3) Nobody other than Donnie Freeman has a shot at getting drafted (this makes no sense, Chris Bell shot 43% from 3 last year, JJ is only getting better as a McDonald’s player, Westry has a shot if he stays healthy, and who know where Choppa can go). This is a skip.

Aeroman1929Lack of Historical Knowledge SOURS ValueTwo of the hosts’ lack of historical knowledge about the Syracuse football program (excluding Christian) reduces the value of their perspectives when commenting on current and recent performances. To suggest a recent game against Pitt is the biggest game ‘in their lifetime’ is amusing. There is a problem when only Christian demonstrates knowledge of the Diamond Ferry game in 2004. I deeply and thoroughly recommend they review Syracuse football content, highlights, and box scores from 1985 - 2010 and read the full program history on Wikipedia (gives a good overview). The current state of their understanding separates this podcast from those of quality. These are the boys and the men are on ESPN Syracuse, Brent Axe podcasts among others.

GyuordieGreat guysI love their SB Nation blog, one of the best Cuse sports websites out there. Pod could see some audio improvements but it’s minor. Overall these guys are very knowledgeable about all sports Syracuse, die hards too like me. So I definitely recommend.

Ball Above AllSolid PodcastI am not even a Syracuse fan, but this podcast is very informative and covers a multitude of the athletic programs. I do like that they are Cuse fans as it captures the essence of sports/fandom.
