I really enjoy listening to y’all but all this food talk is making me hungry l!

Trying to listen to these guys chat their way through a fall break trip and realize they know little and have little appreciation of the historic South. Bashing The Peabody Hotel in Memphis for small rooms and bad cocktail service. No knowledge of author Pat Conroy autobiographical work “The Water is Wide”. Surprised to see alligators on South Carolina islands. Weak! Just don’t know much about the Real South.

Each episode is like sitting down with a couple of friends talking about their latest adventures. The only negative is that I can’t interject when I have something witty or informative to say. Oh well, I guess that’s not what podcasts are for. Ha!

*Updated- I listen religiously. I laugh and giggle at some of the things Chris and Will talk about. It’s so disappointing that it only comes out once a week. I find my self commenting and talking like they are in the room with me. Best podcast ever! After several months it is still going strong, dare I even say...yes I will, it’s a dadgummit must listen!* Chris and Will have done it again! I never have been a podcast person, until now. Chris has done some amazing things with Made South, so I had to listen in. #southernsupport I’m hooked! Every week the episode goes by way to quick. I’ve binge re-listened to every episode two weeks in a row. I feel like I catch something new each time. They have a way of presenting that makes you feel like you’re right there. It’s like sitting at the table with the cool kids. They are so approachable, and it keeps you hooked like a fish on the line. If you haven’t listened yet, you are missing out. Wonderful southern hospitality, filled with great stories and knowledge pretty much sums it up. Can’t wait for Thursday!

Not quite sure how I came across it, think it was Instagram and maybe Sean of the South but awesome. Easy to listen to and it feels like I’m hanging out with some buddies just talking about what comes to mind. I listened to the book suggestions and started reading The World’s Largest Man while watching my Red Sox. I was more into the book then I was the game at times. Keep it up guys. As a resident of Birmingham and an Auburn fan, this podcast hits close to home in so many ways. Looking forward to listening to more, in order of course.

I await each week’s Podcast with a childlike excitement! Chris and Will touch on all things Southern, making me nostalgic for my young childhood growing up in Auburn, Alabama whilst my dad taught there in the 80’s. The South will always have my heart and Will and Chris deliver it on a silver platter with their humor, sense of adventure, palettes, and genuine affection for all things southern. Grateful for Chris’s and Will’s friendship, for their exceptional podcast, and for great bourbon. Cheers, Y’all!

Two guys who know a lot of about being from the South and having fun. Positive. Encouraging. Winning.

Garden and Gun, Made South and Potluck- all things that bring the amazing southern culture to the “rest” of us. This show does a great job of sharing some of the food, drink, happenings and products that make the south a great place to visit! I have been following Will on the Podcask for a while and I love Chris’ different products and his zeal to win at barn night. Putting these two together was like pairing mayo and potatoes. Something magical was bound to happen. TL;DR- So this is what Will sounds like when he gets to finish his sentences.

Somehow I stumbled upon this podcast and just love it. These are actual things we Southerners talk about every day. I’m anxiously awaiting the homemade Pimento Cheese recipe! (Way to keep us coming back for more each week!) This is an actual podcast I can listen to in the car with my son and not be worried about bad language or having to explain what the guys are talking about. The John Grisham at Bud and Alley’s story made me smile as I was driving back to East Tennessee from a trip to 30-A. Your neighbor seeing Albert’s grave moving and calling you to come see it...had me rolling!!!!! Anxiously awaiting more episodes! Thanks for creating such an interesting podcast and keep up the great work! Raise a glass of bourbon to Potluck!

I love podcasts like this one: Lets take topics I’m passionate about and just have conversations about “have you seen?..., what do you think about?..., have you ever tried/tasted/been to?...”. The conversation is addicting here and the guys have a natural report with each other. Best of southern talk here!

I typically get bored with podcasts due to lack of engaging content, but these guys talk about fun, relevant things with a nice dose of wittiness! Highly recommend it.
