It got annoying having to skip through the hosts because they were honestly just not funny at all. Not enough comedy for a comedy podcast. Sorry.

Love this podcast and love these guys. Tom and the Coach have such an awesome rapport, and I love to hear their commentary. I love how positive they both are! It’s respect for great talent, and all the talent is so different! If I’m in a bad mood, they put me in a good mood. Keep doing what you’re doing, friends!

I really enjoy this podcast. It was a good way to laugh at the dumpster fire of 2020. Tom and Coach have interesting insights into the world of comedy. Please bring the show back!

This was my favorite comedy podcast (not just stand-up either). I wasn’t a fan in the beginning, but ever since Comedy Central made the best decision to bring Tom Thakkar & Coach as show hosts, I’ve been hooked ever since. I love how clean and respectful coach is. He is a bit too cool for Tom and he knows it, but he never rags on him for it. Tom’s nerdiness is so genuine & he has such an embarrassing giggle, like a schoolgirl who heard a curse word for the first time. I love the both of these guys as hosts & their selections are on point, every time. They have introduced me to many new comedians that I hadn’t heard before & I especially enjoy the Thakkar-gorithm. (Based on Netflix’s algorithm), cuz it is a great way to find new artist alternatives without the wasted time & effort of sitting through terrible artists in search for new masters of the craft. So sad to see them go. I get that Comedy Central is a business for financial gain, but it was such a crap decision to end the show that I almost wanna boycott them now. (Almost is the keyword, since I’m so lazy)

There are a lot of comedy podcasts but I don’t know if any that play actual stand up sets???? This is crap you guys are awesome and have pushed me to watch a lot more comedy videos on comedy central’s YouTube. Well I’ll replay the shows back for years to come!!!!

I really enjoy this show, getting the bits from a wide range of comics. It’s really good comedy. I cannot believe they are canceling this unique show. Probably for the same generic crap already out there. Thanks Tom and coach for all the great shows.

its genuine comedy brought by a scholar of the game. Tom is authentic with his stories, his takes, and especially the comics he brings every week. its well rounded. And has opened my eyes to so many comics both old and new. Then theres The segments: (joke detective , thakkagarithm - my bad if i spelled wrong, or just Tom talking his experience in comedy whether his love for the cellar/ him on the rd/ or experiences with comics... all of it and More is great entertainment to pack in each episode that if it was my choice each episode would last at least 90 mins. Then lastly the chemistry between tom and coach is great, and i cant imagine it being easy with covid. which brings me to this - every week during these times i have been so fortunate and appreciative of this show. thank you for this . keep crushing it fellas. looking forward to next episode as always

Bring back Chrissy D or replace this current host. His taste are hit or miss and the banter, if you can call it that, has nothing to add to the selections.

I used to want more Stand-Up on this podcast, but now I look forward to Thom Takhkarh and Coach Tea chopping it up just as much as the featured comedians. Super informative when it comes to The state of stand up...one of my favorite podcasts.

Great podcast , promotes a diverse variety of comedy for every taste and also gives a glimpse on comedians create and think behind the scenes. Very positive show in a time when we need it. The title I gave is meant to be funny . Maybe that's what the fans could be called.

I tried SEVERAL times listening straight through but what does Tom and Coach add? NOTHING Tom, you flatter yourself pretending to also be a regular stand up your an open mic'er at best and any drooling idiot can do that

Then Chris and Nicole left and Tom took over. It was still a good show. Now this Coach producer joined and it’s an okay show. Now they complain about reviews they don’t like but choose not to improve the show to make it worth a higher rating. In all honesty, you’re just as well off watching the Comedy Central YouTube channel as you are listening to this.

I’ve been going through a tough time (like mostly everyone during Covid). I put on Tom & Coach’s podcast as I’m getting ready in the morning. I can now get ready without crying 😭 (sad crying to be specific). The two of you help me genuinely laugh out loud and then I have a smile on my face, something rare for me right now. I’m a Suttnick all the way 🤟🏼!!

While this is a comedy podcast, the 11 June 2020 episode and the Dave Chapelle story is very powerful and moving. The emotion telling the story was the exclamation point. Great podcast. Keep up the great work!!

As a wannabe comic I’ve been dying to find a podcast like this!

This podcast was a great idea with the original hosts, but there was something a little obnoxious (but still endearing) about them. I'm not sure what caused the change to TT and Coach, but they have really driven this pod to new places and it's pretty great. I love the glimpses into the backstage of comedy, I love the segments they are developing (like Joke Detective, amazing way to use the reservoir of comedy available to them) and I love how the selections are topical, diverse, and responsive to audience feedback. One suggestion: the Thakkar-garythm is great, but it would be fun to get a series of clips showing how you think the comics you mention are linked. Or better yet, give us a six-degrees type clinic where you show how to get from one comic to the next based on how the style evolves.

Since the previous host left this podcast has become much better. The comedy clip selection has always been good but the previous hosts would just ramble on and on and kinda harsh on the ears. With the new team there’s been noticeable improvement in editing, mixing and some overall production. Good one to get some laughs and BTS comedy scene content.

Thom has really great taste in comedy and brings a great variety of comics to the show. That being said, I can’t even listen to it in the car because the amount of “30 second forwarding” I have to do to get through his monologues counts as distracted driving. I think it would be awesome if he whittled that down a little bit, because I do like hearing a little background info on the comics, but I’m not willing to sit through 30 minutes of the host talking about himself to get that. The thom takargharithm is always on point though love that addition to the show.

I like your show but I wish you and coach would talk less and air more comedians.

Just started listening to this podcast a few days ago and it’s been a nice change of pace from listening to too much true crime podcasts. Helps my work day go by faster and brightens my mood while stuck at my work desk. Thanks for putting this show together! So many funny Stand-Up comedy clips!

Tom and Coach are entertaining and very knowledgeable about all things comedy. I especially like the Thakkar-Gorithm because it’s nice to be steered in a direction towards comics that suit your own tastes. I really enjoyed the fact that Tom took the time to add a little segment to the show (via a fan’s request!) on how to get your foot wet in the stand-up biz. I look forward to Tom’s insight on the subject matter as I’ve always enjoyed the craft and would love to hear more of what all goes into it.

I work in a hospital in Houston and have genuinely appreciated you and Coach’s hard work, it’s been a great relief to just laugh and not have to worry about who is around. Especially RE-listening to comics that I have already heard and been huge fans but never even thought to listen to again. Please keep it going!! P.S. your algorithm is real!!!

Good podcast, but missing a female presence. I enjoyed it more when there was both a male and female hosts. Update: I’ve listened to quite a few more episodes and they do play a good amount of female comedians.

Tom Thakkar is so boring compared to the former host Chris Distefano. Unimaginative conversationalist with little chemistry between him and the producer, who is also very unfunny and yet takes up half the speaking time in the whole podcast. Skip his parts to hear the Stand-Up. 2 stars because at least there’s stand-up comedy to entertain you 20% of the time.

Maybe it’s just me. Maybe not. Would rate the show 5 stars if wasn’t for the overuse of the cliches “killing it” and “murdering it” by the host - lazy lexicon - more creativity - make me laugh!

I love this podcast. You get to hear your favorites and find new ones. Tom is the best, he is sincere, pulls get content, and makes you feel inclusive. No idea how he does it. Just listen - it’s everything you need, even if you don’t know it yet.

I just found this and am enjoying while getting ready for work or driving there. Just lifts my mood. So over negativity. This is reality with humor. Keep on with the good vibes!
