Amander MeanderMy favorite podcast is back!Oh Lou I have missed you! This is such a special and spectacular podcast that goes into the complexities of love! It is the expansion of the universe in all it’s complications of love! Hearing Lou’s voice again was pure love in my headphones!

IrahhljSo goodMy new favorite podcast, I wish there were more episodes. The stories are beautifully curated and they evoke so many different feelings in me.

SuckmypickleI love to feel but rarely doThis shows makes me feel so much.

texlamarFirst Time ListenerThe first and only episode I’ve listened to is titled, “The Detonator.” Weird transition (no transition, really) between the stalking victim’ POV and the stalker’s. But my biggest question/concern is why was the stalker even given a voice?? (And, yes, I know it is an actor, but still... .) So wrong.

poddingatworkdo not listen to HowlThe producers of this show should really be more conscious of the types of stories they put up. Abandoning an old dog in a house where she gets attacked? The protagonist deserves her guilt, and so does this podcast for airing it. I like the other stories, but Howl was a line crossed.

caryguy1Poetic, like the most relieving exhaleThis show grounds me. I feel centered after listening. Sometimes the stories are heavier and sometimes lighter in the messiness of that human connection, but I always feel hopeful after the episode is done. I described this podcast to a friend like this: “You know that feeling of taking a deep breath in and holding your breath for a long time? And how that exhale feels like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders? That’s the way this show makes me feel.” Please produce more episodes. You all are too incredible not to. Thank you for this gift of your artful storytelling.

Kalena!Beautiful and raw storytellingThis podcast features real people talking about human relationships. My favorites are The Other Side and The Way We Were, two stories that feature how time and circumstance impact love. I really love this pod and wish they’d make more seasons!!!!

Elisabet16Don’t listen to Howl!I have up to now thoroughly enjoyed the Love Me podcasts; that is until I listened to the one entitled "Howl." I have always found these podcasts to be heartwarming or thought-provoking. This one just seemed cruel and selfish. For the author to abandon her aged companion, the Chihuahua named Midge, seems not only heartless to me, but also brought me down to a level of depression and sorrow I'm not expecting when I listen to this podcast. I would appreciate the producer attempting to be more sensitive and selective when it comes to stories of this ilk. I know the author of the story expressed her sorrow when she decided to give Midge away after years of companionship to her as a single woman because of the dog's behavioral issues after the author became a parent. But to abandon her dog once again after learning of the truly deplorable conditions she had unknowingly placed her once-precious Midge into is inexcusable. To walk away and reject Midge again after learning the truth is unfathomable to me. How could she just leave her there? Could there not have been an alternative? Fortunately for Midge, the dog escaped that misery of pain and rejection through death six months after her former owner's visit. Yes, the author felt pain--and well she should! I certainly did listening to her awful story.

KBP-app-reviewLove Me fanThis is such a wonderful and lovingly made show. I was so excited when I saw that there was an update as I’ve been eagerly awaiting new eps, so I’m holding out hope for a fourth season, though Lu sounded cautious in her wording. Love Me, I love you!!! Come back to us!

BluesoccerberryQuirky, heartwarming/breaking simultaneouslyThis podcast has improved over time, and this last season was excellent. I loved the theme of “the messiness of human connection”. The last episode and in particular the last story about the girl with the glass eye demonstrated the bittersweetness, yearning and longing for connection that this show explores. Great season 🙌🏽!

Pfbrown7The Cat and the WhippetI can’t tell you how much I loved this episode!! I listened to it twice in fact 😊 I have found myself to be a hopeless romantic and I enjoyed listening to all of John’s tales of dating woes after another. So many of my encounters are like that lol! I still keep going though. I believe in real true love and I’m glad people like John are still out there making sure they find there Person😍. Thank you for all you do. Regards, Pnina (Pa nine ah)

Lil Mar ShreyLove AllI adore and appreciate this podcast. All episodes are meaningful. Some episodes make me laugh out loud while others make my cry but all remind me we are human and we all should show compassion. Thank you for reminding me to live life rather than simply exist.

MishiBurgLove the true stuff, hate the fictionTitle says it all. The segments that are true-Life pieces are really good. But I find the scripted content to be cheesy, like I’m listening to bad community theater. Worse is that sometimes I’m not sure for a bit of what I’m hearing is scripted/performed by actors, or if it is non-fiction being read by the original person involved.

Won ton 83Howl is the worstIt was single handed lay the MOST DEPRESSING story I have EVER listened to. Out of thousands, I sobbed and sobbed. That wretched woman just abandoning her poor helpless dog because of a stupid child. IT SAYS IN DESCRIPTION THE DOG HAD NO TEETH, how could such a deplorable thing. I will never forget this until the day I die, and now I sob again thinking about it.
-
NancymesaazThanksThis is a good variety of stories. I look forward to the next episode.

Jkl1289Awesome 1st half horrible 2nd halfNot sure how the creators could get it so right AND so wrong! The first half has personal stories told in the first person and are great and touching. But then the 2nd half is a fake skit which maybe are supposed to be funny? They're not and they don't fit into the idea of the podcast from the first half. If the skits are taken off and another personal story is added I will change my rating to five stars.

SMcc76Sweet but...I absolutely love this podcast BUT I HATE the music. It's so bad I've debated not listening but my love for the content wins out. High pitched synthesizers with drawn out chords should be banned.
